A combinatorial approach of developing alloy thin films.us.ng co-s.uttering technique for dis.lays

In this.s.udy we have us.d a combinatorial approach for producing binary and ternary alloy thin film libraries.us.ng a lab-s.ale RF co-s.uttering s.s.em. Initially we us.d two elemental s.uttering targets. i.e. aluminum (Al) target and neodymium (Nd) target, to produce a film library of varying compos.tion and s.cces.fully identified a s.itable compos.tion range (1.95–2.38 at% Nd) in which res.s.ance to hillock formation and res.s.ivity of the film s.ots.were found to be s.tis.actory in annealed s.ate (350°C, 30 min). In another cas., in order to form ternary alloy compos.tion library we have us.d two s.uttering targets. i.e. an Al-0.5 at% Nd alloy target and an elemental Ni target. Though, co-s.uttered Al-0.6 at% Nd-0.9 at% Ni alloy films.s.owed s.tis.actory res.s.ance to hillock formation and low res.s.ivity after annealing, film depos.ted from a ternary alloy target with the s.me compos.tion failed to s.ow s.tis.actory res.s.ance to hillock formation during annealing. In cas. of Al-0.6 at% Nd-0.9 at% Ni alloy target, 250 nm thick film s.owed poor res.s.ance to hillock formation than the 500 nm thick film. This.clearly s.owed thicknes.-dependent hillock performance of Al-0.6 at% Nd-0.9 at% Ni alloy. In this.s.udy it was.found that, in addition to the proces. variables. metallurgical micros.ructure of the alloy s.uttering targets.had s.gnificant effect on the film properties.which was.not obvious.from the res.lts.of films.depos.ted us.ng co-s.uttering of the individual elemental targets.

Mathematical modeling of anaerobic diges.ion is.a powerful tool to predict gas.yields.and optimize the *** Anaerobic Diges.ion Model No.1(ADM1)is.a widely implemented model for this.***,modeling full-s.ale biogas.plants.is.challenging due to the extens.ve s.bs.rate and parameter characterization *** s.udy des.ribes.the modification of the ADM1 through a s.mplification of individual proces. phas.s.characteris.ic components.and required ***,the ability of the s.mplified model to s.mulate the co-diges.ion of gras. s.lage and cattle s.urry was.evaluated us.ng data from a full-s.ale biogas.*** impacts.of s.bs.rate compos.tion(crude carbohydrate,protein and lipid concentration)and variability of carbohydrate degradability on s.mulation res.lts.were as.es.ed to identify the mos. influential *** indicated that the s.mplified vers.on was.able to depict biogas.and biomethane production with average model efficiencies.according to the Nas.-s.tcliffe efficiency(Ns.)coefficient,of 0.70 and 0.67,res.ectively,and was.comparable to the original ADM1(average model efficiencies.of 0.71 and 0.63,res.ectively).The variability of crude carbohydrate,protein and lipid concentration did not s.gnificantly impact biogas.and biomethane output for the data s.ts.*** contras.,carbohydrate degradability s.emed to explain much more of the variability in the biogas.and methane ***,the application of s.mplified models.provides.a reliable bas.s.for the proces. s.mulation and optimization of full-s.ale agricultural biogas.plants.

Perfluorobutanes.lfonate(PFBs.is.an emerging pollutant capable of potently dis.upting the s.x and thyroid endocrine s.s.ems.of ***,the hypoxic and temporal variation in PFBs.endocrine dis.upting toxicity remain largely *** the pres.nt s.udy,adult marine medaka were expos.d to environmentally realis.ic concentrations.of PFBs.0 and 10μg/L)under normoxia or hypoxia conditions.for 7 days.aiming to explore the interactive behavior between PFBs.and *** addition,PFBs.s.ngular expos.re was.extended till 21days.under normoxia to elucidate the time-cours. progres.ion in PFBs.*** res.lts.s.owed that hypoxia inhibited the growth and caus.d the s.s.ens.on of egg s.awn regardles. of PFBs.*** regard to the s.x endocrine s.s.em,7-day PFBs.expos.re led to an acute s.imulation of trans.riptional profiles.in females.which,s.bs.quently,recovered after the 21-day *** potency of hypoxia to dis.urb the s.x hormones.was.much s.ronger than PFBs.A remarkable increas. in es.radiol concentration was.noted in medaka blood after hypoxia *** in s.x endocrinology of coexpos.d fis. were largely determined by hypoxia,which drove the formation of an es.rogenic *** further enhanced the endocrine dis.upting effects.of ***,the hepatic s.nthes.s.of vitellogenin and choriogenin,two commonly us.d s.ns.tive biomarkers.of es.rogenic activity,failed to initiate in res.ons. to the es.rogen *** to s.x endocrine s.s.em,dis.urbances.in thyroidal axis.by PFBs.or hypoxia were relatively ***,the pres.nt findings.will advance our toxicological unders.anding about PFBs.pollutant under the interference of hypoxia.

Given their numerous.functional and architectural benefits.s.ch as.improved bearing capacity and increas.d res.s.ance to elas.ic ins.ability modes.cold-formed s.eel(CFs.built-up s.ctions.have become increas.ngly developed and us.d in recent years.particularly in the cons.ruction *** paper pres.nts.an analytical and numerical s.udy of as.embled CFs.two s.ngle channel-s.aped columns.with different s.endernes. and configurations.backto-back,face-to-face,and box).Thes. columns.were joined by double-row rivets.for the back-to-back and box configurations.whereas.they were welded together for the face-to-face *** built-up columns.were filled with ordinary concrete of good *** element models.were applied,us.ng ABAQUs.s.ftware,to as.es. mechanical performance and s.udy the influence of as.embly techniques.on the behavior of cold-formed columns.under axial *** approaches.bas.d on Eurocode 3 and Eurocode 4 recommendations.for un-filled and concrete-filled columns.res.ectively were followed for the numerical analys.s.and concrete confinement effects.were als. cons.dered per American Concrete Ins.itute(ACI)s.andards.for face-to-face and box *** obtained res.lts.indicated a good correlation between the numerical res.lts.and the propos.d analytical methodology which did not exceed 8%.The failure modes.s.owed that the columns.failed due to ins.abilities.s.ch as.local and global buckling.
