Electric vehicles(EVs)are going to overrule the transportation sector due to their pollution-free technology and low running ***,charging the EVs causes significant power demand and stress on the power delivery *** challenge can be tackled well when charging and discharging scheduling are coordinated with intelligent EV *** this work,two-stage charging and discharging scheduling are *** the first stage,a time scheduling algorithm is structured to identify EV charging/discharging slots at different hours,and at a later stage,the slots are optimally distributed among different charging *** of the EVs towards the EVCSs has been designed to enhance the useful participation of the EVs in the charging and discharging *** this regard,a possible number of EVs in the test region has been forecasted with a regression *** adequacy of the combined charging-discharging and location scheduling model is tested on a typical PV-enhanced 28-bus Indian distribution *** case studies containing three sub-cases in each have been performed incorporating the choice of the EV owners towards charging and discharging in different time slots in a *** case studies have resulted in a peak-to-average ratio(PAR)of 1.151,0,1.165,0,1.196,8,1.165,0,1.180,9,1.196,8,1.196,8,1.196,8 and 1.196,8 for the 24-h demand pattern in Case-1a,Case-1b,Case-1c,Case-2a,Case-2b,Case-2c,Case-3a,Case-3b and Case-1c respectively in comparison to a PAR of 1.2 for the 24-h demand in base case.

We explore the impacts of economic and financial dislocations caused by COVID-19 pandemic shocks on food sales in the United States from january 2020 to january *** use the US weekly economic index(WEI)to measure economic dislocations and the Chicago Board Options Exchange volatility index(VIX)to capture the broader stock market *** validate the NARDL model by testing a battery of models using the autoregressive distributed lags(ARDL)methodology(ARDL,NARDL,and QARDL specifications).Our study postulates that an increase in WEI has a significant negative long-term effect on food sales,whereas a decrease in WEI has no statistically significant(long-run)***,policy responses that ignore asymmetric effects and hidden cointegration may fail to promote food security during pandemics.

ZnO1-xTex ternary alloys have great potential to work as a photovoltaic （PV） absorber in solar cells. ZnOl-xSx is also a ZnO based alloy that have uses in solar cells. In this paper we report the comparative study of various parameters of ZnO 1-x Tex and ZnO 1-x Sx for selecting it to be a competent material for solar cell applica- tions. The parameters are mainly being calculated using the well-known VCA （virtual crystal approximation） and VBAC （Valence Band Anti-Crossing） model. It was certainly being analysed that the incorporation of Te atoms produces a high band gap lower than S atoms in the host ZnO material. The spin-orbit splitting energy value of ZnOl-xTex was found to be higher than that of ZnOl-xSx. Beside this, the strain effects are also higher in ZnO^-xTex than ZnOl-xSx. The remarkable notifying result which the paper is reporting is that at a higher per- centage of Te atoms in ZnOl-xTex, the spin-orbit splitting energy value rises above the band gap value, which signifies a very less intemal carrier recombination that decreases the leakage current and increases the efficiency of the solar cell. Moreover, it also covers a wide wavelength range compared to ZnO1-x Sx.

Flexible triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs)-based pressure sensors are very essential for the wide-range applications, comprising wearable healthcare systems, intuitive human-device interfaces, electronic-skin (e-skin), and artificial intelligence. Most of conventional fabrication methods used to produce high-performance TENGs involve plasma treatment, photolithography, printing, and electro-deposition. However, these fabrication techniques are expensive, multi-step, time-consuming and not suitable for mass production, which are the main barriers for efficient and cost-effective commercialization of TENGs. Here, we established a highly reliable scheme for the fabrication of a novel eco-friendly, low cost, and TENG-based pressure sensor (TEPS) designed for usage in self-powered-human gesture detection (SP-HGD) likewise wearable healthcare applications. The sensors with microstructured electrodes performed well with high sensitivity (7.697 kPa^-1), a lower limit of detection (~ 1 Pa), faster response time ( 4,000 compression-releasing cycles. The proposed method is suitable for the adaptable fabrication of TEPS at an extremely low cost with possible applications in self-powered systems, especially e-skin and healthcare applications.

Abstract： Trivalent europium doped zinc oxide （ZnO：Eu3＋） nanocrystals were synthesized via room temperature chemical co-pre- cipitation and they were systematically characterized by means of X-ray diffraction （XRD）, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy （FTIR） and photoluminescence （PL） spectroscopy. The as-synthesized samples were found to have hexagonal wurtzite coexisted with the intermediate Zn5（OH）sC12·H2O phase, while the single hexagonal phase was facilitated due to the calcinations. The as obtained samples were broadly composed ofnanoflakes while the highly crystalline nanorods were formed due to low temperature annealing of the as-synthesized samples. The crystallite size of the nanoflakes and nanorods （40-90 nm） were extracted from the XRD pattern which was found to be consistent with scanning electron microscopy （SEM） measurements. The photoluminescence （PL） spectra of nanophosphors showed bright red and orange emissions at 618 and 594 nm respectively with efficient broad blue green emis- sion spectrum due to ZnO lattice. Further, a good energy transfer process from ZnO host to Eu3＋ was observed in PL emission and excitation spectra of Eu3＋ doped ZnO ions. In all, the present nanophosphors were found to have great potentiality for bio-appli- cations.

We propose a broadband fiber optic parametric amplifier（FOPA） based on a near-zero ultra-flat dispersion profile with a single zero-dispersion wavelength（ZDW） by using a selective liquid infiltration *** amplifier gain and bandwidth is investigated for a variety of fiber lengths, pump power, and operating wavelengths. It is observed that sufficient peak gains and broader bandwidths can be achieved with a small negative anomalous dispersion（β2≤ 0） and a positive value of the 4th-order dispersion parameter（t β4）around the pump. We can optimize an FOPA with a bandwidth of more than 220 nm around the communications wavelength.

Adult male and female golden mahseer(n=10-12)were collected during summer,monsoon,pre-winter and winter for evaluating gonadal seasonality,condition factor(CF),viscera-hepatosomatic index(VHSI),hepatocyte density(HD)and muscle fatty acid(FA)*** summer and monsoon,all males,but only 67%and 71%of females,were spawning capable in respective *** pre-winter,males were mostly in regressing,but females were in regenerating *** winter,50%of males and 14%of females were in the early spawning capable *** and HD,in males only,were respectively highest and lowest in winter,indicating their nutrient recovery starting in pre-winter and completing in *** muscle FA profile of females only was linked to gonadal status,where C20:1,C22:1,C18:3n-6,C18:3n-3,C20:4n-3,C22:6n-3,total n-3 and n-6 FAs were depleted in peak spawning ***,it was found that their spawning peak falls in summer and monsoon,but few early and late spawners were detected in winter and pre-winter,*** and females exhibited a different reproduction-linked nutrient allocation pattern;hepatic nutrient dynamic was prominent in males,but muscle FA dynamic was pronounced in *** dynamic was similar in both sexes.

The present study investigates the mechanical and in-vitro corrosion behavior of Mg-4Zn-0.5Ca-0.8Mn alloy in optimum homogenized *** optimization of the homogenization parameters has been carried out employing thermodynamic calculations and kinetic *** model utilizes the inter-diffusivity of the solute elements and predicts that∼6–24 h of homogenization at 633 K effectively redistributes the elements in the Mg *** on the insights obtained from the simulations,the as-cast Mg-4Zn-0.5Ca-0.8Mn alloy was subjected to homogenization heat treatment process for 6–*** microstructural study through optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy(SEM)revealed that the interconnected network of second phase precipitates substantially dissolve within 24 h,implying adequate ***,fine Mg-Zn based precipitates with varied morphology and phase fractions also evolved during homogenization treatment,as confirmed through SEM and transmission electron *** the 12 h homogenized specimen,the highest fraction of uniformly dispersed fine precipitates resulted in the highest strength(∼225 MPa).On the other hand,a substantial disruption in coarse precipitate network and lower aspect ratio of fine Mg-Zn precipitates led to the highest ductility(∼8%)in this *** the 24 h homogenized specimen,the ductility reduced marginally owing to higher aspect ratio of fine *** immersion and electrochemical tests(viz.,potentiodynamic polarization and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy)carried out in Hank’s solution revealed that the 24 h homogenized specimen exhibits the best corrosion *** least fraction of Ca_(2)Mg_(6)Zn_(3)phase with maximum disruption in interconnectivity,in combination with a small fraction of fine equilibrium MgZn_(2)precipitates,resulted in suppression of localized corrosion in this *** promotes the formation of the most stable and compact product layer over the specimen,result
