How does parents’social support impact children’s health practice?Examining a mediating role of health knowledge

Background Family environmental factors play a vital role in shaping children’s health practices(e.g.,obesity pre-vention).It is still unclear how parents’social support affects children’s obesity-related health *** present study argues that whether parents’social support positively associates with children’s obesity-related health practice depends on if it could promote parents’obesity-related health ***,we hypothesize that health knowl-edge mediates the relationship between parents’social support and children’s health practice regarding weight *** To test the hypothesis,we conducted a questionnaire survey and collected a nationally representative sample of 1488 household responses in *** survey included questions about parents’social support,health knowledge,children’s health practices,and socio-demographic *** participants have at least one child 14 years old or *** the sample,66.1%of the respondents are female,and 93.7%are below 50 years *** equation modeling(SEM)via Stata was used to examine the associations between parents’social support,health knowledge,and children’s health *** The results of our analysis support our ***,(1)parents’social support shows a positive relationship with health knowledge(Coef.=0.17,p<0.001 for BMI knowledge and Coef.=0.18,p<0.001 for nutrition knowledge);(2)parents’social support(total effect of social support=0.081,p=0.071)and health knowledge positively associate with children’s obesity-related health practice(coefficient of BMI knowledge=0.10,p<0.01;coefficient of nutrition knowledge=0.31,p<0.001);and(3)the effects of parents’social support on children’s health practice is fully mediated by parents’health knowledge(mediating effect=100%,p=0.007).Conclusion The present study provides fresh evidence from a multicultural context to understand the relationships between parents’social support,health knowledge,and children’s obes

instability associated Land cover change can lead to slope by accelerating erosive processes with agriculture, forestry, and infrastructure. The Rio Chiquito-Barranca del Muerto subbasin has experienced an increase in land cover change due to government programs and the establishment of agricultural and urban areas. The aim of this study was to provide a model to map the susceptibility to gravitational processes along sites where anthropogenic land cover change has occurred. The method was based on the stratification of the subbasin according to landforms and cartographic variables. These variables were used in a multi- criteria assessment to assign weights according to their contribution to the onset of new gravitationalprocesses. Those weights were used to create a susceptibility map based on a weighted linear sum. The accuracy of the resulting map was validated in an error matrix with a random stratified design based on susceptibility classes per landform. The results produced a map of areas with susceptibility to gravitational processes due to land cover change; this susceptibility is very high in the undifferentiated pyroclastic slope and limestone mountain, where it derives not only from anthropogenie effects on natural vegetation cover, but also from steep slopes, weathered materials, low apparent density, high erosivity, and previous gravitational processes. The results support other studies that concluded that loss of vegetation is a triggering factor in the formation of gravitational processes, but also show that excessive reforestation can increase gravitational processes.

In this paper,we analyse an analytical solution of the Einstein–Maxwell field equations that considers matter with anisotropic pressures in a static and spherically symmetric *** report the manner in which we obtained the solution,which is by means of the Karmarkar *** the model,we assume a state equation that describes the interaction of matter from quarks P=(c^(2)ρ-4B_(g))/3 and we consider the presence of electric charge,which can generate that the radial and tangential pressures are not *** a graphic manner,we analyse the physical properties of the model,taking as the observational data those of mass 1M⊙and radius7.69 km which were reported for the star Her *** charge values are found between 5.57×10^(18)C≤Q≤1.31×10^(20)C and the interval of the Bag constant Bg∈[118.7,122.13]MeV/fm^(3).Also,we show the stability of the configuration by means of the static stability criteria of Harrison–Zeldovich–Novikov((?M)/?ρc>0),as well as in regards to infinitesimal radial adiabatic perturbation,since the adiabatic indexγ>3.3 which guarantees the stability of the solution.

In this report we present the generalization of a solution to Einstein's equations with perfect fluid for the case of Einstein–Maxwell with perfect *** effect of the charge is reflected by a parameter,ν,and its interval is determined by the positivity condition from the pressure in the interior of the *** is shown that the solution is stable according to the Zeldovich criteria as well as in relation to the criteria of the adiabatic *** compactness,u=GM/c^(2)R,of this charged model is greater than it is for the chargeless case as a result of the effect of the presence of the *** allows it to represent stars with a high compactness,in particular a graphic analysis is presented for the star SAX J1808.4-3658 with mass M=1.435M_(⊙)and radius R=7.07 *** these data and employing the solution,we obtain that the total maximum charge for the star is Q=2.4085×10^(20)C.

The introduction of virtual reality (VR)-models in the city planning process will cause changes in the traditional roles of the involved parties. In order to better understand some of these changes, the events involving the use of VR-models in an architectural competition concerning rebuilding-proposals for the city library in a Swedish city were analyzed. The study shows that VR was introduced into the competition as an extra add-on and that the VR-presentation was experienced as useful by the jury. The transformation of the architects’ contributions into VR was experienced as problematic by the architects, partly because they lost full control over the presentation. In the future architects are likely to have to produce the VR-models for their proposals themselves. This may make it more difficult for smaller architectural firms to enter the market but their proposals will be more accessible to a wider group of stakeholders.

The textures and microstructures of hot- and cold-rolled sheets of an AA 5454 aluminium alloy were studied， with special attention paid to comparing the texture development for the symmetric and asymmetric cold rolling. Scanning electron microscopy with electron-backscatter diffraction was used to monitor the development of the microstructure in the differently deformed and additionally annealed samples. Details of the formations and transformations of individual texture components occurring during the rolling processes were observed and discussed. The average grain sizes， textures and mechanical properties were correlated and explained for the symmetric and asymmetric cold-rolled samples. The asymmetric rolling is beneficial in terms of deep drawability because it reduces the planar anisotropy of the annealed material due to the decrease of the Cube， Goss， Rotated Cube and η- fibre texture components and the same time strengthens X1- and X2-fibre texture components which are shear texture components and improve deep drawability. During the asymmetric cold rolling， the temperature increases due to friction， triggering recrystallisation processes and leading to larger grains. It was also confirmed that asymmetric cold rolling uses less rolling force and consequently less energy to produce a final material with better formability， particularly earing.

The main goal of this paper is to examine the economic relations of the Republic of Congo in its bilateral cooperation with China and to see its real implications in the Congolese economy. In other words, this paper is going to highlight the real status of the Republic of Congo in the recent intensification of cooperation with the Middle Kingdom. Indeed, China has always been criticized as a predator of African raw materials by its opponents （traditional partners of Africa）. Thus, in the Congolese context, the authors try to analyze and see whether this cooperation has corroborated that anti-thesis or not. After examining various facets of Chinese interventions in Congo, the authors conclude that： The cooperation between these two countries is a kind of cooperation for the modernization and industrialization of the Congo, which is now developing in a satisfactory way. It brings real benefits to people of both countries, and it is also welcomed by both of them. Congo and China are bound by a traditional friendship, they have cooperated with each other since 1964, and both countries must be determined to further strengthen this cooperation to achieve a common development. It should also be noted that China is first and foremost a strategic partner of development for the Congo because of the positive results recorded by its actions in different areas of its operations in that country. The authors have also noted some pitfalls and have made some suggestions accordingly, in order to enhance the performance of cooperation between the two countries. It is particularly in terms of the transfer of technology, compliance with the regulations in force in Congo by Chinese enterprises, the adjustments made by China concerning the training of Congolese students who receive scholarships from the Chinese government for their training in China and on Chinese language, and finally the area of diversification of production, it is worth pointing out that the Congo only exports its main

The effect of NaCl with or without silicon on the growth and metabolism in rice seedlings cv. MTU1010 was studied. In these seedlings, the oxidative stress has been observed with NaCl treatments and the levels of proline, H2O2 and malondialdehyde contents were increased whereas catalase activity was decreased. NaCl exposure at 25 mM, 50 mM and 100 mM concentrations in the test seedlings resulted in an increase in both reducing and non-reducing sugar content. There was a decrease in starch contents and the activity of starch phosphorylase was increased. NaCl stress also affected the activities of different carbohydrate metabolizing enzymes. The activities of sucrose synthase and sucrose phosphate synthase were increased, while the activity of acid invertase was decreased. Joint application of silicon with NaCl showed significant alterations on all parameters tested under the purview of NaCl treatment alone leading to better growth and metabolism in rice seedlings. Thus the use of silicon enriched fertilizers may help to grow healthy rice plants in NaCl rich soil.

The effect of selenate (Na2SeO4) and sulphate (Na2SO4) was studied on growth and metabolism in two rice cultivars cv. satabdi and cv. khitish. Selenate at low concentration (2 μM) expressed growth promoting effect on rice seedlings as opposed to its high concentration (≥20 μM) where the test seedlings showed stunted growth with browning at the apices of both roots and shoots. The chlorophyll contents showed a dose dependent effect. Both chlorophyll a and chlorophyll b contents were inhibited with increase in selenate concentrations. The effect was more pronounced in cv. satabdi compared to cv. *** level of accessory pigments was deferentially affected by selenium treatment. Simultaneously, the fluorescence intensity and Hill activity decreased with increase in selenate concentrations in the test seedlings. It is assumed that selenium plays a protective role in plants subjected to stress and prevents the formation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in the cells. Higher selenate concentrations (≥20 μM) exerted variable effect on the activities of enzymatic antioxidants viz.;superoxide dismutase (SOD), catechol peroxidase (CPX) and catalase (CAT) in the test seedlings. The activity of SOD increased with increase in selenate concentrations, whereas activities of CAT and CPX decreased. Under high selenate concentrations, the levels of oxidative stress markers, viz.;proline, H2O2 and MDA were also enhanced. Selenium induced accumulation of total soluble sugar and increased the level of both reducing and non reducing sugars in both the test cultivars. The starch contents concomitantly decreased with rise in selenate concentrations. Moreover, the nutrient contents of test seedlings were significantly influenced by selenium. The Na and K levels gradually increased whereas Ca, Mg and Fe levels decreased on application of selenate.
