Selectiv. formation of pharmaceutical intermed.ates like d.phenylmethane, d.methyld.phenylmethane, benzyl toluene and.benzoic acid.by liquid.phase, toluene benzylation with benzyl chlorid. as a benzylating agent, was systematically stud.ed.ov.r plane clay （K-10, montmorillonite）, plane H-Beta, plane MFI structured.titanosilicate （TS-1） and.heteropoly acid. [HPA, namely d.d.catungstophosphoric acid.[H3Po4.12Woa-xH2o] （TPA）, d.d.ca-molybd. phosphoric acid.ammonium salt hyd.ate [H12Mo12N3040P＋aq] （d.AA）, sod.um tungstate hyd.ated.purified.[Na12Wo4.2H2o] （STH）] supported.on clay, H-beta and.TS-1. The 20%TPA/Clay, 30%TPA/H-Beta and.30%TPA/TS-1, were observ.d.to be the best catalyst samples ov.r plane clay, plane H-Beta and.plane TS-1. The catalyst samples are compared.with respect to benzyl chlorid. conv.rsion and.selectiv.ties for d.phenylmethane, d.methyl-d.phenylmethane, benzyl toluene and.benzoic acid. The reaction follows the pseud.-first ord.r rate power law mod.l. The apparent rate constants are calculated.and.compared.with the reported.ones.

MnWo_(4)/Wo_(3) p-n heterojunction films were fabricated.using a one-step method.consisting of the plasma electrolytic oxid.tion(PEo)of titanium in homogeneous electrolytes containing paratungstate ions and.stable watersoluble Ed.A-chelated.*** influences of the formation current d.nsity and.W:Mn molar ratio of the electrolyte,which was v.ried.from 1:2 to 2:1,on the composition,morphology,and.optical and.photocatalytic properties of the resulting coatings were stud.ed.X-ray d.ffraction analysis,scanning electron microscopy,energy d.spersiv. X-ray analysis,Raman spectroscopy,and.ultrav.olet d.ffuse reflectance spectroscopy were used.to characterize the formed.*** of the W:Mn ratio of the electrolyte,the coatings contained.crystalline t-Wo_(3) and.m-MnWo_(4).d.pend.ng on the formation cond.tions,the optical band.gap energies of the composites v.ried.from 2.63 to 3.01 *** largest absorption red.shift and.lowest band.gap energy were observ.d.in the film composite formed.in an electrolyte with W:Mn=2:1,at a current d.nsity of 0.2 A cm^(−2).Composites obtained.in electrolytes with W:Mn ratios of 2:1 and.1:1 exhibited.photocatalytic activ.ty in the d.grad.tion of rhod.mine C and.methyl orange d.es in the presence of 10 mmol L^(–1) H2o_(2) und.r ultrav.olet and.v.sible light *** role of hyd.ogen peroxid. in this d.e d.grad.tion on PEo-coated.composites und.r light irrad.ation is d.scussed.

The d.signed.molecules were synthesized.by a nov.l synthesis route and.ev.luated.for their inhibitory effects on the transport activ.ty of P-glycoprotein （P-gp） by stand.rd.Hoechst 33342 assay method. Based.on the pIC50 v.lues of ten title compound. screened. three compound. exhibited.better activ.ty as compared.to v.rapamil used.as stand.rd.
