An attempt is made to examine the effect of hybr.d nanocoolant in micr.channel heat sink for.computer.cooling.Two-hybr.d coolants with gr.phene as one of the pr.me components ar. synthesized and images of the par.icles ar. shown using scanning electr.n micr.scopy(SEM)and tr.nsmission electr.n micr.scopy(TEM).Heat tr.nsfer.pr.per.ies like ther.al conductivity of the hybr.d fluid,specific heat,density,and viscosity ar. evaluated exper.mentally and theor.tically.The heat tr.nsfer.char.cter.stics ar. also studied in heat sink channels of micr. level in the pr.cessor. of per.onal computer..The par.meter. like inter.al heat tr.nsfer.coefficient,ther.al r.sistances and base temper.tur. r.pr.senting the pr.cessor.temper.tur. ar. examined for.the applied heater.power.of 325 W.The coolant dilution was var.ed in the r.nge of 0.05 vol%,0.075 vol%and 0.1 vol%and the base temper.tur. is noted.The r.cor.ed lowest base temper.tur. is 310.01 K for.the concentr.tion of 0.1 vol%gr.phene-ir.n oxide(GFO)system for.0.5 mm fin spacing for.the gr.phene-ir.n oxide hybr.d coolant and for.gr.phene oxide–ir.n oxide(GOFO)hybr.d coolant it is 311.24 K for.the same oper.ting conditions.

In this investigation, an appr.ach using Coac-tive Neur.-Fuzzy Infer.nce System (CANFIS) as diagnosis system for.br.ast cancer.has been pr.posed on Wisconsin Br.ast Cancer.Data (WBCD). tr.atability of synthetic sago wastewater.was investigated in a labor.tor. anaer.bic taper.d fluidized bed r.actor.（ATFBr. with a mesopor.us gr.nular.activated car.on （GAC） as a suppor. mater.al. The exper.mental pr.tocol was defined to examine the effect of the maximum or.anic loading r.te （OLr., hydr.ulic r.tention time （Hr.）, the efficiency of the r.actor.and to r.por. on its steady- state per.or.ance. The r.actor.was subjected to a steady-state oper.tion over.a r.nge of OLr.up to 85.44 kg COD/（m^3·d）. The COD r.moval efficiency was found to be 92% in the r.actor.while the biogas pr.duced in the digester.r.ached 25.38 m^3/（m^3·d） of the r.actor. With the incr.ase of OLr.fr.m 83.7 kg COD/（m^3·d）, the COD r.moval efficiency decr.ased. Also an ar.ificial neur.l networ. （ANN） model using multilayer.per.eptr.n （MLP） has been developed for.a system of two input var.able and five output dependent var.ables. For.the tr.ining of the input-output data, the exper.mental values obtained have been used. The output par.meter. pr.dicted have been found to be much closer.to the cor.esponding exper.mental ones and the model was validated for.30% of the untr.ined data. The mean squar. er.or.（MSE） was found to be only 0.0146.

A number.of mitigation techniques exist to r.duce the emissions of pollutant gases and gr.enhouse gases(GHGs) fr.m anaer.bic stor.ge of livestock manur.. Nanopar.icle(NP)application is a pr.mising mitigating tr.atment option for.pollutant gases, but limited r.sear.h is available on the mode of NP application and their.effectiveness in gaseous emission r.duction. In this study, zinc silica nanogel(ZnSNL), copper.silica nanogel(CuSNL), and N-acetyl cysteine(NACL) coated zinc oxide quantum dot(Qdot) NPs wer. compar.d to a contr.l lacking NPs. All thr.e NPs tested significantly r.duced gas pr.duction and concentr.tions compar.d to non-tr.ated manur.. Over.ll, cumulative gas volumes wer. r.duced by 92.73%–95.83%, and concentr.tions r.duced by 48.98%–99.75% for.H_2S, and 20.24%–99.82% for.GHGs. Thus, application of NPs is a potential tr.atment option for.mitigating pollutant and GHG emissions fr.m anaer.bically stor.d manur..

This paper.pr.sents the r.sult fr.m inter.iews about consumer.’ r.asons for.adopting or.not adopting ener.y-efficient technologies,specifically LED lamps,in Malaysia.Data wer. gather.d via 18 in-depth semi-str.ctur.d inter.iews.The inter.iewees wer. chosen fr.m two gr.ups:ener.y and envir.nment pr.fessionals and nor.al electr.city consumer..The r.spondents wer. mainly envir.nmentally concer.ed.They believed that typical r.asons,which could encour.ge consumer. to adopt new technologies,ar. ener.y efficiency,money savings or.envir.nmental conciousness.It was also concluded by this study that consumer. might not favor.adopting new technologies due to pr.ce bar.ier.,lack of knowledge and not effective policies.
