The cryptic lifestyle of most fungi necessitates molecular identification of the guild in environmental *** the past decades,rapid development and affordab.lity of molecular tools have tremendously improved insights of the fungal diversity in all ecosystems and ***,in spite of the progress of molecular methods,knowledge ab.ut functional properties of the fungal taxa is vague and interpretation of environmental studies in an ecologically meaningful manner remains *** order to facilitate functional assignments and ecological interpretation of environmental studies we introduce a user friendly traits and character datab.se FungalTraits operating at genus and species hypothesis *** the information from previous efforts such as FUNGuild and FunFun together with involvement of expert knowledge,we reannotated 10,210 and 151 fungal and Stramenopila genera,*** resulted in a stand-alone spreadsheet dataset covering 17 lifestyle related traits of fungal and Stramenopila genera,designed for rapid functional assignments of environmental *** order to assign the trait states to fungal species hypotheses,the scientific community of experts manually categorised and assigned availab.e trait information to 697,413 fungal ITS *** the b.sis of those sequences we were ab.e to summarise trait and host information into 92,623 fungal species hypotheses at 1%dissimilarity threshold.

JUNO is a multi-purpose neutrino ob.ervatory under construction in the south of *** pub.ication presents new sensitivity estimates for the measurement of the △m_(31)^(2),△m_(21)^(2),sin^(2)θ_(12),and sin^(2)θ_(13) oscillation parameters using reactor antineutrinos,which is one of the primary physics goals of the *** sensitivities are ob.ained using the b.st knowledge availab.e to date on the location and overb.rden of the experimental site,the nuclear reactors in the surrounding area and b.yond,the detector response uncertainties,and the reactor antineutrino spectral shape constraints expected from the TAO satellite *** is found that the △m_(21)^(2) and sin^(2)θ_(12) oscillation parameters will b. determined to 0.5%precision or b.tter in six years of data *** the same period,the △m_(31)^(2) parameter will b. determined to ab.ut 0.2%precision for each mass ordering *** new precision represents approximately an order of magnitude improvement over existing constraints for these three parameters.

The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Ob.ervatory(JUNO)features a 20 kt multi-purpose underground liquid scintillator sphere as its main *** of JUNO's features make it an excellent location for^8b.solar neutrino measurements,such as its low-energy threshold,high energy resolution compared with water Cherenkov detectors,and much larger target mass compared with previous liquid scintillator *** this paper,we present a comprehensive assessment of JUNO's potential for detecting^8b.solar neutrinos via the neutrino-electron elastic scattering process.A reduced 2 MeV threshold for the recoil electron energy is found to b. achievab.e,assuming that the intrinsic radioactive b.ckground^(238)U and^(232)Th in the liquid scintillator can b. controlled to 10^(-17)g/*** ten years of data acquisition,approximately 60,000 signal and 30,000 b.ckground events are *** large sample will enab.e an examination of the distortion of the recoil electron spectrum that is dominated b. the neutrino flavor transformation in the dense solar matter,which will shed new light on the inconsistency b.tween the measured electron spectra and the predictions of the standard three-flavor neutrino oscillation *** m^(2)_(21)=4.8times10^(-5);(7.5times10^(-5))eV^(2),JUNO can provide evidence of neutrino oscillation in the Earth at approximately the 3sigma(2sigma)level b. measuring the non-zero signal rate variation with respect to the solar zenith ***,JUNO can simultaneously measureDelta m^2_(21)using^8b.solar neutrinos to a precision of 20% or b.tter,depending on the central value,and to sub.percent precision using reactor antineutrinos.A comparison of these two measurements from the same detector will help understand the current mild inconsistency b.tween the value of Delta m^2_(21)reported b. solar neutrino experiments and the KamLAND experiment.

The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Ob.ervatory(JUNO)is a large liquid scintillator detector designed to explore many topics in fundamental *** this study,the potential of searching for proton decay in the p→νK^(+)mode with JUNO is *** kaon and its decay particles feature a clear three-fold coincidence signature that results in a high efficiency for ***,the excellent energy resolution of JUNO permits suppression of the sizab.e b.ckground caused b. other delayed *** on these advantages,the detection efficiency for the proton decay via p→νK^(+)is 36.9%±4.9%with a b.ckground level of 0.2±0.05(syst)±0.2(stat)events after 10 years of data *** estimated sensitivity b.sed on 200 kton-years of exposure is 9.6×1033 years,which is competitive with the current b.st limits on the proton lifetime in this channel and complements the use of different detection technologies.
