This paper presents a driver behavior analysis using microscopic video data measures including vehicle speed, lane-changing ratio, and time to collision. An analytical f.amework was developed to evaluate the ef.ect of.adverse winter weather conditions on highway driving behavior based on automated （computer） and manual methods. The research was conducted through two case studies. The f.rst case study was conducted to evaluate the f.asibility of.applying an au- tomated approach to extracting driver behavior data based on 15 video recordings obtained in the winter 2013 at three dif. f.rent locations on the Don Valley Parkway in Toronto, Canada. A comparison was made between the automated approach and manual approach, and issues in collecting data using the automated approach under winter conditions were identif.ed. The second case study was based on high quality data collected in the winter 2014, at a location on Highway 25 in Montreal, Canada. The results demonstrate the ef.ectiveness of.the automated analytical f.amework in analyzing driver behavior, as well as evaluating the impact of.adverse winter weather conditions on driver behavior. This approach could be applied to evaluate winter maintenance strategies and crash risk on highways during adverse winter weather conditions.

Oklahoma phlox (Phlox oklahomensis Wherry) is endemic to Butler, Chautauqua, Comanche, Cowley, and Elk Counties of.Kansas and Woods and Woodward Counties of.Oklahoma. The species comprises populations of.a f.w scattered individuals to several hundred in mixed-grass prairie sites in Oklahoma where cow-calf.production is the common agricultural enterprise. It has successf.lly withstood periods of.short-term drought (1 to 4 years) under light to moderate continuous stocking rates (41 to 52 animal unit days per hectare). Under heavy continuous stocking rates and/or prolonged drought, populations of.P. oklahomensis tend to decrease in size and number and may disappear in some localities. Prolonged heavy stocking rates and drought will disrupt the reproductive cycle, severely limiting seed production and recruitment of.new individuals to populations. During drought periods, livestock managers should use lighter stocking rates or def.rred grazing to ensure rapid recovery of.all prairie plants, including P. oklahomensis, once the drought ends. This recommendation would likely sustain prairie sites during long-term (longer than 10 years) droughts as well.

In 1997, Hong Kong was the f.rst place to detect human inf.ctions due to this virus originated f.om birds. Electrogravitics and electrokinetics can be traced to T. Townsend Brown’s f.rst article “How I Control Gravity” (Science and Invention, 1929) with the unexplained alignment of.the “molecular gravitors”. Brown reported that the dielectrics had high propulsive f.rce when the “dif.erently charged elements” were aligned with the voltage source. Perhaps electrogravitics was also revealed in the article “Gravity Nullif.ed: Quartz Crystals Charged by High f.equency Currents Lose Their Weight” which appeared two years earlier in the same magazine in September of.1927. The editors had a change of.heart however, in the f.llowing issue, they rescinded the article. Much of.what we know about T. T. Brown is f.om his numerous patents and articles, reprinted inElectrogravitics Systems Volume I, by this author who was f.rtunate to correspond with him in 1981 when he was at the University of.f.orida. A sample of.his detailed correspondence is contained in the out-of.print book,?Ether-Technology:?A Rational Approach to Gravity-Control?by Rho Sigma (1977) and in the recent?Def.ing Gravity:?The Parallel Universe of.T. Townsend Brown,?paul Schatzkin, (2009, Embassy Books).
