Most microfluidic separation techniques rely largely on object size as a separation *** ability to separate micro-objects based on their shape is crucial in various biomedical and chemical ***,we develop an ondemand,label-free acous.o.luidic method to separate prolate ellipsoids from spherical microparticles based on traveling surface acoustic wave-induced acoustic radiation force and *** freely rotating non-spherical microobjects were aligned under the progressive acoustic field by the counterrotating radiation torque,and the major axis.o. the prolate ellipsoids was parallel to the progressive wave *** specific alignment of the ellipsoidal particles resulted in a reduction in the cross-sectional area perpendicular to the wave *** a consequence,the acoustic backscattering decreased,resulting in a decreased magnitude of the radiation *** the variation in radiation force,which depended on the micro-object morphology enabled the acous.o.luidic shape-based *** conducted numerical simulations for the wave scattering of spherical and prolate objects to elucidate the working mechanism underlying the proposed method.A series.o. experiments with polystyrene microspheres,prolate ellipsoids,and peanut-shaped microparticles were performed for *** quantitative analysis.o. the separation efficiency,we confirmed the high purity and high recovery rate of the proposed acous.o.luidic shapebased separation of *** a bioparticle,we utilize Thalass.o.ira eccentrica to perform shape-based separation,as the species has a variety of potential applications in drug delivery,biosensing,nanofabrication,bioencapsulation and immunoisolation.

利用脉冲紫外线辅助热退火在200℃的低温条件下,5 min内制备了基于溶液工艺的氧化铟薄膜及薄膜晶体管.对比传统热退火,研究了脉冲紫外线辅助热退火对氧化铟薄膜的表面形态、化学结构和电学特性的影响.实验结果表明,脉冲紫外线辅助热退火方式能够在短时间内实现改善氧化铟薄膜的质量及薄膜晶体管的性能.原子力显微镜和场发射扫描电子显微镜结果显示该薄膜表面较传统热退火制备薄膜表面更为致密平坦.X射线光电能谱测试表明,脉冲紫外线辅助热退火处理后会产生氧空位,从而提高载流子浓度,改善了氧化铟薄膜的导电性.此外,对比研究了紫外线辅助热退火对氧化铟薄膜晶体管电气性能的影响.结果表明器件的电学特性得到了明显改善,亚阈值摆幅降低至0.12 mV/dec,阈值电压为7.4 V,电流开关比高达1.29×107,场效应迁移率提升至1.27 cm^(2)/(V·s).因此,脉冲紫外线辅助热退火是一种简单、快速的退火方式,即使在低温条件下也能快速提高氧化铟薄膜和薄膜晶体管的性能.

Micro-Locational Fine Dust Prediction Utilizing Machine Learning and Deep Learning Models

Given the increasing number of countries reporting degraded air quality,effective air quality monitoring has become a critical issue in today’s ***,the current air quality observatory systems are often prohibitively expensive,resulting in a lack of observatories in many regions within a ***,a significant problem arises where not every region receives the same level of air quality *** disparity occurs because some locations have to rely on information from observatories located far away from their regions,even if they may be the closest available *** address this challenge,a novel approach that leverages machine learning and deep learning techniques to forecast fine dust concentrations was ***,continuous location features in the form of latitude and longitude values were incorporated into our *** utilizing a comprehensive dataset comprising weather conditions,air quality measurements,and location properties,various machine learning models,including Random Forest Regress.o.,XGBoost Regress.o.,AdaBoost Regress.o.,and a deep learning model known as Long s.o.t-Term Memory(LsTM)were *** experimental results demonstrated that the LsTM model outperforms the other models,achieving the best s.o.e with a root mean squared error of 23.48 in predicting fine dust(PM10)concentrations.o. an hourly ***,the fact that incorporating location properties,such as longitude and latitude values,enhances the overall quality of the regress.o. models was ***,the implications and contributions.o. our research were *** implementing our approach,the cost as.o.iated with relying solely on existing observatories can be substantially *** reduction in costs can pave the way for economically efficient fine dust observation systems,ensuring more widespread and accurate air quality monitoring across different regions.

Investigation of Refractory Bricks and oxide Materials Heated in Hydrogen Reduction Conditions

This study aims to provide the basic knowledge for furnace refractory design by investigating refractory property changes.o.curred in a hydrogen *** refractory bricks are thermodynamically stable in a hydrogen atmosphere at 1100°C,we tried to find out the minute *** this experiment,a refractory brick was prepared by andalusite,mullite chamotte,and clay as raw materials and heated to 1100°C in a 100%hydrogen atmosphere for 72 *** was found that the strength of the brick was decreased and the color was changed to black by the reduction of *** in addition,this study covered research on the slaking risk of Mgo raw materials because the minimum temperature is expected to 400°C in fluidized reduction furnaces unlike shaft furnaces.

Core-shell heterostructure by coupling layered Res_(2) with Co_(9)s_(8) nanocubes for boosted oxygen evolution reaction

The controllable morphology and composition of catalysts are crucial to improving the electrocatalytic activity of oxygen evolution reaction(oER).Herein,we construct a bimetallic heterostructure by sulfidation and hydrothermal methods,and the layered Res_(2)is vertically aligned on Prussian blue-derived hollow Co_(9)s_(8)nanocubes(Co_(9)s_(8)@Res_(2)).The core-shell structure of Co_(9)s_(8)@Res_(2)can effectively prevent the restacking of layered Res_(2),expose the abundant surface area and improve the utilization of electrocatalytic sites,resulting in fast electrolyte diffus.o. and charge transfer during *** to the synergistic effect of the core-shell morphology and the formed bimetallic heterostructure,Co_(9)s_(8)@Res_(2)exhibits excellent catalytic oER *** 10 mA/cm^(2),only 288 mV of overpotential is required with the Tafel s.o.e of 73.3 mV/dec for Co_(9)s_(8)@Res_(2),which are both lower than that of Co_(9)s_(8)and Res_(2).Meanwhile,Co_(9)s_(8)@Res_(2)exhibits high catalytic stability and low charge transfer resistance and the boosted active sites are confirmed by density functional *** work provides a rational design of the oER catalysts by constructing the bimetallic heterostructure.

Pre-polymerized vinyl trimethoxy silane(PVTMs)@MWCNT nano-aerogel system was constructed via radical polymerization,sol-gel transition and supercritical Co_(2)*** fabricated organic-inorganic hybrid PVTMs@MWCNT aerogel structure s.o.s nano-pore size(30-40 nm),high specific surface area(559 m^(2)g^(−1)),high void fraction(91.7%)and enhanced mechanical property:(1)the nano-pore size is beneficial for efficiently blocking thermal conduction and thermal convection via Knudsen effect(beneficial for infrared(IR)stealth);(2)the heterogeneous interface was beneficial for IR reflection(beneficial for IR stealth)and MWCNT polarization loss(beneficial for electromagnetic wave(EMW)attenuation);(3)the high void fraction was beneficial for enhancing thermal insulation(beneficial for IR stealth)and EMW impedance match(beneficial for EMW attenuation).Guided by the above theoretical design strategy,PVTMs@MWCNT nano-aerogel s.o.s superior EMW absorption property(cover all Ku-band)and thermal IR stealth property(ΔT reached 60.7℃).Followed by a facial combination of the above nano-aerogel with graphene film of high electrical conductivity,an extremely high electromagnetic interference shielding material(66.5 dB,2.06 mm thickness)with superior absorption performance of an average absorption-to-reflection(A/R)coefficient ratio of 25.4 and a low reflection bandwidth of 4.1 GHz(A/R ratio more than 10)was experimentally obtained in this work.
