An increasing proportion of decisions,design choices,and predictions are being made by hybrid groups consisting of humans and artificial intelligence(AI).In this paper,we provide analytic foundations that explain the potential benefits of hybrid groups on predictive tasks,the primary use of *** analysis relies on interpretive and generative signal frameworks as well as a distinction between the big data used by AI and the thick,often narrative data used by *** derive several conditions on accuracy and correlation necessary for humans to remain in the *** conclude that human adaptability along with the potential for atypical cases that mislead AI will likely mean that humans always add value on predictive tasks.

ISOLATED olistoliths refer to massive blocks of rock occurring out of place, but with sedimentary contact relationship, within unrelated sediments. They were transported as single masses into the basins in which they occurred. In this note we will first report examples found from the Lower Triassic Xikou Formation in southwestern Fujian and discuss its geological significance.

Liposarcomas are rare soft tissue tumors, commonly affecting the lower limbs and less commonly the retroperitoneum. Although other organs can be affected,the pancreas is one of the rarest, and metastasis at presentation has never been reported. We describe the case of a 76-year-old gentleman presenting with abdominal pain and an abdominal mass. Imaging confirmed a primary tumor in the body and tail of the pancreas, with a metastatic deposit in the mesentery adjacent to the second part of the duodenum. Biopsy confirmed a liposarcoma, and subsequently a complete surgical excision was achieved. He then received adjuvant radiotherapy and has remained disease free for the next 26 mo.

AIM： To analyze the time interval （‘delay＇） between the first occurrence of clinical parameters associated with anastomotic leakage alter colorectal resection and subsequent relaparotomy. METHODS： In 36 out of 289 consecutive patients with colorectal anastomosis, leakage was confirmed at relaparotomy. The medical records of these patients were retrospectively analysed and type and time of appearance of clinical parameters suggestive of anastomotic leakage were recorded. These parameters included heart rate, body temperature, local or generalized peritoneal reaction, leucocytosis, ileus and delayed gastric emptying. Factors influencing delay of relaparotomy and consequences of delayed recognition and treatment were determined. RESULTS： First documentation of at least one of the predefined parameters for anastomotic leakage was alter a median interval of 4 ± 1.7 d alter the operation. The median number of days between first parameter（s） associated with leakage and relaparotomy was 3.5 ± 5.7 d. The time interval between the first signs of leakage and relaparotomy was significantly longer when a weekend was included （4.2 d vs 2.4 d, P = 0.021） or radiological evaluation proved to be false-negative （8.1 d vs 3.5 d, P = 0.007）. No significant association between delay and number of additional relaparotomies, hospital stay or mortality could be demonstrated.CONCLUSION： An intervening weekend and negative diagnostic imaging reports may contribute to a delay in diagnosis and relaparotomy for anastomotic leakage. That delay was more than two days in two-thirds of the patients.
