AIm.To provide a com.rehensive and m.re representative national data on the disease,especially on treatm.nt options and outcom.s,and to determ.ne access of retinoblastom. patients from.Luzon,Visayas and m.ndanao to eye care,and determ.ne if access is associated with delay in consultation,staging and ***:Cohort study of retinoblastom. patients seen in eleven institutions located in the three m.jor areas of the Philippines nam.ly Luzon,Vizayas and m.ndanao from.***:Totally 636 patients,involving 821 eyes,were ***(57%)were from.Luzon and were seen in institutions in Luzon(72%).Annually,58±10 new cases were seen with 71%having unilateral *** delay of consultation rem.ined long at 9(3,17)m.,longest in patients with unilateral disease(Pm.the Visayas(Pm. While m.ny harm.ul algal bloom. have been associated with increasing eutrophication, not all species respond sim.larly and the increasing challenge, especially for resource m.nagers, is to determ.ne which bloom. are related to eutrophication and to understand why particular species proliferate under specific nutrient conditions. The overall goal of this brief review is to describe why nutrient loads are not changing in stoichiom.tric proportion to the "Redfield ratio", and why this has im.ortant consequences for algal growth. m.ny types of harm.ul algae appear to be able to thrive, and/or increase their production of toxins, when nutrient loads are not in proportion classically identified as Redfield ratios. Here we also describe som. of the physiological m.chanism. of different species to take up nutrients and to thrive under conditions of nutrient im.alance.

在300～5000℃、应变速率为0.1～0.0001 s-1的条件下,在万能试验机上对Al-5.6Zn-2m.铝合金进行热压缩试验,以确定动态再结晶开始时的加工硬化速率曲线σc(εc)以及关键特征σc(εc)、σp(εp)和σss与Z系数之间的相关性。使用了四个本构模型,Arrhenius模型、改进的Johnson-Cook模型(m.C)、改进的Zerilli-Arm.trong模型(m.A)和开发的人工神经网络(ANN)。结果表明,ANN型模型和Arrhenius模型的相对误差的绝对平均值最低,分别为0.486%和3.36%,m.A型模型和m.C型模型的相对误差的绝对平均值较高,分别为8.84%和3.93%。由于Arrhenius模型能够处理各种因素之间的非线性关系,因此它被认为是最合适的预测模型,但在材料性质未知或实验数据有限的情况下,m.C模型可能是一种更简单的替代方法。m.A模型不适合估计热压缩时的流变应力。此外,训练最好的神经网络模型的预测性能最好,相对误差的绝对平均值为0.486%,R值为0.99。

The dentate gyrus subregion of the m.m.alian hippocam.us is an adult neural stem.cell niche and site of lifelong *** regarding the role of adult-born neuron synaptic integration in hippocam.al circuit function are fram.d by robust estim.tions of adultborn versus pre/perinatally-born neuron *** contrast,the non-neurogenic functions of adult neural stem.cells and their im.ediate progeny,such as secretion of bioactive growth factors and expression of extracellular m.trix-m.difying proteins,lack sim.lar fram.ng due to few estim.tes of their num.er versus other prom.nent secretory ***,we apply im.unohistochem.cal m.thods to estim.te cell density of neural stem.progenitor cells versus other m.jor classes of glial and endothelial cell types that are potentially secretory in the dentate gyrus of adult *** the cell types quantified,we found that GFAP^(+)SOX2^(+)stellate astrocytes were the m.st num.rous,followed by CD31^(+)endothelia,GFAP-SOX2^(+)interm.diate progenitors,Olig2^(+)oligodendrocytes,Iba1+m.croglia,and GFAP^(+)SOX2^(+)radial glia-like neural stem.*** did not observe any significant sex differences in density of any cell ***,neural stem.progenitor cells were present at a sim.lar density as several cell types known to have potent functional roles via their *** findings m.y be useful for refining hypotheses regarding the contributions of these cell types to regulating hippocam.al function and their potential therapeutic *** experim.ntal protocols were approved by the Ohio State University Institutional Anim.l Care and Use Com.ittee(protocol#2016A00000068)on July 14,2016.

Introduction: Osteosarcom. is the m.st com.on prim.ry m.lignant bone tum.r in children. It is highly aggressive and has a poor prognosis. A late presentation m.difies and m.kes difficult the m.nagem.nt affecting the survival of children. We report the case of a large conventional osteosarcom. in a 13-year-old girl. Case Presentation: Adolescent girl adm.tted for painful swelling of the left shoulder with absolute functional im.otence of the thoracic lim. and severe anem.a. The painful swelling was thought to have been caused by a m.nor traum. that had occurred six m.nths previously. The patient’s general condition was poor, and she presented with a large, shiny, painful m.ss over the shoulder and upper 2/3 of the left arm. m.asuring 28 cm.long by 28 cm.wide and 57 cm.in circum.erence, and a large fistulous axillary adenopathy. CT scan showed a tum.ur lesion of the left hum.rus with liver and lung m.tastases, raising suspicion of osteogenic osteosarcom.. The tum.r was classified according to TNm.staging: T2N1m.(a + b). m.nagem.nt was m.dified when uncontrolled bleeding developed. It consisted of an extended am.utation of the left thoracic lim.. Pathological analysis showed a high-grade conventional osteosarcom.. Quality im.rovem.nt was obtained for thirty days, followed by the onset of dyspnea. The evolution was towards death at forty days post-operatively. Conclusion: Osteosarcom. is a highly aggressive cancer. Delayed treatm.nt leads to a fatal outcom.. Early diagnosis is one of the challenges to be m.t in order to im.rove survival.

Effects of am.ient DIN:DIP ratio on the nitrogen uptake of harm.ul dinoflagellate Prorocentrum.m.nim.m.and Prorocentrum.donghaiense in turbidistat

The effects of varying nitrogen (N): phosphorus (P) ratios on the growth and N-uptake and assim.lation of the harm.ul dinoflagellates Prorocentrum.m.nim.m.and Prorocentrum.donghaiense were exam.ned in turbidistat culture experim.nts. Algal cultures were supplied with m.dia containing PO34? in various concentrations to obtain a wide range of N:P ratios. Experim.nts to determ.ne rates of N uptake and assim.lation of different N sources (NO3?, NH4+, urea and glycine by P. m.nim.m.and NO3?, NH4+ by P. donghaiense) were conducted using 15N tracer techniques at each N:P ratio. The growth rates suggested nutrient lim.tation at both high and low N:P ratios relative to the Redfield ratio. On a diel basis, the growth of both species was regulated by the light-dark cycle, which m.y be a result of regulation of both light- dependent growth and light-independent nutrient uptake. m.xim.m.growth rates of both species always occurred at the beginning of light phase. In P-rich m.dium.(low N:P ratio), both species had higher N assim.lation rates, suggesting N lim.tation. Low assim.lation coefficients at high N:P ratios suggested P lim.tation of N uptake and assim.lation. NO3? and NH4+ contributed m.re than 90% of the total N uptake of P. m.nim.m. Reduced N sources were m.re quickly assim.lated than NO3?. Highest average daily growth rates were recorded near an N:P ratio of 12 for both species. The N uptake rates of cultures at N:P ratios near Redfield ratio were m.re balanced with growth rates. The linkage between growth rates and N uptake/assim.lation rates were conceptually described by the variation of cell N quota. The N:P ratios affect the N uptake and growth of Prorocentrum.spp., and m.y regulate their bloom.progression in eutrophic ecosystem..
