Effect of CuO Doping on the Electrical Behavior of ZrO2

Electrical conductivity has been measured at different temperatures for ZrO2 doped with various molar ratios of CuO. The conductivity increases due to migration of vacancies, created by doping. The conductivity was found to increase with increase in temperature till 220℃ and thereafter decrease due to collapse of the fluorite framework. A second rise in conductivity around 500 ℃ was observed due to phase transition of ZrO2. X-ray powder diffraction, DTA and IR studies were carried out for confirming doping effect and phase transition in ZrO2.

In India,the majority of urban roads are undivided where the behavior of flows in a particular direction is predominantly influenced by the opposing *** to lack of lane segregation,the vehicles in ongoing direction occupy the opposing lane,which increases the lateral interactions between *** lateral interactions are influenced by various parameters such as vehicle types,driver behavior and vehicular *** of such complex interactions plays an important role in evaluating various management measures using microscopic simulation *** lateral characteristics of vehicles,such as placement,separation and movement,act as necessary input for simulation *** present study aims to analyze and model the lateral characteristics of vehicles on two-lane urban undivided *** achieve this,traffic flow data were collected from an urban undivided mid-block section in Bangalore City,India,using video graphic *** linear regression model was developed for predicting the lateral placement of subject vehicle and it was found that lateral placement of subject vehicle is influenced by types and speeds of subject and opposing *** separation for different types of ongoing(subject)and opposing pairs was also *** results show that both the ongoing and opposing vehicles have less freedom to move laterally when their sizes increase and hence,lateral separation *** choice of path of vehicles’lateral shifts(left,current and right)on urban undivided roads was modeled using multinomial logistic *** shift of a vehicle is influenced by speeds of subject vehicle and leader vehicle in current path,speed of leader vehicle in target path,and lateral gap between leader vehicles in current path and target path.

We present and experimentally study the effects of the photonic spin–orbit coupling on the real space propagation of polariton wavepackets in planar semiconductor microcavities and polaritonic analogues of *** particular,we demonstrate the appearance of an analogue Zitterbewegung effect,a term which translates as‘trembling motion’in English,which was originally proposed for relativistic Dirac electrons and consisted of the oscillations of the centre of mass of a wavepacket in the direction perpendicular to its *** a planar microcavity,we observe regular Zitterbewegung oscillations whose amplitude and period depend on the wavevector of the *** then extend these results to a honeycomb lattice of coupled microcavity *** to the planar cavity,such lattices are inherently more tuneable and versatile,allowing simulation of the Hamiltonians of a wide range of important physical *** observe an oscillation pattern related to the presence of the spin-split Dirac cones in the *** both cases,the experimentally observed oscillations are in good agreement with theoretical modelling and independently measured bandstructure parameters,providing strong evidence for the observation of Zitterbewegung.

Endoscopic cryotherapy is a relatively new thermal ablative modality used for the treatment of neoplastic lesions of the esophagus. It relies on cycles of rapid cooling and thawing to induce tissue destruction with a cryogen(liquid nitrogen or carbon dioxide) leading to intra and extra-cellular damage. Surgical treatment was once considered the standard therapeutic intervention for neoplastic diseases of the esophagus and is associated with considerable rates of morbidity and mortality. Several trials that evaluated cryotherapy in Barrett's esophagus(BE) associated neoplasia showed reasonable efficacy rates and safety profile. Cryotherapy has also found applications in the treatment of esophageal cancer, both for curative and palliative intent. Cryotherapy has also shown promising results as salvage therapy in cases refractory to radiofrequency ablation treatment. Cryoballoon focal ablation using liquid nitrogen is a novel mode of cryogen delivery which has been used for the treatment of BE with dysplasia and squamous cell carcinoma. Most common side effects of cryotherapy reported in the literature include mild chest discomfort, esophageal strictures and bleeding. In conclusion, cryotherapy is an effective and safe method for the treatment of esophageal neoplastic processes, ranging from early stages of low grade dysplasia to esophageal cancer.

Semecarpus kurzii *** an important ethnomedicinal plant used for curing tumours,inflammation,fever and pain,and is also a source of iso ricinoleic *** the present investigation,effect of chemical pretreatments on germination and seedling growth revealed significant *** pre-treatments could improve germination and treatment with KNO_3 （9.9 mM）was significantly superior（94%） to the untreated control（76%）.Mean daily germination varied among the treatments（0.90–4.14 seeds per day）,when compared with 2.27 seeds per day in *** germination time was significantly reduced from 22.14 days（control） to 16.40 days（19.8 mM KNO_3） and 17.16 days（1.45 mM GA_3）.Treatment with KNO_3（19.8 mM） and GA_3（1.45 and 2.90 mM）significantly reduced the time for 50% *** with higher concentrations of GA_3 and KNO_3 exhibited significantly faster germination initiation（11.0 and 12.0 days,respectively） over the control（17.0 days）.Seedling vigour index was not improved by *** treatments did not improve shoot growth,collar thickness,or number of seedling leaves; however,root growth was significantly improved over *** with GA_3（2.90 mM） promoted leaf elongation but reduced leaf width *** with KNO_3 and GA_3 could be recommended to obtain healthy seedlings for establishing new plantations of this important medicinal plant species.

In late Dec.2019,a huge number of pneumonia cases caused by novel coronavirus were reported in China.2019-nCoV pandemic has influenced on millions of people's life across the *** novel coronavirus was identified to be similar with MERS and ***,researchers and academicians across the world still trying to find out vaccines,new drug molecules against *** principle point of this review article is to explain the activity of favipiravir in preventing *** view of constrained data available in the literature,we specify that favipiravir treatment,among all other anti-viral drugs,accompanied by oxygen inhalation therapy,maintaining fluid and electrolyte balance,and nutritional support may be helpful in fighting *** were done on already approved existing anti-viral drugs for treating ebola virus,influenza virus infection and many such anti-viral agents like favipiravir,ritonavir,remdesivir,ribavirin,oseltamivir shows promising results in preventing COVID-19 infection and their clinical trials are currently undergoing in order to discover proper treatment of *** the aforementioned drug candidates,a broad-spectrum RNA polymerase inhibitor favipiravir,which demonstrated a promising tolerance profile and anti-viral efficacy in patients having COVID-19 manifestations.

HIOC:a hybrid imputation method to predict missing values in medical datasets

Purpose-Decision support systems developed using machine learning classifiers have become a valuable tool in predicting various ***,the performance of these systems is adversely affected by the missing values in medical *** methods are used to predict these missing *** this paper,a new imputation method called hybrid imputation optimized by the classifier(HIOC)is proposed to predict missing values ***/methodology/approach-The proposed HIOC is developed by using a classifier to combine multivariate imputation by chained equations(MICE),K nearest neighbor(KNN),mean and mode imputation methods in an optimum *** of HIOC has been compared to MICE,KNN,and mean and mode *** classifiers support vector machine(SVM),naive Bayes(NB),random forest(RF)and decision tree(DT)have been used to evaluate the performance of imputation ***-The results show that HIOC performed efficiently even with a high rate of missing *** had reduced root mean square error(RMSE)up to 17.32%in the heart disease dataset and 34.73%in the breast cancer *** prediction of missing values improved the accuracy of the classifiers in predicting *** increased classification accuracy up to 18.61%in the heart disease dataset and 6.20%in the breast cancer ***/value-The proposed HIOC is a new hybrid imputation method that can efficiently predict missing values in any medical dataset.

Phytoremediation is a promising approach for reclamation of salt-affected *** is the most commonly used process,which exploits plants to absorb,immobilize,and accumulate salt in their *** this study,halotolerant plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria(PGPR)were isolated from the rhizosphere of wild grasses growing naturally in salt-affected areas of Lucknow,Uttar Pradesh(India)and were tested for their efficacies of salt-tolerance and plant growth-promoting(PGP)*** on 16S rRNA sequences,the most efficient halotolerant isolates possessing PGP traits were identified as Pseudomonas plecoglossicida(KM 233646),Acinetobacter calcoaceticus(KM 233647),Bacillus flexus(KM 233648),and Bacillus safensis(KM 233652).Application of these isolates as bio-inoculants significantly(P<0.05)increased the growth and bacoside A yield of a medicinal plant,Bacopa monnieri(L.)Nash,grown on natural salt-affected *** phytoremediation of salt-affected soil was evident by the substantial increase in shoot Na^+:K^+ratio of bio-inoculant-treated *** compared to un-inoculated control plants,the soil physico-chemical properties of bio-inoculant-treated plants were *** shoot and root biomass(fresh and dry weights),soil enzymes,and soil nutrient parameters showed significant positive correlations with the shoot Na+:K+***,the halotolerant PGPR screened in this study could be useful for the reclamation of saline soils concomitant with improved plant growth and bacoside A yield.
