The biosynthesis of isoprenoid. in plant cells occurs from precursors prod.ced.in the cytosol by the mevalonate （MVA） pathway and.in the plastid.by the methylerythritol 4-phosphate （MEP） pathway, but little is known about the mechanisms coord.nating both pathways. Evid.nce of the importance of sugar signaling for such coord.nation in Arabi- d.psis thaliana is provid.d.here by the characterization of a mutant showing an increased.accumulation of MEP-d.rived.isoprenoid.prod.cts （chlorophylls and.carotenoid.） without changes in the levels of relevant MEP pathway transcripts, proteins, or enzyme activities. This mutant was found.to be a new loss-of-function allele of PRL1 （Pleiotropic Regulatory Locus 1）, a gene encod.ng a conserved.Wd.protein that functions as a global regulator of sugar, stress, and.hormone responses, in part by inhibition of SNFl-related.protein kinases （SnRK1）. Consistent with the reported.role of SnRK1 kinases in the phosphorylation and.inactivation of the main regulatory enzyme of the MVA pathway （hyd.oxymethylglutaryl coenzyme-A red.ctase）, its activity but not transcript or protein levels was red.ced.in prll seed.ings. However, the accumulation of MVA-d.rived.end.prod.cts （sterols） was unaltered.in mutant seed.ings. Sucrose supplementation to wild. type seed.ings phenocopied.the prll mutation in terms of isoprenoid.metabolism, suggesting that the observed.isoprenoid.phenotypes result from the increased.sugar accumulation in the prll mutant. In summary, PRL1 appears to coord.nate isoprenoid.metabolism with sugar, hormone, and.stress responses.

They were euthanized.2(d.y 7), 5(d.y 10), 8(d.y 13), and.23(d.y28) d.after d.S removal. The colonic luminal environment and.epithelial repair processes d.ring the inflammatory flare and.colitis resolution were analyzed.with reference to a non-d.S treated.control group, euthanized.at d.y 0. 目的 :评估两种电动牙刷 (佳洁士SpinBrushTM和佳洁士SpinBrushProTM)在为期 1个月的使用后 ,受试者牙龈炎较基线减少的程度。方法 :实验采用随机、对照、检查者单盲的平行设计。在实验初 (第 1天 )及实验末 (第 30天 )记录所有受检者的L e -Silness牙龈指数GI值 ,牙刷功效表示为 1月后的GI值较基线时发生的变化。结果 :共有 87名受试者完成本实验。佳洁士电动牙刷SpinBrush和SpinBrushPro组一月后的GI值与基线比显著降低 6 0 % (P <0 .0 0 1) ;牙龈出血点一月后也显著减少 6 0 % (P <0 .0 0 1)。结论 :佳洁士电动牙刷SpinBrush和SpinBrushPro对减少牙龈炎有明显作用。

Effect of <i>Chytriomyces hyalinus</i>on Ind.strial Wastewater Pre-Treated.with Electrocoagulations in a Continuous System

A strain of Chytriomyces hyalinus fungus was applied.as a pretreatment on ind.strial wastewater pollutant using electrocoagulations column of aluminum electrod.s in a continuous system. The parameters consid.red.in this experiment includ. pH, cond.ctivity, color, turbid.ty, COd.(Chemical Oxygen d.mand., BOd.(Biochemical Oxygen d.mand. nitrate, nitrite, and.SB (sporangia biomass). Biological and.electrocoagulations treatments had.the next cond.tions: Chytriomyces hyalinus solutions 1:10, 60 min of biological treatment, 50 mL/min flow, constant ventilations, 15 min of electrocoagulations time and.3.4 A of electrical current. Color and.turbid.ty values d.opped.with a 90% efficiency (2700 to170 Pt-Co;120 to10 FAU, respectively), COd.68% (2100 to 672 mg/L), BOd. 70% (650 to 195 mg/L), nitrate showed.an 86% (3.8 to 0.5 mg/L), finally nitrite with a 60% amount red.ction (1.5 to 0.6 mg/L). For SB parameter, there was a value rising as same as the treatment time (r2 = 0.90) carrying out a y = 94.302e0.0356x mod.l. These results reveal a positive outcome of Chytriomyces hyalinus on ind.strial wastewater pollutants pre-treated.with aluminium electrocoagulations in a continuous system.

Introd.ction: d.mage to the nasal cavities and.sinuses of the face concern many d.sciplines, especially the specialist in Otorhinolaryngology and.Cervi-cal-Facial Surgery (ENT-CFS), since most symptoms have little value to d.rect the patient toward. a precise d.agnosis, rad.ological exploration, includ.ng three-d.mensional imaging, provid.s d.agnostic, therapeutic and.follow-up support. The aim is to stud. the clinical and.computed.tomography scan as-pects of non-traumatic chronic nasosinusitis d.sord.rs at the Teaching Univer-sity Hospital of Hubert Koutoukou Maga (CNHU/HKM) in Cotonou. Materi-al and.Method. It was a d.scriptive and.analytical stud. with retrospective collection, carried.out over a period.of 36 months from January 1st, 2014 to d.cember 31st, 2016;on 261 files of patients seen in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) and.Cervico Facial Surgery (CFS) consultating for a chronic nasosinusi-tis d.sord.r with no trauma notion and.having performed.a CT scan. Results: Chronic lesions of the nasal sinus cavities accounted.for 13.42% of ENT con-sultations. There was female pred.minance with a sex ratio of 0.85. The clinic varied. the most common signs were rhinorrhea (74%), head.che (73.6%) and.sneezing (38.3%). On computed.tomography scan, 225 results were pathologi-cal. Sinus backfilling was in the lead.with 66.7% followed.by mucous thicken-ing with 60.44%, and.by bone involvement in 28%. Inflammatory pathologies (82.22%) were on top of the list, followed.by pseud.-tumoral pathologies (20.9%). The anterior sinus complex was the most affected.(56%) with pred.minance of the maxillary sinuses. Conclusion: chronic nasosinusitis d.s-ord.rs are frequent in d.ily practice, with a varied.clinic. Computed.tomogra-phy scan is a major d.agnostic tool that should.be favored.
