Union（EU）energy direc.ive,bioma.s is a.suita.l. renewa.l. *** a.m of this study wa. to experimenta.0}y qua.tify a.d c.a.a.1}erize the emission of pa.tic.l.te ma.ter（PM（2.5））resul.ing from the c.mbustion of two bioma.s fuel.（c.ipped residua.0}bioma.s from pine a.d euc.l.pt）,in a.pil.t-sc.l. bubbl.ng fl.idized bed（BFB）c.mbustor under distinc. opera.ing *** va.ia.l.s eva.0}a.ed were the stoic.iometry a.d,in the c.se of euc.l.pt,the l.a.1}ing of the *** c. a.d PM（2.5）emission fa.1}ors were l.wer when the stoic.iometry used in the experiments wa. higher（0.33±0.1 g c./kg a.d 16.8±1.0 mg PM（2.5）/kg,dry ga.es）.The trea.ment of the fuel.by l.a.1}ing before its c.mbustion ha. shown to promote higher PM（2.5）emissions（55.2±2.5 mg/kg,a. burned）.Orga.ic.a.d el.menta.0}c.rbon represented 3.1 to 30 wt.% of the pa.tic.0} ma.s,whil. c.rbona.e（c.3^（2-））a.1}ounted for between 2.3 a.d 8.5 wt.%.The pa.tic.l.te ma.s wa. ma.nl. c.mposed of inorga.ic.ma.ter（71% to 86% of the PM（2.5）ma.s）.c.mpa.ed to residentia.0}stoves,BFB c.mbustion genera.ed very high ma.s fra.1}ions of inorga.ic.*** wa. the wa.er sol.bl. ion in higher c.nc.ntra.ion in the PM（2.5）emitted by the c.mbustion of euc.l.pt,whil. c.l.ium wa. the domina.t wa.er sol.bl. ion in the c.se of pine.

In this work, a.l.mel.a. gel.pha.e emul.ion using oil.extra.2}ed from the seeds of D. a.0}ta.ba.u) wa. devel.ped.
