Assessment of piloting behavior impact on landing risk of transport aircraft

The human factors and their interaction with other factors play an important role in the flight safety of transport *** this paper,a paradigm of risk assessment for transport aircraft interacting with piloting behaviors is proposed,with focus on landing which is the most accident-prone flight stage in aviation safety ***-based flight simulation serves as our data source for landing risk analysis under uncertainties.A digital pilot in the loop that reflects the human piloting behaviors is employed to facilitate simulation *** types of unsafe events in landing are identified from *** this basis,the landing safety boundary is extracted via stochastic simulation to divide safety and hazardous flight status domains,which con-tributes to flight status management and risk *** simulation results indicate that appro-priate piloting behavior,which is active response and fast target acquisition with minimum overshoot and fluctuation,shows benefit to landing *** subset simulation technique is employed to further refine the boundary with less computational ***,the effect of airspeed,windspeed,and other factors on landing risk is also *** proposed risk assess-ment method would help optimize operation procedure and develop targeted pilot training program.

High-resolution video transmission requires a substantial amount of *** this paper,we present a novel video processing methodology that innovatively integrates region of interest(ROI)identification and super-resolution *** method commences with the accurate detection of ROIs within video sequences,followed by the application of advanced super-resolution techniques to these areas,thereby preserving visual quality while economizing on data *** validate and benchmark our approach,we have curated a new gaming dataset tailored to evaluate the effectiveness of ROI-based super-resolution in practical *** proposed model architecture leverages the transformer network framework,guided by a carefully designed multi-task loss function,which facilitates concurrent learning and execution of both ROI identification and resolution enhancement *** unified deep learning model exhibits remarkable performance in achieving super-resolution on our custom *** implications of this research extend to optimizing low-bitrate video streaming *** selectively enhancing the resolution of critical regions in videos,our solution enables high-quality video delivery under constrained bandwidth *** results demonstrate a 15%reduction in transmission bandwidth compared to traditional super-resolution based compression methods,without any perceivable decline in visual *** work thus contributes to the advancement of video compression and enhancement technologies,offering an effective strategy for improving digital media delivery efficiency and user experience,especially in bandwidth-limited *** innovative integration of ROI identification and super-resolution presents promising avenues for future research and development in adaptive and intelligent video communication systems.

A new muon beam facility,called the Experimental Muon Source(EMuS),was proposed for construction at the china Spallation Neutron Source(CSNS).The design of the complex muon beamlines for the EMuS baseline scheme,which is based on superconducting solenoids,superferric dipoles and room-temperature magnets,is presented *** muon beams,including surface muons,decay muons and low energy muons,have been developed for multipurpose *** optics design and simulation results of the trunk beamline and branch beamlines are *** a proton beam power of 2. kW at a standalone target station that consists of a conical graphite target and high-field superconducting solenoids,the muon beam intensity in the trunk beamline varies from 10^(7)/s for surface muons to 10^(10)/s for high-momentum decay *** at the endstations,these values vary from 10^(5)/s for surface muons to 10^(8)/s for decay muons.

Twin curved tunnels are often encountered in shield tunnelling,where significant complexities in densely exploited underground space are *** this study,the ground settlement and tunnel deformation due to twin-curved shield tunnelling in soft ground were investigated using numerical simulation and field *** curvature radii of twin curved tunnels and subsequent effects of tunnel construction were considered to reveal the tunnelling effect on ground surface settlement and tunnel *** results show that the settlement trough yields one offset towards inside of curved shield *** location of settlement trough and maximum settlement were affected by curvature radius but except for the shape and width of settlement *** parallel twin-curved shield tunnelling could increase the offset of existing settlement trough and maximum ***,an empirical prediction of surface settlement trough due to twin-curved shield tunnelling with same tunnel diameters in soft clay was proposed,which was applicable to curvature radius less than 800 ***,a minimum radius of 600 m of curvature tunnel was proposed in terms of allowable convergence deformation of *** result could provide guidance on safety evaluation for twin curved shield tunnelling construction.

A room-temperature electrodeposition method with an organic electrolyte was developed to fabricate a HNO3.pretreated graphene paper Cu(GP'-Cu)*** improve the interfacial bonding of GP'-Cu composite,magnetron sputtering technology was used to create a"sandwich"structural gradient GP'-Cu *** selection of the intermediate transition layer metal was based on two-dimensional *** electron microscopy,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,and other analytical methods confirmed that the addition of an intermediate transition metal(Cr,Ni)layer reduced the gap distance and enhanced the interfacial bonding of the GP'and Cu deposited *** GP'-Ni-Cu composite exhibited the largest increase in tensile strength and *** addition,it had the highest thermal diffusivity and elongation at break among the GP'-Cu,GP'-Cr-Cu and GP'-Ni-Cu composites.

Effect of Al content on modification behavior of non-metallic inclusions in high-strength steel treated with rare earth

The influence of Al content(0.0053.0.0171,and 0.0578 wt.%)on the modification behavior of non-metallic inclusions in 2.CrMoVTiB steel treated with rare earth elements was studied through high-temperature experiments and thermodynamic *** results showed that the modification products varied with the Al content in steel under 0.01 wt.%of Ce *** formation sequence of typical rare earth inclusions in steel with the increase in Al content was Ce_(2.O_(3.→CeAlO_(3.→CeAl_(11)O_(18),and the final stable products were highly Al content *** the Al content was 0.0053.wt.%,the stable phase in steel was Ce2.3.while the[Al]reached 0.0171 wt.%,the stable phase became CeA1O_(3..As the A1 content reached 0.0578 wt.%,CeAl_(11)O_(18) became the stable *** a result,increasing the Al content could inhibit the precipitation of Ce_(2.O_(3. inclusions in steel while promote the formation of CeAIO3.and CeAl_(11)O_(18) *** addition,both Ca treatment and Ce treatment could effectively refine the size of inclusions in steel by changing their ***,the feeding amount of Ca wire into molten steel should be appropriately reduced under the condition of adding Ce simultaneously,which is expected to be beneficial for an improved Ce treatment effect.

The low signal to noise ratio (SNR) of functional MRI (fMRI) prefers more sensitive data analysis methods. Based on stationary wavelet transform and spectrum analysis, a new method with high detective sensitivity was developed for analyzing fMRI time series, which does not require any prior assumption of the characteristics of noises. In the proposed method, every component of fMRI time series in the different time-frequency scales of stationary wavelet transform was discerned by the spectrum analysis, then the components from noises were removed using the stationary wavelet transform, finally the components of real brain activation were detected by cross-correlation analysis. The results obtained from both simulated and in vivo visual experiments illustrated that the proposed method has much higher sensitivity than the traditional cross-correlation method.
