Occurrence and vertical distribution of aluminum and rare earths in weathered crust elution-deposited rare earth ore:Effect of soil solution pH and clay minerals

Weathered crust elution-deposited rare earth ore is crucial source of medium and heavy rare earths,with in-situ leaching being the most common mining *** high contents of impurity of aluminum in the leach solution are a significant challenge for the subsequent enrichment process of rare earths.A comprehensive understanding of the occurrences and vertical distribution of aluminum and rare earths within typical vertical profiles can provide valuable insights into entire design of the in-situ *** paper improves a five-step sequential extraction method to analyze the occurrence and vertical distribution of rare earths and aluminum in vertical profiles from Chongzuo and *** results demonstrate that soil solution pH is the main factor affecting the vertical distribution of ionexchangeable rare *** samples have distinct areas of enrichment for ion-exchangeable rare earths or ***-exchangeable rare earths are primary concentrated in the middle and lower parts of the ore layer(4-13 m in Chongzuo,14-22 m in Longyan),while the ion-exchangeable aluminum is mainly enriched in the upper part of the ore layer(1-5 m in Chongzuo,and 2-14 m in Longyan).The vertical distribution of inorganic hydroxy aluminum is likely influenced by the micromorphology and particle size of the clay *** inorganic hydroxy aluminum concentration in Chongzuo samples decreases continuously from 415.65 to 120.95 mg/kg with increasing sampling depth,whereas the concentration in Longyan samples(110.55-171.27 mg/kg)is almost independence with sampling *** results provide direct guidance for the entire design of the injection well depth and the leaching parameters,thereby inhibiting the leaching of impurity of aluminum and lower the consumption of leaching agent.

Efficient capture,safe storage and release of tritium from the international thermonuclear experimental reactor(ITER) reaction exhaust gas is a perplexing problem,and the development of an efficient tritium-getter material with ultra-low hydrogenation equilibrium pressure is considered as a reliable *** this work,Zr_(2)Co alloy was selected as a tritium-getter material and prepared through induction levitation *** performance test results show that Zr_(2)Co exhibits an ultra-low hydrogenation equilibrium pressure of 3.22 × 10^(-6) Pa at 25℃ and excellent hydriding kinetics under a low hydrogen pressure of 0.005 ***,unique phase transition behaviors were presented in Zr_(2)Co-H ***,Zr_(2)CoH_(5) formed by Zr_(2)Co hydrogenated at room temperature is initially decomposed into ZrH_(2) and ZrCoH_(3) at200 ℃.With the temperature increasing to 350 ℃,ZrCoH_(3)is dehydrogenated to ZrCo,and then ZrCo further reacts with ZrH_(2) at 650 ℃ to reform Zr_(2)Co and *** the staged phase transition pathways during dehydrogenation,the decomposition of Zr_(2)CoH_(5) occurs preferentially,which is well accordance with both the smallest reaction energy barrier and the maximum reaction spontaneity that are determined respectively from kinetics activation energy and thermodynamics Gibbs free ***,first principles calculation results indicate that the stronger binding of hydrogen in interstitial environments of ZrCoH_(3)and ZrH_(2) triggers the hydrogen-stabilized phase transformation of Zr_(2)CoH_(5).The unique phase transition mechanisms in Zr_(2)Co-H system can shed light on the further exploration and regulation of analogous staged phase transition of hydrogen storage materials.

RuO2/CoMo2Ox Catalyst with Low Ruthenium Loading for Long-Term Acidic Oxygen Evolution

We must urgently synthesize highly efficient and stable oxygen-evolution reaction（OER） catalysts for acidic media. Herein, we constructed a series of Ti mesh（TM）-supported RuO2/CoMoyOxcatalysts（RuO2/CoMoyOx/TM） with heterogeneous structures. By optimizing the ratio of Co to Mo, RuO2/CoMo2Ox/TM with low Ru loading（0.079 mg/cm2） achieves remarkable OER performance（ η = 243 mV at 10 mA/cm2） and high stability（300 h @ 10 mA/cm2） in 0.5 mol/L H 2 SO 4 electrolyte. The activity of RuO2/CoMoyOx/TM can be maintained for 50 h at 100 mA/cm2, and a water electrolyzer with RuO2/CoMo2Ox/TM as anode can operate for 40 h at 100 mA/cm2, suggesting the remarkable OER durability of RuO2/CoMoyOx/TM in acidic electrolyte. Owing to the heterogeneous interface between CoMo2Oxand RuO2, the electronic structure of Ru atoms was optimized and electron-rich Ru was formed. With modulated electronic properties, the dissociation energy of H2O is weakened, and the OER barrier is lowered. This study provides the design of low-cost noble metal catalysts with long-term stability in an acidic environment.

Multi-Objective Equilibrium Optimizer for Feature Selection in High-Dimensional English Speech Emotion Recognition

Dietary fishmeal replacement by Clostridium autoethanogenum protein meal influences the nutritional and sensory quality of turbot(Scophthalmus maximus)via the TOR/AAR/AMPK pathways

Clostridium autoethanogenum protein(CAP)is a promising protein source for aquaculture;however,how CAP influences fish quality is worth extensive *** randomly allocated 630 turbot with initial body weights of about 180 g into 6 groups,with fishmeal-based control diet or diet with CAP replacing 15%(CAP15),30%(CAP30),45%(CAP45),60%(CAP60),or 75%(CAP75)of fishmeal *** a 70-d feeding trial,the fillet yield(P=0.015)and content of protein(P=0.017),collagen(P 0.05).By contrast,the muscle hardness increased linearly with increasing CAP(P=0.004),accompanied by linear reduction of muscle fiber area(P=0.003)and expression of myogenesis-related genes,including cathepsin D(ctsdP<0.001)and muscle ring finger protein 1(murf 1,P<0.001).Phosphorylation of protein kinase B(Akt,P<0.001),target of rapamycin(TOR,P=0.001),eukaryotic initiation factor 4E-binding protein 1(4E-BP1,P<0.001),and ribosomal protein S6(S6,P<0.001)decreased linearly;however,phosphorylation of AMP-activated protein kinase(AMPK,P<0.001),eukaryotic initiation factor 2α(eIF2α,P<0.001),and the abundance of activating transcription factor 4(ATF4,P<0.001)increased with increasing CAP,suggesting that the TOR signaling pathway was inhibited,and the amino acid response(AAR)and AMPK pathways were ***,expression of genes related to protein degradation,including myogenic factor 5(myf 5,P<0.001),myogenic differentiation(myod,P<0.001),paired box 7(pax 7,P<0.001),and ctsd(P<0.001),decreased linearly with increasing *** conclusion,CAP could be used to replace up to 15%of fishmeal without negatively impacting turbot ***,higher levels of CAP decreased fillet yield,muscle protein content,and muscle fiber diameter while increasing muscle hardness,which could be attributed to the inhibition of the TOR pathway and activation of the AAR and AMPK pathways.
