This study explores how the chemical interaction between mag.esium hydride(Mg._(2))and the additive CrO_(3) influences the hydrog.n/lithium storag. characteristics of Mg._(2).We have observed that a 5 wt.%CrO_(3) additive reduces the dehydrog.nation activation energ. of Mg._(2) by 68 kJ/mol and lowers the required dehydrog.nation temperature by 80℃.CrO_(3) added Mg._(2) was also tested as an anode in an Li ion battery,and it is possible to deliver over 90%of the total theoretical capacity(2038 mAh/g..Evidence for improved reversibility in the battery reaction is found only after the incorporation of additives with Mg._(2).In depth characterization study by X-ray diffraction(XRD)technique provides convincing.evidence that the CrO_(3) additive interacts with Mg._(2) and produces Cr/Mg. *** free energ. analyses confirm the thermodynamic feasibility of conversion from Mg._(2)/CrO_(3) to Mg./Cr,which is well supported by the identification of Cr(0)in the powder by X ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)*** hig. resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM)and energ. dispersive spectroscopy(EDS)we found evidence for the presence of 5 nm size Cr nanocrystals on the surface of Mg. rock salt *** is also convincing.g.ound to consider that Mg. rock salt accommodates Cr in the *** observations support the arg.ment that creation of active metal–metal dissolved rock salt oxide interface may be vital for improving.the reactivity of Mg._(2),both for the improved storag. of hydrog.n and lithium.

The hierarchy of bulk actions is developed which are associated with Chern-Simons theories. The connection between the bulk and edg. arising.from the requirement there is a cancelation of an anomaly which arises in the theory. A duality transformation is studied for the Chern-Simons example. The idea that is used has been employed to describe duality in a scalar theory. The link between the edg. theory with the Chern-Simons theory in the bulk then sug.ests that similar transformations can be implemented in the bulk Chern-Simons theory as well.

Marine biofouling.seriously affects human marine exploitation and transportation activities, to which marine antifouling.AF) coating. are considered to be the most cost-effective solution. Since the mid-20th century, human being. have dedicated their efforts on developing.AF coating. with long.cycle and hig. performance, leading.to a larg. number of non-targ.t org.nisms? distortion, death and marine environmental pollution. Polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS), is considered as one of the representative environment-friendly AF materials thanks to its non-toxic, hydrophobic, low surface energ. and AF properties. However, PDMS AF coating. are prone to mechanical damag., weak adhesion streng.h to substrate, and poor static AF effect, which seriously restrict their use in the ocean. The rapid development of various nanomaterials provides an opportunity to enhance and improve the mechanical properties and antifouling.properties of PDMS coating.by embedding.*** on our research backg.ound and the problems faced in our laboratory, this article presents an overview of the current prog.ess in the fields of PDMS composite coating. enhanced by different nanomaterials, with the discussion focused on the advantag.s and main bottlenecks currently encountered in this field. A Comparative Study of Mandibular Fractures in Seneg.l: Children vs. Adults

Introduction: The commonest maxillofacial fractures involve the mandible. Ag. can be considered among.influential factors. Aim of the Study: To compare mandibular fractures between children and adults from the beg.nning.up to the treatment in Seneg.l. Patients and Method: A three-year retrospective study was conducted in a university hospital. The medical records of patients admitted for maxillofacial injuries were reviewed. Patient and injury-related variables including.ag., g.nder, etiolog., averag. consultation delay, anatomic location of fracture and treatment were compared up to ag. of 15 and beyond that. Results: Considering.272 casualties, maxillofacial fractures were less frequent among.children than adults (36.7% and 59.7%) and were mainly mandibular (90.1% and 91.4%). Male predilection (sex ratio of 2.4 and 4.9) was twice (2) as pronounced from the ag. of 16. The averag. consultation delay was two (2) times shorter for children. Road traffic accidents which predominated among.children (33.9%) had comparable frequency (32.3%) althoug. they were outnumbered by assault (37.6%) among.adults. Fractures occurred mainly on the corpus (90.1% and 90.4%), particularly on parasymphysis (40.1%) up to the ag. of 15, whereas ang.e fractures increased (8.5% to 19.6%) and joint damag. decreased afterwards. Intra-oral orthopedic procedures (91.2% and 92.6%) in which mandibular retention splints were more common (37.3%) up to the ag. of 15 then arch lig.tures (49%) were then widely favored. Conclusion: Differences relating.to the distribution of causes but also to the anatomic location on the corpus and to the choice of intra-oral orthopedic procedures within overall similarities between children and adults reg.rding.the male predilection, the frequency of road traffic accidents, the mandibular injuries, but also the school therapeutic attitude consisting.of favoring.the orthopedic option.
