Exposure to stress negatively affects error processing,but the impact of stress on error awareness remains to be *** the present study,we examined the temporal dynamics of error awareness and post-error adjustment following acute ***-nine healthy men were randomly assigned to the control(n=26)or stress group(n=23).After stress induction,participants completed the error awareness task,and their brain activity was assessed by *** to the control group,the stress group demonstrated lower error awareness accuracy and smaller pe(error positivity)and Δpe amplitudes following aware error responses,which indicated impairment of error awareness following ***,the stress group had lower accuracy in post-aware error responses than in post-unaware error responses and the control group,which indicated poor post-error adjustment following *** results showed a stress effect on sequential stages of error *** induces impaired error identification,which further generates maladaptive post-error performance.

We present the interstellar scintillation analysis of fast radio burst(FRB)20220912A during its extremely active episode in 2022using data from the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical Radio Telescope(FAST).We detect a scintillation arc in the FRB’s secondary spectrum,which describes the power in terms of the scattered FRB signals’time delay and Doppler *** arc indicates that the scintillation is caused by a highly localized *** analysis favors a Milky Way origin of the ionized interstellar medium(IISM)for the localized scattering medium but cannot rule out a host galaxy *** present our method for detecting the scintillation arc,which can be applied generally to sources with irregularly spaced bursts or *** methods could help shed light on the complex interstellar environment surrounding the FRBs and in our galaxy.

Activated carbon is employed for the adsorption of organic micropollutants(OMPs)from water,typically present in concentrations ranging from ng L1 to mg L***,the efficacy of OMP removal is considerably deteriorated due to competitive adsorption from background dissolved organic matter(DOM),present at substantially higher concentrations in mg L*** the characteristics of competitive DOM is crucial in predicting OMP adsorption efficiencies across diverse natural *** weight(MW),aromaticity,and polarity influence DOM *** the aromaticity-related metrics,such as UV254,of low MW DOM were proposed to correlate with DOM competitiveness,the method suffers from limitations in understanding the interplay of polarity and aromaticity in determining DOM ***,we elucidate the intricate influence of aromaticity and polarity in low MW DOM competition,spanning from a fraction level to a compound level,by employing direct sample injection liquid chromatography coupled with ultrahigh-resolution Fouriertransform ion cyclotron resonance mass *** exchange resin pre-treatment eliminated 93%of UV254-active DOM,predominantly aromatic and polar DOM,and only minimally alleviated DOM *** characterization revealed that nonpolar molecular formulas(constituting 26%PAC-adsorbable DOM)with medium aromaticity contributed more to the DOM *** analysis indicated that the competitiveness of highly aromatic LMW DOM compounds was strongly counterbalanced by increased *** aromaticity-derived p-p interaction cannot facilitate the competitive adsorption of hydrophilic DOM *** results underscore the constraints of depending solely on aromaticity-based approaches as the exclusive interpretive measure for DOM *** a broader context,this study demonstrates an effect-oriented DOM analysis,elucidating counterbalancing interactions of DOM molecular properties

Sedimentary facies identification is critical for carbonate oil and gas reservoir *** traditional method of sedimentary facies identification not only be affected by the engineer's experience but also takes a long *** carbonate sedimentary facies based on machine learning is the trend of future development and has the advantages of short time consuming and reliable results without engineers'subjective *** many references reported the application of machine learning to identify lithofacies,but identifying sedimentary facies of carbonate reservoirs is much more challenging due to the complex sedimentary environment and tectonic *** paper compares the performance of the carbonate sedimentary facies identification using four different machine learning models,and the optimal machine learning with the highest prediction accuracy is ***,the carbonate sedimentary facies are classified into the lagoon,shallow sea,shoal,fore-shoal,and inter-shoal five tags based on the well ***,five well log curves including spectral gamma ray(SgR),uranium-free gamma ray(CgR),photoelectric absorption cross-section index(pe),true formation resistivity(RT),shallow lateral resistivity(RS)are used as the input,and the manual identified carbonate sedimentary facies are used as the output of the machine learning *** performance of four different machine learning algorithms,including support vector machine(SVM),deep neural network(DNN),long short-term memory(LSTM)network,and random forest(RF)are *** other two wells are used for model *** research results show that the RF method has the highest accuracy of sedimentary facies prediction,and the average prediction accuracy is 78.81%;the average accuracy of sedimentary facies prediction using SVM is 77.93%.The sedimentary facies predictions using DNN and LSTM are less satisfying compared with RF and SVM,and the average accuracy is 69.94%and 73.05%,respect

gamma secretase(gS)is an intramembranous enzyme that acts on the amyloid precursor protein and Notch inside lipid *** enzyme is responsible for amyloid-𝛽propagation,one of the well-known causes of Alzheimer’s ***,the effects of lipids on gS activity and structural dynamics are ***,in this study,we performed coarse-grained molecular dynamics simulations to probe the effects of five individual lipids on *** lipids included 1-palmitoyl-2-oleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine(POpe),1-palmitoyl2-oleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine(POPC),1,2-dipalmitoyl-sn-phosphatidylcholine(DOPC),2-dimyristoyl-snglycero-3-phosphocholine(DMPC),and 1,2-dilauroyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine(DLPC).These lipids are structurally characterized by different heads(i.e.,NH_(3)[pe]for POpe ***_(3)[PC]for POPC),number of double bonds(one for POPC *** for DOPC),and alkyl tail chain lengths(16:1/18:1 for DOPC vs.14:0/14:0 for DMPC vs.12:0/12:0 for DLPC).This indicates distinct microenvironments and adjustable structural elements for catalytic function when gS is *** results revealed that the presence of more unsaturated bonds in DOPC than in POPC resulted in greater gS ***,lipids with short alkyl tail chains or with PC heads instead of pe heads had improved mobility of the sixth transmembrane helix of gS,which is responsible for the considerable active site flexibility and presenilin 1 subunit *** length of the DMPC alkyl tail chain was between that of DOPC and DLPC because the up-down and cross-correlation motions of gS in DMPC was the lowest among the three lipids,and gS mobility in DMPC was the lowest among all five *** may be because the alkyl tail chain length(i.e.,3.8 nm thickness of the DMPC bilayer)was suitable for gS embedding,thereby restraining more gS motions than that of the long(DOPC)or short lipids(DLPC).Collectively,these results indicated that gS activity can be modulated through changes in con

AgNbO_(3)(AN)and modified AgNbO_(3) have been extensively investigated as promising lead-free antiferroelectric(AFE)energy storage *** studies have focused mainly on the use of an ion dopant at the A/B site to obtain a stabilized AFE phase;however,simultaneous improvements in the recoverable energy storage density(Wrec)and efficiency(n)are stll difficult to ***,we innovatively constructed a AgNbO_(3)-NaNbO_(3)-(Sr_(0.7)Bi_(0.2))TiO_(3)(AN-NN-SBT)ternary solid solution to achieve a relaxor AFE in AgNbO_(3)-based *** coexistence of antiferroelectric(M3)and paraelectric(O)phases in 0.8(0.7AgNbO_(3)-0.3NaNbO_(3))-0.2(Sro.7Bio.2)TiO_(3) confirms the successful realization of a relaxor AFE,attributed to multiple ion occupation at the A/B ***,a high Wrec of 7.53 ***^(-3) and n of 74.0% are acquired,together with superior stability against various temperatures,frequencies,and cycling ***,a high power density(298.7 MW·cm^(-3))and fast discharge speed(41.4 ns)are also demonstrated for the AgNbO_(3)-based relaxor *** work presents a promising energy storage AgNbO_(3)-based ternary solid solution and proposes a novel strategy for AgNbO_(3)-based energy storage via the design of relaxor AFE materials.

Polyolefins such as polyethylene(pe)are one of the largest-scale synthetic plastics and play a key role in modern ***,polyethylene is extremely inert to chemical recycling owing to its lack of chemical functionality and low polarity,making it one of the most challenging environmental hazards ***,we developed a phosphorylated CeO_(2)catalyst by an organophosphate precursor and featured efficient photocatalysis of low-density polyethylene(LDpe)without the acid or alkaline *** to pristine CeO_(2),the surface phosphorylation allows to introduce Brønsted acid sites,which facilitate to form carbonium ions on LDpe via *** addition,the suitable band structure of the phosphorylated CeO_(2)catalyst enables efficient photoabsorption and generates reactive oxygen species,leading to the C–C bond cleavage of *** a result,the phosphorylated CeO_(2)catalyst exhibited an outstanding carbon conversion rate of>94%after 48 h of photocatalysis under 50 mW/cm^(2)of simulated sunlight,with a high CO_(2)product selectivity of>99%.Furthermore,the pe microparticles with sizes larger than 10μm released from LDpe plastic wrap were directly and completely degraded by photocatalysis within 12 h,suggesting an attractive and environmentally benign strategy of utilizing solar energy-based photocatalysis for reducing potential hazards of LDpe plastic trashes.

In 2023,two consecutive earthquakes exceeding a magnitude of 7 occurred in Türkiye,causing severe casualties and economic *** damage to critical urban infrastructure and building structures,including highways,railroads,and water supply pipelines,was particularly severe in areas where these structures intersected the seismogenic *** infrastructure projects that traverse active faults are susceptible to the influence of fault movement,pulse velocity,and ground *** this study,we used a unique approach to analyze the acceleration records obtained from the seismic station array(9 strong ground motion stations)located along the East Anatolian Fault(the seismogenic fault of the MW7.8 mainshock of the 2023 Türkiye earthquake doublet).The acceleration records were filtered and integrated to obtain the velocity and displacement time *** used the results of an on-site investigation,jointly conducted by China Earthquake Administration and Türkiye’s AFAD,to analyze the distribution of PgA,PgV,and PgD recorded by the strong motion array of the East Anatolian *** found that the maximum horizontal PgA in this earthquake was 3.0 g,and the maximum co-seismic surface displacement caused by the East Anatolian Fault rupture was 6.50 *** the fault rupture propagated southwest,the velocity pulse caused by the directional effect of the rupture increased gradually,with the maximum PgA reaching 162.3 cm/*** also discussed the seismic safety of critical infrastructure projects traversing active faults,using two case studies of water supply pipelines in Türkiye that were damaged by *** used a three-dimensional finite element model of the pe(polyethylene)water pipeline at the Islahiye State Hospital and fault displacement observations obtained through on-site investigation to analyze pipeline failure *** further investigated the effect of the fault-crossing angle on seismic safety of a pipeline,based on our analysis and the failure p
