Patie.ts and physicians unde.stand the.importance.of se.f-care.following spinal cord injury (SCI), ye. many individuals with SCI do not adhe.e.to re.omme.de. se.f-care.activitie. de.pite.logistical supports. Ne.robe.avioral de.e.minants of SCI se.f-care.be.avior, such as impulsivity, are.not wide.y studie., ye. unde.standing the. could inform e.forts to improve.SCI se.f-care. We.e.plore. associations be.we.n impulsivity and se.f-care.in an obse.vational study of 35 US adults age.18 - 50 who had traumatic SCI with paraple.ia at le.st six months be.ore.asse.sme.t. The.primary outcome.me.sure.was se.f-re.orte. se.f-care. In LASSO re.re.sion mode.s that include. all ne.robe.avioral me.sure. and de.ographics as pre.ictors of se.f-care. dispositional me.sure. of gre.te. impulsivity (ne.ative.urge.cy, lack of pre.e.itation, lack of pe.se.e.ance., and re.uce. mindfulne.s we.e.associate. with re.uce. se.f-care. Outcome.(magnitude. se.sitivity, a late.t de.ision-making parame.e. de.ive. from computationally mode.ing succe.sive.choice. in a gambling task, was also associate. with se.f-care.be.avior. The.e.re.ults are.pre.iminary;more.re.e.rch is ne.de. to de.onstrate.the.utility of the.e.findings in clinical se.tings. Information about associations be.we.n impulsivity and poor se.f-care.in pe.ple.with SCI could guide.the.de.e.opme.t of inte.ve.tions to improve.SCI se.f-care.and he.p patie.ts with e.e.ate. risks re.ate. to se.f-care.and se.ondary he.lth conditions.

Planktonic populations unde.we.t a fundame.tal change.with e.karyotic algae.be.ng re.lace. by nitroge.-fixing bacte.ia, gre.n-sulphur bacte.ia, sulphate.re.ucing bacte.ia and prasinophyte.. De.aile. studie. of boundary se.tions, e.pe.ially those.in South China, have.re.olve. the.crisis to a ～55 kyr inte.val straddling the.Pe.mo-Triassic boundary. Many of the.losse. occur at the.be.inning and e.d of this inte.val painting a picture.of a two-phase.e.tinction. Introduction :Conge.ital adre.al hype.plasia (CAH) is the.most common cause.of primary adre.al insufficie.cy. It is a rare.monoge.ic re.e.sive.disorde.. In African se.ting in abse.ce.of ne.natal scre.ning, the.diagnosis is still late. base. on a clinical approach. During this clinical e.quiry, information from past history or pe.igre. of the.patie.t is of a huge.importance.and may re.e.le. surprise.. Patie.ts and Me.hods: In this obse.vational study, we.re.rospe.tive.y include. all patie.ts with a diagnosis of CAH. The.diagnosis of CAH was re.aine. base. on a high 17 hydroxyproge.te.one.le.e. in addition to clinical and morphological findings. From patie.ts’ file., we.e.tracte. data on family history of dise.se. pe.igre., clinical findings and ge.e.ics whe. available.of 39 patie.ts from two e.docrinope.diatric ce.te.s. Re.ults: In 13 (30%) familie., we.found 20 re.orte. de.ths of infant le.s than 12 months. In the.e.13 familie., half of the.patie.ts followe. had 21 hydroxylase.de.icie.cie. and had 11 hydroxylase.de.icie.cie.. Unsurprisingly, we.suspe.te. adre.al insufficie.cy in the.e.patie.ts at ve.bal autopsy e.e. in familie. with a patie.t with 11 hydroxylase.de.icie.cy. Othe. non DSD malformations or ge.e.ic disorde.s with appare.tly no link with CAH we.e.re.orte. in 3 familie.. The.fathe. of a patie.t re.orte. to have.hypospadias. Conclusion: e.ch diagnosis of CAH made.in our conte.t is visible.part of an ice.e.g. Be.ind a diagnosis of CAH made.in our se.ting, is a long course.of care. a dramatic past history re.e.ling acce.s to appropriate.care.disparity. Ne.natal scre.ning should thus be.conside.e. as an e.e.ge.cy.
