The substantial increase in the efficiency of organic solar cells achieved in recent years would not have been possible without work on the synthesis of new materials and understanding the relationship between the morphology and performance of organic photovoltaic *** structure of solvent-cast active layers is a result of phase separation in mixtures of donor and acceptor *** a large extent,this process depends on the interactions between the components of the ***,we present a systematic analysis of the morphology of poly[n-9'-heptadecanyl-2,7-carbazole-alt-5,5-(4',7'-di-2-thienyl-2',1',3'-benzothiadiazole)](PCDTBT)and[6,6]-phenyl-C71-butyric acid methyl ester(PC70BM)films in terms of the ternary phase *** interaction parameters between PCDTBT and four different solvents,namely chloroform,chlorobenzene,o-dichlorobenzene,and toluene,were estimated based on swelling *** on these values,ternary phase diagrams of PCDTBT:PC70BM in different solvents were *** morphology of spin-coated films with different blend ratios cast from different solvents is discussed in terms of the obtained phase diagrams.

The primary goal in the analysis of hierarchical distributed monitoring and control architectures is to study the spatiotemporal patterns of the interactions between areas or *** this paper,a novel conceptual framework for distributed monitoring of power system oscillations using multiblock principal component analysis(MB-PCA)and higher-order singular value decomposition(HOSVD)is proposed to understand,characterize,and visualize the global behavior of the power *** proposed framework can be used to evaluate the influence of a given area or utility on the oscillatory behavior,uncover low-dimensional structures from high-dimensional data,and analyze the effects of heterogeneous data on the modal characteristics and interpretation of power *** metrics are then investigated to examine the relationships between the dynamic patterns and participation of individual data blocks in the global behavior of the *** application of these techniques is demonstrated by case studies of two systems:a 14-machine test system and a 5449-bus 635-generator equivalent model of a large power system.

The incidence of cardiogenic shock(CS)complicating acute myocardial infarction(AMI-CS)remains between 3%and 10%and in-hospital mortality is hardly less than 30%.[1-3]In addition,the economic cost of caring for these patients is high.[4]Revascularization in the acute phase is the only measure that has demonstrated to modify the prognosis of AMI-CS.

The Index of Atmospheric Purity(IAP)is a popular tool used for the assessment of air quality in polluted urban areas,on the basis of phytosociological data of epiphytic lichen *** hypothesized that this indicator could also be used in less polluted forest areas to determine the quality of ecological conditions for *** aim of the present study was to verify the use of IAP method in the assessment of environmental pollution,and alternatively for the assessment of general ecological conditions in protected mountain forests of Gorce national Park(Polish Western Carpathians)based on the epiphytic lichen biota associated with Picea *** spatial distribution of IAP values on monitored sites in GnP was compared with:1)spatial distribution of accumulated sulfur,nitrogen,selected heavy metals,and total heavy metals in Hypogymnia physodes thalli in 1993 and 2018(30 sites),2)mean ecological indicator values characterizing species requirements for light(L),substrate reaction(R)and nutrients(n),in 1993,2013 and 2018(33 sites).Generalized linear model and redundancy analysis were performed for disclosing most influencing factors affecting lichen *** study revealed a few negligible relationships between IAP values and accumulation of such elements as ni,Mn,Cd,and Cr in both monitoring ***,IAP can be useful for the identification of forest areas with a high degree of naturalness.

Soil erosion and associated sediment redistribution are key environmental problems in Central *** land uses and management practices,such as intensive grazing and crop cultivation,are considered to be significantly driving and accelerating these *** research focuses on the identification of suitable soil tracers from hot spots of land degradation and sediment fate in an agricultural catchment of central Argentina with erodible loess *** Energy Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence(EDXRF),elemental concentrations were determined and later used as soil tracers for geochemical *** best set of tracers were identified using two artificial mixtures composed of known proportions of soil sources collected from different lands having contrasting soil ***,calcium,iron,phosphorus,and titanium were identified for obtaining the best suitable reconstruction of source proportions in the laboratory-prepared artificial ***,these elements,as well as the total organic carbon,were applied for pinpointing critical hot spots of erosion within the studied *** were identified to be the main source of sediments,river banks and dirt roads together are the second most important *** investigation provides key information for optimizing soil conservation strategies and selecting land management practices and land uses which do not generate great contribution of sediment,preventing pollution of the waterways of the region.

We study summing multipliers from Banach spaces of analytic functions on the unit disc of the complex plane to the complex Banach sequence lattices. The domain spaces are abstract variants of the classical Hardy spaces generated by the complex symmetric spaces. Applying interpolation methods, we prove the Hausdorff Young and Hardy-Littlewood type theorems. We show applications of these results to study summing multipliers from the Hardy-Orlicz spaces to the Orlicz sequence lattices. The obtained results extend the well-known results for the Hp spaces.

In tropical and subtropical forest ecosystems,cavities formed by decay processes are a key but scarce resource for birds that nest and roost in them,which makes them a highly sensitive group to *** piedmont forest of northwestern Argentina is a complex ecosystem with 113 tree and 120 bird *** has high logging pressure on the few,well-conserved forest remnants,complicating the delineation of sustainable management guidelines for each tree or bird species in a short *** objective was to reduce the complexity of subtropical forests by grouping tree species according to the characteristics used by secondary cavity-nesting birds(*** excavators).In the piedmont forest,50 plots of 0.25 ha were sampled to record cavity trees and cavity *** were then used in a cluster analysis to form tree ***,cavities were searched to identify the bird species using the decay-formed cavities.A total of 187 cavity trees,comprising 23 tree species,were recorded,and these formed four tree groups or *** recorded 86 cavities that were used by secondary cavitynesting bird *** four tree groups were unequally used by secondary cavity *** tree group that included valuable timber species(Myroxylon peruiferum,Anadenanthera colubrina and Calycophyllum multiflorum)and had the greatest cavity availability represented 71%of total cavity *** tree group with valuable timber species(Cedrela balansae and Amburana cearensis),measured>73 cm DBH and>21 m tall,had cavity entrances>0.10 cm2,and contributed 14%of all cavity use by birds.A third group had no highly economically valuable tree species,and included the snag category(*** dead trees)as well as a 15%of cavity *** fourth tree group had a DBHnly one highly economically valuable tree species(Cordia trichotoma),and supported no cavity *** clustering of subtropical trees can reduce the complexity of these forests,hence easing their management by

Objective: This systematic review aimed to critically analyze the literature to determine how high-intensity intermittent training(HIIT) affects recreational endurance runners in the short-and ***: Electronic databases were searched for literature dating from January 2000 to October 2015. The search was conducted using the key words "high-intensity intermittent training" or "high-intensity interval exercise" or "interval running" or "sprint interval training" and "endurance runners" or "long distance runners". A systematic approach was used to evaluate the 783 articles identified for initial review. Studies were included if they investigated HIIT in recreational endurance runners. The methodological quality of the studies was evaluated using the Physiotherapy Evidence Database(PEDro) scale(for intervention studies) and the modified Downs and Black Quality Index(for cross-sectional studies).Results: Twenty-three studies met the inclusionary criteria for review. The results are presented in 2 parts: cross-sectional(n = 15) and intervention studies(n = 8). In the 15 cross-sectional studies selected, endurance runners performed at least 1 HIIT protocol, and the acute impact on physiological, neuromuscular, metabolic and/or biomechanical variables was assessed. Intervention studies lasted a minimum of 4 weeks, with 10 weeks being the longest intervention period, and included 2 to 4 HIIT sessions per week. Most of these studies combined HIIT sessions with continuous run(CR) sessions; 2 studies' subjects performed HIIT ***: HIIT-based running plans(2 to 3 HIIT sessions per week, combining HIIT and CR runs) show athletic performance improvements in endurance runners by improving maximal oxygen uptake and running economy along with muscular and metabolic adaptations. To maximize the adaptations to training, both HIIT and CR must be part of training programs for endurance runners.
