Objective:To investigate the effects of Korean Magnolia obovata crude extract(KME)on plateletderived growth factor(PDGF)-BB-induced proliferation and migration of vascular smooth muscle cells(VSMCs).Methods:KME composition was analyzed by high-performance liquid chromatography(HPlC).VSMCs were isolated from the aorta of a Sprague-Dawley rat,incubated in serum free-Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium in the presence or absence of KME(10,30,100,and 300(xg/ml),then further treated with PDGF-BB(10 ng/ml).VSMC proliferation was detected using the 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide assay and VSMC migration was determined using the Boyden chamber and scratch wound healing *** blot analysis was used to detect phosphorylation of extracellular signal-regulated protein kinases 1 and 2(p-ERK1/2),protein kinase B(p-Akt),and stress-activated protein kinase/c-Jun NH2-terminal kinase(p-SAPK/JNK).The antimigration and proliferation effects of KME were tested using aortic sprout ***:The HPlC analysis identified honokiol(0.45 mg/g)and magnolol(0.34 mg/g)as the major components of ***(30,100,and 300μg/m l)significantly decreased the proliferation and migration of PDGF-BB-stimulated(10 ng/ml)VSMCs and the PDGF-BB-induced phosphorylation of EKR1/2,Akt,and SAPK/JNK(Pl of KME showed reduction in aortic sprout ***:KME could inhibit abnormal proliferation and migration of VSMCs by down-regulating the phosphorylation of EKR1/2 and ***,KME might be a functional food for preventing vascular disorders.

近年来,火电机组因调速系统稳定性变差引发超低频振荡现象时有发生,对电网的安全稳定运行带来较大影响。文章基于这一背景,通过分析某电网发生的超低频振荡案例,研究火电机组超振荡现象与调速系统中一次调频动作之间的关联性,设计一种能够高度识别低频振荡发生甄别策略,以及基于广义滤波的一次调频优化控制策略。建模仿真及优化应用结果表明,该方案既能够有效抑制因机组调速系统不稳定引发的超低频振荡事件的发生,又能够显著提升调频动作积分电量,从而提高电力系统的本质安全。

Objective:To investigate the relationship between serum electrolyte changes and cisplatin induced ***:We collected data from 18 patients undergoing cisplatin chemotherapy including serum electrolytes,creatinine,blood urea nitrogen(BUN) and urine potassium,sodium and pH levels before and after the cisplatin *** the patients had cancer and were treated with 40-50 mg/day *** injury was assessed by measuring serum electrolytes,creatinine,BUN levels and urine potassium,sodium and pH levels. Results:The five cycles of cisplatin based chemotherapy resulted in hypomagnesia(P=0.029), hypocalcaemia(P=0.001~*),hypophosphatemia(P=0.003*),hypokalemia(P=0.001~*)and increased serum creatinine(P=0.001~*)and BUN(P=0.292~*)*** urine analysis,decrease in potassium(P=0.024~*)was found,except potassium there was no significant changes in sodium and urine pH. Conclusions:The present study demonstrates that,acute nephrotoxicity was observed in patients with different types of cancers undergoing cisplatin based chemotherapy due to electrolyte disturbances,when no corrective measures were initiated.

This work demonstrated the viability of friction stir welding for the welding of medium-Mn steels when used as cryogenic vessel materials for liquefied gas *** used an intercritically annealed Fe-7 Mn-0.2 C-3 Al(wt.%)steel with a dual-phase(α'martensite andγ_(R) retained austenite)nanolaminate structure as a base material and systematically compared its microstructure and impact toughness after friction stir and tungsten inert gas *** friction stir welded specimen exhibited a large amount ofγ_(R) phase owing to a relatively low temperature during welding,whereas the tungsten inert gas welded specimen comprised only theα'***,the friction stir welded steel exhibited a tuned morphology of nanoscale globular microstructure at the weld zone and did not exhibit any prior austenite grain boundary due to active recrystallization caused by deformation during *** preserved fraction ofγ_(R) and morphological tuning in the weldment improved the impact toughness of the friction stir welded steel at low *** the steel processed by tungsten inert gas welding,the notch crack propagated rapidly along the prior austenite grain boundaries-weakened by Mn and P segregations-resulting in poor impact ***,the friction stir welded steel exhibited a higher resistance against notch crack propagation due to the slow crack propagation along the ultrafine ferrite/ferrite(α/α)interfaces,damage tolerance by the active transformation-induced plasticity from the large amount ofγR,and enhanced boundary cohesion by suppressed Mn and P segregations.

Riemann problems for the compressible Euler system in two space dimensions are complicated and difficult,but a viable alternative remains *** author lists merits of one-dimensional Riemann problems and compares them with those for the current two-dimensional Riemann problems,to illustrate their ***-dimensional Riemann problems are approached via the methodology promoted by Andy Majda in the spirits of modern applied mathematics;that is,simplified model is built via asymptotic analysis,numerical simulation and theoretical analysis.A simplified model called the pressure gradient system is derived from the full Euler system via an asymptotic ***-of-the-art numerical methods in numerical simulations are used to discern small-scale structures of the solutions,e.g.,semi-hyperbolic *** methods are used to establish the validity of the structure revealed in the numerical *** entire process,used in many of Majda's programs,is shown here for the two-dimensional Riemann problems for the compressible Euler systems of conservation laws.

There are five vital signs that healthcare providers assess: temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, and pain. Normal levels for the five vital signs are published by the American Heart Association, and other specialty organizations, however, the sixth vital sign (resilience) which adopts the measure of immune resilience is suggested in this paper. Resilience is the ability of the immune system to respond to attacks and defend effectively against infections and inflammatory stressors, and psychological resilience is the capacity to resist, adapt, recover, thrive, and grow from a challenge or a stressor. Individuals with better optimal immune resilience had better health outcomes than those with minimal immune resilience. The purpose of this paper is to conceptualize, contextualize, and operationalize all six vital signs. We suggest measuring resilience subjectively and objectively. Subjectively, use a 5-item guided interview revised from the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CDRC), a scale of 10 items. The revised CDRC scale is a 5-item scale. The scale is rated on a 5-point likert scale from 0 (not true) to 4 (true all the time). The total score ranges from 0 to 20, with higher total scores indicating greater resilience. The scale demonstrated good construct validity and internal consistency (α = 0.85) during the development of the scale. The CD-RISC had a good Cronbach’s alpha level of 0.85. The Revised CD-RISC can be completed in 2 - 4 minutes. To measure resilience objectively, we suggest using Immune Resilience (IR) levels, the level of resilience to preserve and/or rapidly restore immune resilience functions that promote disease resistance and control inflammation and other inflammatory stress. IR levels are gauged with two peripheral blood metrics that quantify the balance between CD8 and CD4 T-cell levels and gene expression signatures tracking longevity-associated immunocompetence and mortality- or entropy-associated inflammation. Background:Hepatitis B virus-associated glomerulonephritis(HBV-GN)is one of the extrahepatic manifestations after HBV infection,which would cause great clinical harm to *** present study was undertaken to investigate the HBV-GN genotypes and its clinical relevance in Chinese ***:A total of 41 HBV-infected children diagnosed with HBV-GN were enrolled in the *** patients underwent liver and kidney *** genotypes and cccDNA were detected in their serum samples to analyze the relationship between HBV genotypes and clinical characteristics,cccDNA,and ***:Among the 41 children with HBV-GN,29(70.7%)had genotype C,10(24.4%)had genotype B,2(4.9%)had genotype B/C,and none of them had genotype non-B/*** children had genotypes B or C;moreover,the genotype C was the most frequent *** incidence of hematuria and albuminuria,reduction in complement C3,increase in serum alanine aminotransferase levels and renal insufficiency in the children with genotype C were signifi cantly higher than those in the children with genotype B(Plly significant difference in hypertension and hepatomegaly(P>0.05).The frequency of HBV cccDNA positive in the genotype C group was significantly higher than that in the genotype B group(72.4%vs.30.0%,Ppatic inflammation grades and stages of fibrosis between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Genotype C was the most frequent genotype in the described group of patients with HBV-GN,and the liver and kidney damage indicators were more likely to occur in patients with genotype C.
