Some cities worldwide have oil wells directly affecting the management of the territory.For example,La Libertad and Salinas districts contain 467 oil wells in urban areas representing a major land-use planning challenge.The objective is to apply the cLUE-S land use model in coastal cities with oil wells(Salinas-La Libertad),using geographic information systems considering environmental and security characteristics for territorial development.The stages of the study are:i)classification and categorisation of oil wells;ii)application of the GIS-cLUE-S method and visualisation of land use dynamics;iii)use the SWOT-TOWS matrix,for the analysis of the situation and the main factors affecting the territory.The results indicate high vulnerability in many urban sectors and those close to the coastline.Furthermore,the cLUE-S analysis shows that the population growth in the urban sector is close to oil well areas,making it a complex pole of human-industry interaction that impacts the management of the territory.This study synthesises three technical aspects:some oil wells do not comply with municipal ordinance regulations;identification of vulnerable zones due to environmental and security factors,which recommends a territorial reordering policy;as well as an education plan for the application of territorial ordering policies,with awareness and sustainability projections.

Arroyo Verde epithermal deposit, in the North Patagonia region of Argentina, is located within the Lower chon Aike Volcanism and is developed between 192.6±2.5 Ma (mineralization host rock)and189.5±2.6Ma(overlyinglava).Marifil Volcaniccomplexisthehostrockfortheseveins,veinletsandbreccias.Thisparticularsmalldeposithasdevelopedlowtointermediatesulphidation characteristics, with gangue mineral textures associated with several ore minerals. Electron probe microanalysisdetermineselectrum,silvermineralssuchasacanthite,andtetrahedrite,relatedAg-cu minerals like jalpaite, mckinstryite, stromeyerite, and base metals like chalcopyrite, sphalerite, galena andpyrite.FluidinclusionsinquartzoftwooutoffiveeventsindicatethattheselowJurassicveins were formed due to subtle boiling and dilution mechanisms and by low-salinity (3.4 wt.%to 6.7 wt.%Nacl Eq) magmatic-hydrothermal fluid at 225 to 310°c. The fluid inclusion measurements that indicate boiling (Event 3) were plotted, and based on this data, we interpret that the Arroyo Verde deposit has been eroded between 550 and 700 m. This particular character has not been previously recorded for other sectors of the eastern north Patagonian region.

Oxidative stress,inflammation,and gut microbiota impairments have been implicated in the development and maintenance of diabetes mellitus.Strategies capable of recovering the community of commensal gut microbiota and controlling diabetes mellitus have increased in recent years.Some lactobacilli strains have an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory system capable of protecting against oxidative stress,inflammation,and diabetes mellitus.Experimental studies and some clinical trials have demonstrated that Limosilactobacillus fermentum strains can beneficially modulate the host antioxidant and anti-inflammatory system,resulting in the amelioration of glucose homeostasis in diabetic conditions.This review presents and discusses the currently available studies on the identification of Limosilactobacillus fermentum strains with anti-diabetic properties,their sources,range of dosage,and the intervention time in experiments with animals and clinical trials.This review strives to serve as a relevant and well-cataloged reference of Limosilactobacillus fermentum strains capable of inducing anti-diabetic effects and promoting health benefits.

Aim:Several cationic radiotracers originally developed as myocardial perfusion agents have shown potential for both early detection of cancer and non-invasive monitoring of multiple drug resistance(MDR)by single photon emission computed tomography.We have introduced two cationic complexes,^(99m)Tc-DMEOP[di-methoxy-tris-pyrazolyl-^(99m)Tc-(cO)_(3)]and ^(99m)Tc-TMEOP[tri-methoxy-tris-pyrazolyl-^(99m)Tc-(cO)_(3)],which showed excellent preclinical results as cardiac imaging probes,namely a persistent heart uptake with rapid blood and liver clearance.This study aimed at the evaluation of their usefulness for tumoral detection and functional assessment of MDR.Methods:The uptake and efflux kinetics of ^(99m)Tc-DMEOP and ^(99m)Tc-TMEOP were evaluated in human prostate,lung,and breast cancer cell lines,including drug-resistant cell lines that are known to overexpress the MDR P-glycoprotein(Pgp).The effects of MDR modulators were also studied.In vivo studies were performed in xenografted tumor models,and the MDR phenotype of the tumors was confirmed by Western blot.Results:The uptake kinetics of both complexes in human cancer cell lines is comparable with the one found for ^(99m)Tc-Sestamibi,increasing over time.The uptake of ^(99m)Tc-TMEOP is greatly reduced in cells overexpressing Pgp and increased in the presence of a Pgp modulator.In nude mice,the tumor uptake of ^(99m)Tc-TMEOP was higher in the McF-7 xenografts compared with the McF7 Pgp tumors.conclusion:The uptake kinetics of both complexes in human cancer cell lines is comparable with the one found for ^(99m)Tc-Sestamibi,increasing over time.The uptake of ^(99m)Tc-TMEOP is greatly reduced in cells overexpressing Pgp,and increased in the presence of a Pgp modulator.In nude mice,the tumor uptake of ^(99m)Tc-TMEOP was higher in the McF-7 xenografts compared with the McF7 Pgp tumors.

Then, we prove prevalence of trivial spectrum near the dynamical cocycle of an area-preserving map and also for generic cocycles in AUtLeb（M） × LP（M, SL（d, R））.

Background:The characterization of surface and canopy fuel loadings in fire-prone pine ecosystems is critical for understanding fire behavior and anticipating the most harmful ecological effects of fire.Nevertheless,the joint consideration of both overstory and understory strata in burn severity assessments is often dismissed.The aim of this work was to assess the role of total,overstory and understory pre-fire aboveground biomass(AGB),estimated by means of airborne Light Detection and Ranging(LiDAR)and Landsat data,as drivers of burn severity in a megafire occurred in a pine ecosystem dominated by Pinus pinaster Ait.in the western Mediterranean Basin.Results:Total and overstory AGB were more accurately estimated(R^(2) equal to 0.72 and 0.68,respectively)from LiDAR and spectral data than understory AGB(R^(2)=0.26).Density and height percentile LiDAR metrics for several strata were found to be important predictors of AGB.Burn severity responded markedly and non-linearly to total(R^(2)=0.60)and overstory(R ^(2)=0.53)AGB,whereas the relationship with understory AGB was weaker(R ^(2)=0.21).Nevertheless,the overstory plus understory AGB contribution led to the highest ability to predict burn severity(RMSE=122.46 in dNBR scale),instead of the joint consideration as total AGB(RMSE=158.41).conclusions:This study novelty evaluated the potential of pre-fire AGB,as a vegetation biophysical property derived from LiDAR,spectral and field plot inventory data,for predicting burn severity,separating the contri-bution of the fuel loads in the understory and overstory strata in Pinus pinaster stands.The evidenced relationships between burn severity and pre-fire AGB distribution in Pinus pinaster stands would allow the implementation of threshold criteria to support decision making in fuel treatments designed to minimize crown fire hazard.

Fire and pre-or post-fire management practices shape the distribution and richness of plant species.Here,the effects of pre-and post-fire management on vegetation recovery were studied at different times,up to 18 months after a wildfire.Two months after a 2015 wildfire,18 study plots were established(three 4-m^2 plots for each treatment),vegetation regrowth was monitored and vegetal species richness(S),evenness(IT),density(D),diversity(H0)and maximum diversity(HMax)after 2,10 and 18 months.The treatments were(1)control,unaffected by 2015 wildfire;(2)no treatment(NT),burned in 2015 wildfire and not managed;(3)managed in 2005 and burned in 2015(M05B);(4)managed in 2015,2 months before wildfire(M15B);(5)cut and manual removal after the 2015 wildfire(cR);(6)cut and no trunk removal randomly deposited on topsoil after the 2015 wildfire(cL).All the treatments were carried out in a Pinus halepensis Miller forest.At 10 and 18 months after the wildfire,vegetation recovery was greater in NT,cR and cL plots than in M05B and M15B the plots.By 18 months after the wildfire,Brachypodium retusum(Pers.)P.Beauv.and Rosmarinus officinalis L.were still dominant,especially in M15B,corroborating the belief that pre-fire treatment reduced ecosystem resilience and vegetal recovery compared to the NT and post-fire managed plots.Richness was significantly lower 10 months after wildfire in control plots,and IT was significantly higher in that inventory than previously in M15B.Eighteen months after the wildfire,H0 was significantly lower in M15B.Ten months post-wildfire,HMax was significantly lower in the control plots.Eighteen months after the wildfire,HMax,was significantly higher in cR,cL and M05B than in the control and M15B plots.Overall,pre-fire management was detrimental to post-fire vegetation recovery,while manual post-fire management proved beneficial.

In a global dynamic analysis,the coexisting attractors and their basins are the main tools to understand the system behavior and safety.However,both basins and attractors can be drastically influenced by uncertainties.The aim of this work is to illustrate a methodology for the global dynamic analysis of nondeterministic dynamical systems with competing attractors.Accordingly,analytical and numerical tools for calculation of nondeterministic global structures,namely attractors and basins,are proposed.First,based on the definition of the Perron-Frobenius,Koopman and Foias linear operators,a global dynamic description through phase-space operators is presented for both deterministic and nondeterministic cases.In this context,the stochastic basins of attraction and attractors’distributions replace the usual basin and attractor concepts.Then,numerical implementation of these concepts is accomplished via an adaptative phase-space discretization strategy based on the classical Ulam method.Sample results of the methodology are presented for a canonical dynamical system.
