Paleoproterozoic Bijawars of the Sonrai basin consists of(a) Sonrai(mostly carbonate carbonaceous shale and phosphatic breccia) and(b) Solda Formations(commonly chloritic and ferruginous shale) with well-developed clay-organo-rich facies,often marked with hydrothermal *** studies revealed abundance order of kaolinite> chlorite> illite> smectite;and kaolinite> illite> chlorite in clay(0.2-2.0 μm) fractions separated from the Sonrai and Solda Formations,*** understand atomic substitutions and trace elemental concentrations,clay minerals were analyzed by fusion IcPMS and *** normalized data plots show U,Th,Rb,Ba,Pb Sr,and large-ion lithophiles enrichment,whereas,Bandai sandstone and Rohini carbonate clays show HREE enrichment with asymmetrical patterns,similar to those reported from the well-established McArthur River,cigar Lake,and Sue UTUD of *** Rohni carbonate,chondrite-normalized REE data plots revealed M shape REE patterns,ascribed to Gd-Tb-Dy-Ho tetrad effect and anomalous Y,Zr,and Hf *** to HREE incorporation in the clay inter-layers,linear and flattened REE trends were *** REE patterns associated with the highly altered chlorite and illite represent negative Eu anomaly related to the dilational nature of the uraninite structure and is suggestive of anoxic conditions.

crop models are widely used to predict plant growth,water input requirements,and ***,existing models are very complex and require hundreds of variables to perform *** to these shortcomings,large-scale applications of crop models are *** order to address these limitations,reliable crop models were developed using a deep neural network(DNN)–a new approach for predicting crop *** addition,the number of required input variables was reduced using three common variable selection techniques:namely Bayesian variable selection,Spearman's rank correlation,and Principal component Analysis Feature *** reduced-variableDNN modelswere capable of estimating future crop yields for 10,000,000 differentweather and irrigation scenarios while maintaining comparable accuracy levels to the original model that used all input *** establish clear superiority of the methodology,the results were also compared with a very recent feature selection algorithm called min-redundancy max-relevance(mRMR).The results of this study showed that the Bayesian variable selection was the best method for achieving the aforementioned ***,the final Bayesian-based DNN model with a structure of 10 neurons in 5 layers performed very similarly(78.6%accuracy)to the original DNN cropmodel with 400 neurons in 10 layers,even though the size of the neural network was reduced by *** effort can help promote sustainable agricultural intensifications through the large-scale application of crop models.

The importance of cryptocurrency to the global economy is increasing steadily,which is evidenced by a total market capitalization of over$2.18T as of December 17,2021,according to ***(coin,2021).cryptocurrencies are too confusing for laymen and require more *** this study,we analyze the impact that the effective reproductive rate,an epidemiological indicator of the spread of cOVID-19,has on both the price and trading volume of eight of the largest digital currencies—Bitcoin,Ethereum,Tether,Ripple,Litecoin,Bitcoin cash,cardano,and *** hypothesize that as the rate of spread decreases,the trading price of the digital currency *** Generalized Autoregressive conditional Heteroskedasticity models,we find that the impact of the spread of cOVID-19 on the price and trading volume of cryptocurrencies varies by currency and *** findings offer novel insight into the cryptocurrency market and the impact that the viral spread of cOVID-19 has on the value of the major cryptocurrencies.

The demand for alternative low-grade iron ores is on the rise due to the rapid depletion of high-grade natural iron ore resources and the increased need for steel usage in daily ***,the use of low-grade iron ores is a constant clinical task for industry *** smelting of low-grade ores consumes a substantial amount of energy due to the large volume of slag *** condition can be avoided by direct reduction followed by magnetic separation(to separate the high amount of gangue or refractory and metal parts)and *** overburden(cOB)is a mine waste generated in chromite ore processing,and it mainly consists of iron,chromium,and nickel(cs of the solid-state reduction of self-reduced pellets prepared using low-grade iron ore(cOB)were thoroughly investigated via thermal *** results showed that the reduction of pellets followed a firstorder autocatalytic reaction control mechanism in the temperature range of 900-1100℃.The autocatalytic nature of the reduction reaction was due to the presence of nickel in the *** apparent activation energy obtained from the kinetics results showed that the solid-state reactions between cOB and carbon were the rate-determining step in iron oxide reduction.

Landslide susceptibility maps are vital tools used by decision-makers to adopt mitigation strategies for future *** this context,research on landslide susceptibility modelling has become a topic of relevance and is in constant *** various machine-learning techniques(MLTs)have been identified for landslide susceptibility modelling,the uncertainty inherent in the models is rarely *** present study attempts to quantify the uncertainty associated with landslide prediction models by developing a new methodological framework based on the ensembles of the eight *** methodology has been tested at the highlands of the southern Western Ghats region(Kerala,India),where landslides have frequently been *** landslide conditioning factors have been identified as part of this study,and their association was correlated with 671 historic landslides in the study *** study used four ensemble models such as the mean of probabilities,the median of probabilities,the weighted mean of probabilities,and the committee *** weighted mean of probability was proved to be the best model based on the average of 800 standalone MLTs,viz.,receiver operating characteristics,true skill statistics,and area under curve with corresponding validation ***,an uncertainty analysis was carried out on the coefficient of variation.A confident map was generated to represent the distinct zonation of landslide susceptibility areas with definite uncertainty *** 74%of the past landslides fall in the higher susceptibility-low uncertainty *** is also inferred that such micro-level zonation based on MLTs may improve the efficiency of landslide susceptibility maps and may help in accurately identifying landslide-prone areas in the *** confident maps thus generated can be used as a ready reference to the planners for the formulation of landslide adaptation strategies at micro-scales.

Mesoporous titanium-aluminosilicate as an efficient catalyst for selective oxidation of cyclohexene at mild reaction conditions

Mesoporous titanium containing alumino-silicate materials with various titanium/silicon(Ti/Si) ratio(AlSi-Ti(n);n = Ti/Si mole ratio) have been successfully synthesized by a novel single-step sodium(Na)-free method, for the first time. The obtained characterization results of the prepared materials reveal that in-situ addition of Ti into AlSi shows ordered mesoporous structure along with uniformly dispersed Ti species in +4 and +3 oxidation states suitable for selective oxidation of allylic c—H bond. The prepared mesoporouse Ti-AlSi(n) samples exhibited excellent activity in the oxidation of cyclohexene with 100%conversion and 100% selectivity to ketone-alcohol(KA) oil(cyclohex-2-en-1-ol and 2-cyclohexen-1-one) at low temperature and reaction time(35℃ and 30 min reaction time). This study suggests that AlSi-Ti(0.05) material can be a promising catalyst for the selective oxidation of cyclohexene under mild reaction conditions.

OBJEcTIVE： Ayurvedic formulations are preferred over other formulations as well as commercialized on broad level to treat various ailments. The World Health Organization has established certain guidelines for quality control of heavy metals and pesticide residues. Bacopa monnieri, a popular herb with immunomodulator and memory-enhancing properties is the chief constituent of several Ayurvedic formulations, which include Brahmi Vati （BV）, Brahmi Ghrita （BG） and Saraswat churna （Sc）, etc. In view of the World Health Organization guidelines, two products of each formulation from six different manufacturers were purchased from Ayurvedic Pharmacy, Bulanala-Varanasi, India for testing heavy metal and pesticide residue. METHODS： In the present study, all the formulations--BY, BG and Sc--were selected for estimation of four heavy metals namely lead （Pb）, cadmium （cd）, chromium （cr） and nickel （Ni） by a plasma emission spectrophotometer. Organochlorine pesticidal residues were estimated for dichlorodiphenyl trichloroethane, isomers of hexachlorocyclohexane （HcH） and a-endosulfan, etc. in total 12 samples of test formulations containing Bacopa monnieri L. using gas chromatography technique. RESULTS： Out of 12 samples, Pb, cd, cr and Ni were present in all samples but below the permissible limit. Although atrazine, aldrin, dialdrin were in below detection limit, but other pesticides were detected in some samples as oxamyl, hexachlorocyclohexanes （α-HcH, β-HcH and y-HcH）, dichlorodiphenyl trichloroethane and dichlorodiphenyl dichloroethylene. cONcLUSION： The presence of heavy metals in evaluation of heavy metals and pesticide residue the formulations was low to cause toxicity. However n every batch is necessary.

Magma mixing dynamics in a vertically zoned granitic magma chamber inferred from feldspar disequilibrium assemblage and biotite composition: a case study from the Mikir Massif,eastern India

The Kathalguri Pluton is a granitic pluton confined within the Palaeo-Mesoproterozoic Shillong Group of rocks in the Mikir Massif, eastern India. The pluton is vertically zoned characterized by lower medium-to coarsegrained equigranular to porphyritic granite and upper finegrained equigranular granite. Small to large mafic magmatic enclaves(MME) are distributed within the lower granite, while homogeneous grey-coloured hybrid rocks dominate the upper granite. From field relationships, textural features, and mineral chemical analyses we infer that the Kathalguri Pluton was a vertically zoned felsic magma chamber that was intruded by mafic magma during its evolution. The lower portion of the magma chamber was occupied by crystal mush, while the upper portion was dominated by melt when mafic magma intruded it. The occurrence of upper and lower zonations was probably brought about by fractional crystallization. The presence of such zonations within the felsic reservoir caused the mafic magma to interact with the two distinct zones differently,forming MME in the lower granite and homogeneous hybrid rocks in the upper portion. The plagioclase compositions of the larger MME, smaller MME, hybrid rocks,and granitic host rocks vary between An;–An;, An;–An;, An;–An;,and An;–An;respectively. The alkali feldspar compositions of the hybrid rocks range from Or;to Or;, while that of the host granite varies from Or;to Or;. The biotite is eastonitic and siderophyllitic in composition, while the pyroxene is diopside. The apparent pressure range of biotite crystallization in the granitic rocks was calculated at 1.93 to 2.28 kbar, while the biotite crystallization temperature for the different rock types is in the range of 628 and 759 ℃. Oxygen fugacity estimates from the biotite suggest that the Kathalguri magmas crystallized at fO;conditions above the nickel-nickel oxide(NNO) buffer.
