The Chinese Prose Poem is a well-crafted, critical, and interpretive analysis of Lu Xun＇s Wild Grass （ Yecaa5. In addition to standing as its own critical interpretation, The Chinese Prose Poem is also a well annotated bibliographical reference for interpretations of Lu Xun＇s prose poem collection. Nicholas A. Kaldis draws convincingly on the literary interpretive strategy of Walter A. Davis and is informed by Freudian psychology and Nietzschean symbolism （an interest of Lu Xun＇s）, which the author weaves into his close readings of Lu Xun＇s prose poems themselves.

Background:Physical activity(PA)is important for cancer *** of remotely delivered interventions are needed to assist in reaching under-served non-metropolitan cancer *** objective of this study was to ascertain whether wearable technology,coupled with health coaching was effective in increasing PA in breast and colorectal cancer survivors living in regional and remote areas in ***:Cancer survivors from 5 states were randomized to intervention and control *** participants were given a Fitbit Charge 2TMand received up to 6 telephone health coaching *** participants received PA print *** assessments at baseline and 12 weeks measured moderate-to-vigorous PA(MVPA),light PA,and sedentary ***:Eighty-seven participants were recruited(age=63±11 years;74(85%)female).There was a significant net improvement in MVPA of 49.8 min/week,favoring the intervention group(95%confidence interval(95%CI):13.6-86.1,p=0.007).There was also a net increase in MVPA bouts of 39.5 min/week(95%CI:11.9-67.1,p=0.005),favoring the intervention *** groups improved light PA and sedentary behavior,but there were no between-group ***:This’s the first study to demonstrate that,when compared to standard practice(i.e.,PA education),a wearable technology intervention coupled with distance-based health coaching,improves MVPA in non-metropolitan cancer *** results display promise for the use of scalable interventions using smart wearable technology in conjunction with phone-based health coaching to foster increased PA in geographically disadvantaged cancer survivors.

保罗·A.巴兰(paul ***)和保罗·M.斯威齐(paul ***)于1966年出版的《垄断资本》系美国乃至全球发展马克思主义政治经济学的奠基性著作之一且至今仍被奉为经典。该书出版深受巴兰离世的影响,尽管所有章节均已草成且多次讨论,但两位作者尚未就某些关键性问题达成共识,从而正式出版的著作中留有两章没有发表,其中一章即是作为《垄断资本》理论章的《一些理论含义》。本文在对缺失理论章加以说明的基础上,阐述了缺失理论章的主要论点以回应巴兰和斯威齐为何以及在何种程度上在某些关键性问题上尚未达成共识,并从学界围绕《垄断资本》所存争论的角度考察了缺失理论章的当代价值,指出巴兰和斯威齐通过把马克思主义政治经济学同垄断资本主义阶段的重大变化相结合从而为理解垄断资本主义提供了极具革命性价值的崭新视角。

Attitudes Towards Shoplifting： A Preliminary Cross-cultural Study of Consumers

The aim of this paper is to explore the consumers’ attitudes towards shoplifting from a cross-cultural perspective. The research questions are: 1. What may influence offenders to engage in shoplifting? 2. To which extent consumer attitudes towards shoplifting might reflect cultural issues? The study adopted a quantitative approach to data collection and was conducted in two stages including different retail contexts. Preliminary analysis of 529 questionnaire responses from UK, US, and Libyan consumers finds that attitudes towards shoplifting are broadly similar despite the different cultural and retail contexts therefore this study reinforces the view that ethical behaviour is culturally bound. However, on closer inspection these findings suggest interesting disparities among the countries in relation to specific attitudes towards the consequences of shoplifting, the impact it has on the social networks of the perpetrator and whether the demographics of the shoplifter play a role in the decision to punish the offender. It also suggests that attitudes towards shoplifting are complex and context specific making it particularly problematic for international retailers to implement universal shoplifting preventative measures.

AIM To characterize antiviral therapy eligibility among hepatitis B virus(HBV)-infected adults at a university hospital in *** Hepatitis B surface antigen-positive adults(n = 160) who were h IV-negative and referred to the hospital after a routine or clinically-driven HBV test were enrolled. Alanine Aminotransferase(ALT),Aspartate Aminotransferase(AST),platelet count,hepatitis B e-antigen,and HBV DNA were measured. Liver fibrosis/cirrhosis was assessed by physical examination,AST-to-platelet ratio index,and transient elastography. In antiviral therapy-na?ve individuals,we described hBV stages and antiviral therapy eligibility per World health Organization(WhO) and by hBV test(routine vs clinical). Elevated ALT was > 19 in women and > 30 U/L in men. Among treatmentexperienced individuals,we described medication side effects,adherence,and viral *** The median age was 33 years,71.9% were men,and 30.9% were diagnosed with HBV through a clinicallydriven test with the remainder identified via routine testing(at the blood bank,community events,etc.). Among 120 treatment-na?ve individuals,2.5% were categorized as immune tolerant,11.7% were immune active,35.6% were inactive carriers,and 46.7% had an indeterminate phenotype. Per WhO guidelines,13(10.8%) were eligible for immediate antiviral therapy. The odds of eligibility were eight times higher for those diagnosed at clinical vs routine settings(adjusted odds ratio,8.33; 95%CI: 2.26-29.41). Among 40 treatmentexperienced hBV patients,virtually all took tenofovir,and a history of mild side effects was reported in 20%. Though reported adherence was good,12 of 29(41.4%) had HBV DNA > 20 IU/m L. CONCLUSION Approximately one in ten HBV-monoinfected Zambians were eligible for antivirals. Many had indeterminate phenotype and needed clinical follow-up.
