The aim of this work was to evaluate the effects of the application of different sources and doses of nitrogen(N)in the growth and productivity of sugarcane in cane *** experiments were conducted in the area of Rio Paraiso II farm,belonging to the Raízen factory,in the city of Jataí,*** soil was classified as dystrophic red *** experimental design used was in randomized block,analysed in factorial scheme of 2×4×4,with three *** factors analysed were two sources of N(urea and ammonium nitrate),four doses of N(0,60,120 and 180 kg/ha)and four evaluation times(210,250,290 and 330 d after planting(DAP)).The parameters analysed were plant height(PH),diameter of stalks(DS),length of internodes(LI)and productivity of stalks(PS).Results observed significant difference in the sources and doses of N for the evaluated parameters in sugarcane *** in the average doses of 110 kg/ha and 100.87 kg/ha provided the greatest PH and LI of sugarcane,*** nitrate at a dose of 180 kg/ha presented the largest DS of sugarcane(cane plant)at 330 *** PS of sugarcane SP80-1816 at 60 kg/ha and 120 kg/ha ammonium nitrate has higher *** the PS,it is recommended the application of doses between 60 kg/ha and 120 kg/ha of N of the source ammonium nitrate in sugar cane(cane plant).

Background: The concomitant presence of intestinal parasite infections (IP) and tuberculosis (TB) has relevance. M. tuberculosis immune response is associated with type 1 T helper cell (Th1) while IP is associated with type Th2 cell. However, there are several contradictory reports on cytokine production under coinfection and this could be in association to the mycobacterial antigens used in the studies. Aim: To get insight into the effects of different M. tuberculosis-specific antigens (ESAT-6/CFP-10 and 38 kDa/CFP-10) in generating of appropriate cytokines on peripheral blood mononuclear cells of IPTB co infected patients. Method: ELISA assessed IFN-γ and other 16 cytokines production and plasm IgE. In 18 months, we documented demographic, economic, clinical characteristics and IP frequency in individuals from Brazil. Results: An overall 10/35 (28.5%) were IPTB co infected and 40/76 (52.6%;p = 0.024) asymptomatic intestinal parasite infected community controls (IPCC). Endo-limax nana (40%) and Entamoeba coli (22%), were the most nonpathogenic protozoan identified and Entamoeba histolytica, Giardia intestinalis, Ascaris lumbricoides and Strongyloides stercoralis were the pathogenic species (40%). IgE was higher in IPCC (p = 0.036). Cytokine profiles were significantly biased toward a Th2 type IL-5 (p = 0.001) and IL-13 (p = 0.033), pro-inflammatory GM-CSF (p = 0.019) and borderline lower IL-1β in IPTB, all associated with ESAT-6/CFP-10, while IL-7 was borderline lower, but 38 kDa/CFP-10 associated;as well as IL-8 higher (p al discrepancy in Th1/Th2 response, is associated with the antigen priming cells.

The global trend toward aging populations has resulted in an increase in the occurrence of alzheimer's disease(AD)and associated socioeconomic *** metabolism of amyloid-β(Aβ)has been proposed as a significant pathomechanism in AD,supported by results of recent clinical trials using anti-Aβ***,the cognitive benefits of the current treatments are *** etiology of AD is multifactorial,encompassing Aβand tau accumulation,neuroinflammation,demyelination,vascular dysfunction,and comorbidities,which collectively lead to widespread neurodegeneration in the brain and cognitive ***,solely removing Aβfrom the brain may be insufficient to combat neurodegeneration and preserve *** attain effective treatment for AD,it is necessary to(1)conduct extensive research on various mechanisms that cause neurodegeneration,including advances in neuroimaging techniques for earlier detection and a more precise characterization of molecular events at scales ranging from cellular to the full system level;(2)identify neuroprotective intervention targets against different neurodegeneration mechanisms;and(3)discover novel and optimal combinations of neuroprotective intervention strategies to maintain cognitive function in AD *** alzheimer's Disease Neuroprotection Research Initiative's objective is to facilitate coordinated,multidisciplinary efforts to develop systemic neuroprotective strategies to combat *** aim is to achieve mitigation of the full spectrum of pathological processes underlying AD,with the goal of halting or even reversing cognitive decline.

Purpose:This study aims at reporting the experience of a cancer hospital’s multiprofessional team with surgery patients in performing cytoreductive surgeries associated with hyperthermic intraperitoneal ***:It is a reporting about the experience of the multiprofessional team at AC Camargo Cancer Center’s surgery center,which operates in cytoreductive surgeries with hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy,thus guaranteeing the surgery patient’s ***:No safety report for the surgery patient subjected to intraperitoneal hypothermic chemotherapy was found in the ***,the surgery center’s multiprofessional team’s practice was based on standards for manipulating chemotherapeutic agents and for safely administering medication.A checklist was elaborated for cytoreductive surgeries with hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy based on the surgery patient safety protocol and the institution’s multiprofessional team’s ***:From the multiprofessional team’s experiences in cytoreductive surgeries with hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy,the importance of elaborating a checklist to promote the quality of assistance and guarantee patient safety during the entire intraoperative phase became evident.

Purpose The Large Hadron Collider(LHC)at European Organization for Nuclear Research is planned to be upgraded to the high luminosity *** the luminosity makes muon triggering reliable and ofﬂine reconstruction very *** enhance the redundancy of the Compact Muon Solenoid(CMS)Muon system and resolve the ambiguity of track reconstruction in the forward region,an improved Resistive Plate Chamber(iRPC)with excellent time resolution will be installed in the Phase-2 CMS *** iRPC will be equipped with Front-End Electronics(FEE),which can perform high-precision time measurements of signals from both ends of the *** Back-End Electronics(BEE)need to be researched and developed to provide sophisticated functionalities such as interacting with FEE with shared links for fast,slow control(SC)and data,in addition to trigger primitives(TPs)generation and data acquisition(DAQ).Method The BEE prototype uses a homemade hardware board compatible with the MTCA standard,the back-end board(BEB).BEE interacts with FEE via a bidirectional 4.8 Gbps optical paired-link that integrates clock,data,and control *** clock and fast/slow control commands are distributed from BEB to the FEE via the *** uplink is used for BEB to receive the time information of the iRPC’sﬁred strips and the responses to the fast/slow control *** have a pipelined detector data for clusterﬁnding operation,recover(DeMux)the time relationship of which is changed due to the transmission protocol for the continuous incoming MUXed data from *** at each bunch crossing(BX),clusteringﬁred strips that satisfy time and spatial constraints to generate *** incoming raw MUXed detector data and TPs in a time window and latency based on the trigger signal are read out to the DAQ *** Ethernet(GbE)of SiTCP and commercial 10-GbE are used as link standards for SC and DAQ,respectively,for the BEB to interact with the *** The joint test results of
