The hydraulic fracturing is a nonlinear,fluid-solid coupling and transient problem,in most cases it is always time-consuming to simulate this process *** recent years,although many numerical methods were proposed to settle this problem,most of them still require a large amount of computer *** it is a high demand to develop more efficient numerical approaches to achieve the real-time monitoring of the fracture geometry during the hydraulic fracturing *** this study,a reduced order modeling technique namely Proper Generalized Decomposition(PGD),is applied to accelerate the simulations of the transient,non-linear coupled system of hydraulic fracturing problem,to match this extremely tight response time *** separability of the solution in space and time dimensions is studied for a simplified model *** solid and fluid equations are coupled explicitly by inverting the solid discrete problem,and a simple iterative procedure to handle the non-linear characteristic of the hydraulic fracturing problem is proposed in this *** validation illustrates that the results of PGD match well with these of standard finite element method in terms o f fracture opening and fluid pressure in the ***,after the off-line calculations,the numerical results can be obtained in real time.

A novel microporous two-dimensional(2D)Ni-based phosphonate metal-organic framework(MOF;denoted as IEF-13)has been successfully synthesized by a simple and green hydrothermal method and fully characterized using a combination of experimental and computational *** resolution by single-crystal X-ray diffraction reveals that IEF-13 crystallizes in the triclinic space group Pi having bi-octahedra nickel nodes and a photo/electroactive tritopic phosphonate ***,this material exhibits coordinatively unsaturated nickel(II)sites,free-P0_(3)H_(2)and-P0_(3)H acidic groups,a C0_(2)accessible microporosity,and an exceptional thermal and chemical ***,its in-deep optoelectronic characterization evidences a photoresponse suitable for *** this sense,the photocatalytic activity for challenging H_(2)generation and overall water splitting in absence of any co-catalyst using UV-Vis irradiation and simulated sunlight has been evaluated,constituting the first report for a phosphonate-MOF ***-13 is able to produce up to 2,200 fimol of H_(2)per gram using methanol as sacrificial agent,exhibiting stability,maintaining its crystal structure and allowing its *** more,170μmol of H_(2)per gram were produced using IEF-13 as photocatalyst in the absence of any co-catalyst for the overall water splitting,being this reaction limited by the 0_(2)*** present work opens new avenues for further optimization of the photocatalytic activity in this type of multifunctional materials.

Modern conflicts demand substantial physical and psychological exertion,often resulting in fatigue and diminished combat or operational *** exoskeletons have been developed recently to address these challenges,presenting various limitations that affect their operational or everyday *** article evaluates the performance of a dual-purpose passive ankle exoskeleton developed for the reduction of metabolic costs during walking,seeking to identify a force element that could be applied to the target *** on the 6-min walk test,twenty-nine subjects participated in the study using three different force *** results indicate that it is possible to reduce metabolic expenditure while using the developed ***,the comfort and range of motion results verify the exoskeleton's suitability for use in uneven terrain and during extended ***,the choice of the force element should be tailored to each user,and the control system should be adjustable to optimise the exoskeleton's performance.

The northern flank of the Tindouf Syncline in southern Morocco exhibits a continuous, well exposed Carboniferous succession with limestones of Late Asbian to Early Bashkirian age containing rich and diverse foraminiferal and rugose coral assemblages. Analysis of these assemblages provides new data on the relatively poorly known Saharan basins. The palaeobiogeographical relationship of the Tindouf Basin with other Palaeotethyan basins is complex. Although there is a predominance of cosmopolitan taxa for the Palaeotethys, it is recognized that there was an influence of basins from NW Europe, such as the UK and Ireland. Some taxa are recorded in both NW Europe and Tindouf without any characteristic contributions from intermediate basins in northern Morocco. The neighbouring Béchar Basin in Algeria presents distinct assemblages. The bulk of the data analyzed suggest that this sector of the western Palaeotethys can be subdivided into four palaeobiogeographical subprovinces: the Atlantic Subprovince (UK, Ireland, N France and Belgium), the Mediterranean Subprovince (Pyrenees, Montagne Noire, Betic Cordillera, Rif (N Morocco) and Balearic Islands), and the Saharan Subprovince (Béchar, Reggan, Ahnet-Mouydir and Tindouf). In between, mobile belts of mixed faunal assemblage characteristics are observed (e.g., SW Spain and Central Meseta) forming the West peri-Gondwanan *** of the Tindouf Basin faunas shows that, as in other Saharan basins, there is a high diversity and abundance of foraminiferal taxa, with a higher proportion of survivors and longer stratigraphic ranges; these features also are mirrored by rugose corals. This emphasizes the longevity of the carbonate platform in a tropical setting, where periodic transgressions introduced new assemblages, and oceanic currents are interpreted as one of the main controlling factors for the distribution of the taxa in these subprovinces. AIM： To evaluate the safety and efficacy of a dexamethasone（DEX） intravitreal implant for diabetic macular edema（DME）.METHODS： Totally 113 eyes of 84 patients were divided in three subgroups： naive patients（n=11）, pseudophakic patients（n=72） and phakic patients（n=30）. Inclusive criterion comprised adult diabetic patients with central fovea thickening and impaired visual acuity resulting from DME for whom previous standard treatments showed no improvement in both central macular thickness（CMT） and best corrected visual acuity（BCVA） after at least 3 mo of treatment. Outcome data were obtained from patient visits at baseline and at months 1, 3, 5, 9 and 12 after the first DEX implant injection. At each of these visits, patients underwent measurement of BCVA, a complete eye examination and measurement of CMT and macular volume（MV） carried out with optical coherence tomography（OCT） images. RESULTS： Seventy-three eyes（64.5%） received a single implant, 30（26.5%） received two implants and 10（9%） received three implants. At baseline, average in BCVA, CMT and MV were 43.5±20.8, 462.8±145 and 12.6±2.5 respectively. These values improved significantly at 1 mo（BCVA： 47.2±19.5, CMT： 339.6±120, MV： 11.11±1.4） and 3 mo（BCVA： 53.2±18.1, CMT： 353.8±141, MV： 11.3±1.3）（P≤0.05）. At 5 mo（BCVA： 50.9±19.8, CMT： 425±150, MV： 12.27±2.3）, 9 mo（BCVA： 48.4±17.6, CMT： 445.5±170, MV： 12.5±2.3） and 12 mo（BCVA： 47.7±18.8, CMT： 413.2±149, MV： 12.03±2.5）, improvements in the three parameters were no longer statistically significant and decreased progressively but did not reach baseline values. There were no clinical differences between subgroups. Ocular complications were ***： Patients with DEX implants show maximum efficacy at 3 mo which then declined progressively, but is still better than baseline values at the end of follow-up.

Objective To assess the differences in incidence, clinical features, current treatment strategies and outcome in patients with type-2vs. type-1 acute myocardial infarction （AMI）.Methods We included 824 consecutive patients with a diagnosis of type-1 or type-2 AMI. Dur-ing index hospitalization, clinical features and treatment strategies were collected in detail. At 1-year follow-up, mortality, stroke, non-fatal myocardial infarction and major bleeding were ***-1 AMI was present in 707 （86%） of the cases while 117 （14%） were classified as type-2. Patients with type-2 AMI were more frequently female and had higher co-morbidities such as diabetes, previous non-ST segment elevation acute coronary syndromes, impaired renal function, anaemia, atrial fibrillation and malignancy. However, preserved left ventricular ejection fraction and normal coronary arteries were more frequently seen, an invasive treatment was less common, and anti-platelet medications, statins and beta-blockers were less prescribed in patients with type-2 AMI. At 1-year follow-up, type-2 AMI was associated with a higher crude mortality risk （HR： 1.75, 95% CI： 1.14-2.68;P = 0.001）, but this association did not remain significant after multivariable adjustment （P = 0.785）. Furthermore, we did not find type-2 AMI to be associated with other clinical *** In this real-life population, compared with type-1, type-2 AMI were predominantly women and had more co-morbidities. Invasive treatment strategies and cardioprotective medications were less used in type-2, while the 1-year clinical outcomes were similar.
