Impact of train speed on the mechanical behaviours of track-bed materials

For the 30,000 km long French conventional railway lines(94% of the whole network),the train speed is currently limited to 220 km/h,whilst the speed is 320 km/h for the 1800 km long high-speed ***,there is a growing need to improve the services by increasing the speed limit for the conventional *** paper aims at studying the influence of train speed on the mechanical behaviours of track-bed materials based on field monitoring *** is put on the behaviours of interlayer and subgrade *** selected experimental site is located in Vierzon,*** sensors including accelerometers and soil pressure gauges were installed at different *** vertical strains of different layers can be obtained by integrating the records of accelerometers installed at different trackbed *** experimentation was carried out using an intercity test train running at different speeds from 60 km/h to 200 km/*** test train was composed of a locomotive(22.5 Mg/axle) and 7 'Corail'coaches(10.5 Mg/axle).It was observed that when the train speed was raised,the loadings transmitted to the track-bed ***,the response of the track-bed materials was amplified by the speed rise at different depths:the vertical dynamic stress was increased by about 10% when the train speed was raised from 60 km/h to 200 km/h for the locomotive loading,and the vertical strains doubled their quasistatic values in the shallow ***,the stressestrain paths were estimated using the vertical stress and strain for each train *** loading paths allowed the resilient modulus Mrto be *** was found that the resilient modulus(M_r) was decreased by about 10% when the train speed was increased from 100 km/h to 200 km/***,the damping ratio(D_r) kept stable in the range of speeds explored.

Phase-sensitive optical time-domain reflectometry(CDOTDR)is a well-established technique that provides spatiotemporal measurements of an environmental variable in real *** unique capability is being leveraged in an everincreasing number of applications,from energy transportation or civil security to *** date,a wide number of different approaches have been implemented,providing a plethora of options in terms of performance(resolution,acquisition bandwidth,sensitivity or range).However,to achieve high spatial resolutions,detection bandwidths in the GHz range are typically required,substantially increasing the system cost and ***,we present a novel OOTDR approach that allows a customized time expansion of the received optical ***,the presented technique reaches cm-scale spatial resolutions over t km while requiring a remarkably low detection bandwidth in the MHz *** approach relies on the use of dual-comb spectrometry to interrogate the fibre and sample the backscattered *** phase-spectral coding is applied to the employed combs to maximize the signal-to-noise ratio of the sensing scheme.A comparison of the proposed method with alternative approaches aimed at similar operation features is provided,along with a thorough analysis of the new *** results demonstrate a radically novel high-resolution OOTDR scheme,which could promote new applications in metrology,borehole monitoring or aerospace.

目的:本文旨在研究不同波长载荷(包括车厢长度、构架长度以及轴距等)对位移确定的影响,利用积分方法确定位移的有效性和重复性的适用范围,以及研究列车速度和轴荷载对变形量的影响,为轨道基础位移监测提供重要的方法。创新点:1.评价和分析一种积分方法,该方法利用低通滤波法但不消除产生变形的主要频率;2.通过对位移、速度和加速度传感器在时域和频域结果的比较,使重复性得到保证。方法:利用线性可变差位移传感器、地震检波器以及加速度计获取轨道不同深度的位移、速度和加速度,然后利用巴特沃兹低通滤波器对3类数据进行滤波。通过对速度一阶积分、加速度二阶积分,获得由3种传感器测试得到的位移并验证其准确性。结论:通过测试和分析发现,95%的位移幅值来自于波长大于轴距(2.8 m)的激励,对应的低频为25 Hz(列车运行速度为200 km/h)。通过线性可变差位移传感器、地震检波器以及加速度计直接获得或间接积分获得的位移十分接近,验证了积分方法的有效性,且其具有较高的可重复性。

Breast Reconstruction: Does It Worth to Start If the Patient Is Not Sure to Take All the Process Along?

Introduction: Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women worldwide, representing a major public health problem. There is still little information comparing the satisfaction of the patients who finished their process against the ones who start it but did not finish it. The aim of our retrospective study was to analyze the results in terms of satisfaction after one year of undergoing to complete breast reconstruction (CBR) vs incomplete breast reconstruction (IBR). Materials and Methods: Retrospective study of patients that underwent breast reconstruction (BR) surgery after mastectomy for breast cancer treatment. Performed at Hospital Central Sur de Alta Especialidad PEMEX in Mexico City, including patients from January 1, 2015 to January 01, 2020. Demographic baseline variables were included. BREAST-Q satisfaction questionnaires one year after the last reconstructive procedure were analyzed. Results: A total of 44 patients fulfilled the inclusion criteria. Of these 44 patients, 11 were included in the IBR group, and 33 patients in the CBR group. There were no statistically significant differences between the two groups in terms of age (IBR 56.09 vs CBR 53.06 years, p = 0.321);BMI (IBR 27.94 vs CBR 26.40, p = 0.253), time from mastectomy to first reconstructive procedure (IBR 22.8 vs CBR 31 months, p = 0.957), history of chemotherapy (IBR 27.3% vs CBR 33.3%, p = 0.709) and radiotherapy (IBR 54.5% vs CBR 42.4%, p = 0.484), additionally type of reconstruction, affected side or complication rate were not significantly different. Regarding postoperative satisfaction, only the second module of satisfaction with breasts displayed statistically significant differences, with a higher score in the CBR group (46.27 vs 52.27, p = 0.019). Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis is an infectious agent that occurs in small ruminants causing caseous lymphadenitis, and more rarely in humans causing lymphadenitis and pneumonia. The breeding small ruminants have great economic importance in Brazil. Rural farm workers and veterinary students who acquired this disease suffered from weakening symptoms for weeks, and the identification of the etiological agent was time-consuming and complex. Due to the low prevalence of case records, there is probably no available commercial diagnostic kit for C. pseudotuberculosis infection in humans. This study aimed to describe human seroreactivity to secreted antigens from C. pseudotuberculosis. Reactivity of serum from farm workers (n = 14), individuals who work with the bacillus at laboratory (n = 8) or individuals without contact (n = 25) was tested with secreted proteins from PAT10 strain of C. pseudotuberculosis by Western blotting. Samples of all (100%) farm workers showed reactivity to 31 kda, 71 kda and 164 kda proteins, while laboratory workers showed 87.5%, 62.5 % and 37.5%, and no-contact 20%, 0% and 16%, respectively. All sera recognized the 275 kda protein. Our data suggest that C. pseudotuberculosis secreted proteins are antigenic in humans and the recognition profiles allowed the identification of individuals with and without prior contact with this bacillus. This is the first paper which describes human reactivity to C. pseudotuberculosis in serum samples of workers in Brazil.

Anthropometric Breast Measurements: Analysis of the Average Breast in the Mexican Female Population

Introduction: The elements and perception of beauty vary between populations around the world. To obtain better results, surgical techniques should be planned based on anthropometric characteristics of the race, location, and body mass index (BMI). Objectives: To determine which are the standard measurements and anatomical proportions of the breast in a healthy Mexican women population. Materials and Methods: Female Mexican volunteers between 20 and 60 years of age, without any history of breast illness or breast surgery were studied. Demographic information and standard breast anthropometric measurements were collected manually by one of the authors. For the statistical analysis a Student-T test was performed, and the Pearson correlation coefficient was obtained using the latest version of SPSS software. Results: 78 volunteers were included in the analysis. Mean height, weight and BMI were 1.6 m, 68.9 Kg, and 26.6 Kg/m2 respectively. The mean anthropometric values found were: Supra Sternal notch to nipple distance (SSN:N) 22 cm, Breast volume (BV) 372.6 cm3, Upper breast pole length (UBPL) 11 cm, Lower Breast Pole length (LBPL) 7.7 cm, Midline to Nipple distance (ML:N) 10.2 cm, Transverse diameter of the Nipple areola complex (NAC-T) 4.1 cm, Height of the Nipple Areola Complex (NAC-H) 4.1 cm, Base of the breast (BB) 13.4 cm, Upper Pole to Lower Pole Ratio (UPP:LPP) 58.9:41.1. A statistically significant difference between Right and left breast was not found. The UPP/ LPP ratio in our population is far different from what is considered internationally aesthetic (45:55). A positive correlation was found between weight/ BMI and SSN:N, BV, BB, ML:N and LBPL. Also between age and SSN:N, LBPL, BV and BB. Conclusion: This study sets the Anthropometric grounds in Mexican population for an objective individual patient analysis and comparison with the female population of this and other nations.

OBJECTIVES Elderly patients show a higher incidence of ischemic and bleeding events after percutaneous transluminal coron-ary intervention(PCI).We sought to investigate outcomes in elderly patients treated with antithrombotic strategy guided by bleeding and ischemic risks after revascularization with last generation everolimus-eluting stent(EES).METHODS Prospective multicenter registry including patients over 75 years revascularized with EES and antithrombotic ther-apy guided by clinical presentation,PCI complexity and PRECISE daPT ***-primary safety endpoints were:(1)composite of cardiac death,myocardial infarction and stent thrombosis and;(2)bleeding(BARC 2-5).Primary efficacy endpoint was target lesion revascularization.A matched group of patients revascularized with current drug-eluting stents and no such tailored antith-rombotic therapy was used as *** Finally,1064 patients were included in SIERRA-75 cohort,80.8±4.2 years,36.6%women,71%acute coronary syn-dromes(ACS)and 53.6%complex ***-primary safety endpoint of major adverse cardiovascular events was met in 6.2%,co-primary safety endpoint of bleeding in 7.8%and primary efficacy endpoint of TKLR in 1.5%.The multivariable adjusted model showed no significant association of the prescribed short/long dual antiplatelet therapy(daPT)durations with any endpoint suggesting a well tailored *** stent thrombosis reported in the subgroup with 1-3 months daPT *** compared to control group,bleeding BARC 2-5 was significantly lower in SIERRA-75 group(7.4%vs.10.2%,P=0.04)as well as the net safety-efficacy endpoint(14.3%vs.18.5%,P=0.02).CONCLUSIONS In elderly population,the application of this risks-adjusted antithrombotic protocol after revascularization with last generation EES seems to be associated with an improved prognosis in terms of ischemic and bleeding outcomes.

The impact of forest microhabitats on physiochemical properties of the soil and that of microbial communities on tropical soils remain poorly *** elucidate the effect of tropical forest stand on leaf litter and soil microbial communities,we studied enzyme activities,microbial biomass,and diversity in three distinct microhabitats in terms of plant richness,diameter at breast height(DBH),and physiochemical properties of soil and litter,each associated with a different Vanilla *** the soil,positive correlations were found between electrical conductivity(EC)and total organic carbon(TOC)with phosphatase activity,and between nitrogen(N)and water-soluble carbon(WSC)content with urease activity(UA).In the litter,the water content was positively correlated with bacterial and fungal biomass,and N and WSC contents were positively correlated with fungal *** correlations were found between plant richness and UA in the soil,plant richness and fungal biomass in the soil and litter,and DBH and fungal biomass in the *** sequencing revealed differences between microhabitats in the relative abundance of some fungal and bacterial taxa and in the bacterial community composition of both litter and *** richness and diversity were different between microhabitats,and,in litter samples,they were negatively correlated with DBH and plant richness,*** contrast,none of the soil and litter physiochemical properties were significantly correlated with microbial *** results show that significant shifts in enzyme activity,microbial biomass,and diversity in the microhabitats were driven by key abiotic and biotic factors depending on the soil or litter sample type.
