City Digital Twins: their maturity level and differentiation from 3D city models

The emerging field of City Digital Twins has advanced in recent years with the help of digital infrastructure and technologies connected to the Internet of Things(IoT).However,the evolution of this field has been so fast that a gap has opened in relation to systematic reviews of the relevant literature and the maturation of City Digital Twins on an urban *** work bridges this gap by highlighting maturity in the *** conducted a systematic literature review with bibliometric and content analysis of 41 selected papers published in Web of Science and Scopus data-bases,covering five areas:data types and sources,case studies,applied technologies and methods,maturity spectrum,and *** on maturity indicators,the majority of the reviewed studies(90%)were at initial to medium stages of maturity(up to element 3),most of them focused on 3D modelling,monitoring and ***,digital twins cannot be limited to 3D models,monitoring and visualisation,for they can be developed to include two-directional interactions between humans and *** a high level of maturity,which was not found in the reviewed studies,requires advanced technologies and methods such as cloud computing,artificial intelligence,BIM and *** also found that further studies are essential if the field is to handle the complex urban challenges of multidisciplinary digital *** City Digital Twins extend by definition beyond mere 3D city modelling,some studies involving 3D city models still refer to their subjects as City Digital *** the research gaps we identified,we’d like to highlight the need for near-real-time data analytics algorithms,which could furnish City Digital Twins with big data *** opportunities include public participation capabilities to increase social collaboration,integrating BIM and GIS technologies and improving storage and computation infrastructure.

Deep learning in fault detection and diagnosis of building HVAC systems: A systematic review with meta analysis

Building sector account for significant global energy consumption and Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems contribute to the highest portion of building energy consumption. Therefore, the potential for energy saving by improving the efficiency of HVAC systems is huge and various fault detection and diagnosis (FDD) methods have been studied for this purpose. Although amongst all types of existing FDD methods, datadriven based ones are regarded as the most effective methods. As a relatively new branch of data-driven approaches, deep learning (DL) methods have shown promising results, a comprehensive review of DL applications in this area is absent. To fill the research gap, this systematic review with meta analysis analyses the relevant studies both quantitatively and qualitatively. The review is conducted by searching Web of Science, ScienceDirect, and Semantic search. There are 47 eligible studies included in this review following the preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analyses (PRISMA) protocol. 6 out of the 47 studies are identified as eligible for meta analysis of the effectiveness of DL methods for FDD. The most used DL method is 2D convolutional neural network (CNN). Results suggest that DL methods show promising results as a HVAC FDD. However, most studies use simulation/lab experiment data and real-world complexities are not fully investigated. Therefore, DL methods need to be further tested with real-world scenarios to support decision-making.

Marine macroalgal sulfated fucose-containing polysaccharides,like fucoidan,have drawn significant attention due to their biotechnological potentials,such as anti-cancer,antioxidant,and anti-cholinesterase *** fucoidan derived from brown macroalgae Sargassum angustifolium species(FSA)was investigated for its cytotoxic effects and alterations in cell proliferation,and cell cycle-related gene expression in the present study occurred on NB4 cell *** results showed that FSA would induce p53,p21,pro-apoptotic genes and increase expression of the p15 gene as a cell arrest ***,FSA inhibited the anti-apoptotic effect of the Bcl-2 gene and decreased dnmt-1 gene *** significantly exhibited potent 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl(DPPH)radical scavenging activity(p<0.05)with an IC_(50) value of 0.157 mg/mL and showed moderate anti-acetylcholinesterase activity with an IC_(50) value of 1.20μg/*** results indicated the potential of FSA for the development of therapeutic or preventive agents of cancer and Alzheimer’s disease mainly through cytotoxic effect and AChE(acetylcholinesterase)inhibition as well as additional antioxidant capacities.

Review and evaluation of methods in transport mode detection based on GPS tracking data

Mobility data,based on global positioning system(GPS)tracking,have been widely used in many areas,such as analyzing travel patterns,investigating transport safety and efficiency,and evaluating travel *** modes are essential factors in understanding mobility within the transport ***,in this study,a significant number of algorithms were tested for transport mode ***,no conclusive recommendations can be drawn regarding which method should be *** evaluation of the performance of the algorithms was not discussed systematically either in current *** paper aims to provide an in-depth review of the methods applied in transport mode detection based on GPS tracking *** performances of the reviewed methods are then compared and evaluated to provide guidance in choosing algorithms for transport mode detection based on GPS tracking *** results indicate that the majority of current studies are based on a supervised learning method for transport mode *** of the reviewed methods first require manual dataset labeling,which can produce major drawbacks,such as inefficiency and human *** was also found that deep learning approaches have the potential to deal with large amounts of unlabeled raw GPS datasets and increase the accuracy and efficiency of transport mode detection.

Structure Organization of Urinary System in the Yellow Spotted Mountain Newts (Salamandridae: Neurergus microspilotus)

This study deals with the histomorphology of the mesonephros in male and female Neurergus microspilotus. The slender and narrow kidneys are positioned in the retro peritoneal position up against the ventral aspect of vertebral column and may extend the length from the esophagus-stomach junction to cloaca. The kidney in both sexes is composed of sexual（anterior） and pelvic（posterior） parts. The duct of sexual kidney is a narrow duct which is lying alongside its lateral edge. In the female, it is connected to the ureters and then the duct of defi nitive kidney. Before entering the cloaca, two ureters are joined together and open to the apex of the cloaca. In the male, after entering the sexual kidney, the sperm leave the testis through efferent ducts, then these ducts join together and eventually form Bidder＇s duct. The Bidder＇s duct joins the Bowman＇s capsule of the nephrons in the sexual kidney and the nephrons make collecting ducts which are fi lled with both sperm and urine. After leaving the kidney, all the collecting ducts are connected to the Wolffi an duct. Wolffi an duct joins the ureters（merge from defi nitive kidney） just before entering the cloaca. Based on serial paraffi n sections, nephrons consist of a fi ltration unit, the Malpighian corpuscle, and a renal tubule, which can be divided into 4 morphologically distinct segments： proximal tubule（first and second segment）, distal tubule, and collecting tubule. Collecting tubules merge and form a branch system that opens into collecting ducts.

Microbiological and Histological Examinations of Endangered Neurergus kaiseri Tissues Displaying Red-leg Syndrome

Presence of the red leg syndrome （RLS） was documented through bacterial and histological examinations in the endangered Kaiser＇s mountain newt Neurergus kaiseri obtained from a pet shop. The individuals which were severely infected showed lethargy, appetite loss, weight loss, abdominal skin redness and skin ulcers on hind legs. This study reveals the presence of two bacteria causing RLS on the skin of captive AT. kaiseri including Proteus vulgaris and Bacillus cereus. Sections of skin in affected areas and internal organs were examined through standard histological procedures. Histologically, epidermal necrosis and ulcers, epidermal gland depletion, myositis and subcutaneous edema, gastric submucosal edema and hepatomegaly were seen. There were also correlations between the microbial infection and structural changes in tissues of Kaiser＇s mountain newt. The severity of the structural changes are related to the level of microbial infection in the target organs and could be sustained by the isolation of P. vulgaris and other pathogens. The presence of the infective bacterial population and their interaction on the skin of the newt may have changed the normal skin flora and facilitate the prevalence of other disease.

Consideration of Blood Serum Biochemical Parameters of Yellow Fin Sea Bream (<i>Acantopagrus latus</i>Houttuyn, 1782) and Orange-Spotted Grouper (<i>Epinephelus coioides</i>Hamilton, 1822)

Serum biochemical parameters are important aspects in the management of endangered species. The values of these parameters can be used for confirming the maturity and for monitoring any changes in the quality of waters and related soils. The aim of this research was to determine the reference values of biochemical factors in Acantopagrus latus and Epinephelus coioides. Blood samples were collected from captured fish from coastal waters of Chabahar (Ramin waterfront). Serum levels of glucose, Blood Urea Nitrogen (BUN), cholesterol (CHO), triglyceride, total protein, albumin, calcium (Ca2+), phosphorus (P), sodium (Na+), bilirubin and potassium (K+) were measured. The results showed that the levels of albumin and bilirubin in E. coioides were significantly higher than A. latus and there were significant differences in all of the serum values (except P and glucose) between A. latus and E. coioides (P < 0.05). It can be concluded that the values of blood biochemical parameters may be affected by physiological factors such as the species of fish.

氨基改性活性炭及其在水溶液中对铜的吸附特性(英文)

Activated carbons were prepared by two chemical methods and the adsorption of Cu(II) on activated carbons from aqueous solution containing amino groups was studied. The first method involved the chlorination of activated carbon following by substitution of chloride groups with amino groups, and the second involved the nitrilation of activated carbon with reduction of nitro groups to amino groups. Resultant activated carbons were characterized in terms of porous structure, elemental analysis, FTIR spectroscopy, XPS, Boehm titration,and p Hzpc. Kinetic and equilibrium tests were performed for copper adsorption in the batch mode. Also,adsorption mechanism and effect of p H on the adsorption of Cu(II) ions were discussed. Adsorption study shows enhanced adsorption for copper on the modified activated carbons, mainly by the presence of amino groups, and the Freundlich model is applicable for the activated carbons. It is suggested that binding of nitrogen atoms with Cu(II) ions is stronger than that with H+ions due to relatively higher divalent charge or stronger electrostatic force.

Prevalence of cryptosporidiosis in animals in Iran: A systematic review and meta-analysis

Objective:To review the prevalence of cryptosporidiosis among animal population of ***:Data were systematically gathered from 1 January 2000 to 1 January 2020 in the Islamic Republic of Iran from the following electronic databases:Pub Med,Springer,Google Scholar,Science Direct,Scopus,Web of Science,Magiran,and Scientific Information Database(SID).According to the preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analyses(PRISMA)and inclusion criteria,88 eligible studies were ***:The pooled prevalence of cryptosporidiosis using random and fixed effects model according to heterogeneity among animals was as follows:rodents 18.8%(95%CI 12.6%-25.0%),camels 17.1%(95%CI 8.6%-25.7%),cattle 16.8%(95%CI 13.4%-20.1%),goats 14.1%(95%CI 5.2%-23.0%),horses 12.2%(95%CI 8.3%-16.2%),birds 10.5%(95%CI 7.6%-13.4%),sheep 9.9%(95%CI 2.4%-4.9%),cats 8.8%(95%CI 4.8%-12.8%)and dogs 3.7%(95%CI 7.0%-12.8%).Conclusions:Cryptosporidiosis has been reported and present in a wide range of animals in Iran over the years and has a high prevalence in most of these species.
