Dielectric barrier discharge(DBD)plasma technology has proven effective in controlling postharvest fungus in fruits and ***,its mechanism of action is rarely *** this study,DBD technology was investigated to inhibit apricot diseases under the conditions of shelf simulation,and its mechanism was *** fruits and pathogenic fungal spores were treated with DBD of different voltage intensities(fruits:80 kV,90 kV,100 kV;spores:80 kV,100 kV,120 kV).Experimental data showed that DBD plasma treatment signifi-cantly reduced the microbial biomass on the surface of apricot fruit and inhibit Rhizopus oryzae and Alternaria *** oryzae and Alternaria tenuissima’s spore germination decreased by 74.7%and 82.0%,respectively,after 40 s of processing with 100 kV DBD *** investigate DBD plasma’s antibacterial mechanism,deoxyribonucleic acid damage and the morphological characteristics of fungal spores were deter-mined;this indicated that DBD plasma treatment resulted in nuclear degradation and cell *** addition,DBD treatment enhanced apricots’expression of phenylalanine ammonia-lyase 1(PAL1),aldehyde dehydrogenase 2B7(ALDH2B7)and GDP-L-galactose phosphorylase(VTC2),delayed disease and improved quality under shelf storage *** results demonstrated that DBD plasma treatment could control the primary diseases of apricot fruit and enhance the quality by destroying microbial spores and activating the disease-resistant genes of the fruit.

An environmental input output model (EIOM) was introduced to the regional solid waste management sectors, which can reflect the direct and indirect relations between the environment and the regional economy development. Some details about how to use the EIOM was discussed. The EIOM was applied to the Changsha City in China. The example results indicate that much useful information related to the environment and the regional economy development can be gained from the solution of the EIOM. Thus, the EIOM can be used as a useful tool for the sustainable development planning including the solid waste management sectors.

Alcoholic liver disease(ALD) has become one of the leading causes of death in the world. Berbamine(BM), a natural product mainly derived from Berberis vulgaris L, possesses multiple bioactivities as a traditional medicine. However, the protective effect of BM on ALD remains unknown. In this study, we investigated the effect of BM on ethanol-induced hepatic injury in mice and its underlying mechanism. It was shown that BM at 0.3125-40 μmol·L^-1 had no effect on macrophages and hepatocytes proliferation. BM at 5-20 μmol·L^-1 significantly inhibited lipopolysaccharide(LPS) or acetate-induced IL-1β and IL-6 m RNA expression in RAW264.7 cells. Moreover, BM treatment significantly inhibited LPS-induced p65 and STAT3 phosphorylation in RAW264.7 cells. Hepatic histopathology analysis showed that inflammatory cells infiltration and lipid accumulation were suppressed by 25 and 50 mg·kg^-1 BM administration in ethanol-induced hepatic injury mouse model. Meanwhile, BM treatment significantly inhibited serum ALT and AST levels in ethanol-fed mice. Oil red O staining results showed that BM administration ameliorated hepatic lipid accumulation in ethanolfed mice. Preventions of ethanol-induced hepatic injury by BM were reflected by markedly decreased serum and hepatic triglyceride(TG) and total cholesterol(TC) contents. Real-time PCR results showed that BM treatment significantly inhibited pro-inflammatory cytokines m RNA expression in ethanol-fed mouse liver. Remarkably, the mechanism of action of BM was related to the reduction of ethanol-induced NF-κB and STAT3 phosphorylation levels in liver. In addition, BM treatment significantly inhibited ERK phosphorylation but not JNK and p38 of MAPK pathway. Taken together, our results demonstrate a beneficial effect of BM on ethanol-induced liver injury via a mechanism associated with inactivation of NF-κB, STAT3 and ERK pathway, which gives insight into the further evaluation of the therapeutic potential of BM for ALD.

For space-based gravitational wave （GW） detection,the main noise source for massive black hole binaries （MBHBs） is attributed to approximately 10～7double white dwarf binaries in the *** a GW source,the amplitude of the detector response,recorded by a space-based gravitational wave detector,exhibits a modulation effect with a year period when observing the source from various orbital *** the adverse conditions mentioned above,where there is a strong foreground noise and annual modulation in the signals,we employed the wavelet transform and the strong-amplitude relevant orbital position search methods,which allows the weak MBHB sources to achieve higher locating *** detail,for two MBHB sources of lower intensity,the precision of luminosity distance,represented by the ratio ?DL/DLat the 95%confidence level,is enhanced by factors of ～*** angular resolutions,denoted by??s,are enhanced by a factor of ～*** improvements increase the number of detectable GW sources,facilitate multi-messenger follow-up observations and provide constraints on the cosmological constant.
