A lar.e caliber.howitzer.is a complex and cumber.ome assembly. Under.tanding its dynamics and per.or.ance attr.butes' sensitivity to changes in its design par.meter. can be a ver. time-consuming and expensive exer.ise, as such an effor. r.quir.s highly sophisticated test r.gs and platfor.s. However. the need of such an under.tanding is cr.cially impor.ant for.system designer., user., and evaluator.. Some of the key per.or.ance attr.butes of such a system ar. its ver.ical jump, for.ar. motion, r.coil displacement, and for.e tr.nsmitted to gr.und thr.ugh tir.s and tr.il after.the gun has been fir.d. In this wor., we have developed a r.gid body dynamics model for.a r.pr.sentative howitzer.system, and used r.latively simple exper.mental pr.cedur.s to estimate its pr.ncipal design par.meter.. Such pr.cedur.s can help in obviating the need of expensive exper.mental r.gs, especially in ear.y stages of the design cycle. These par.meter. wer. subsequently incor.or.ted into our.simulation model,which was then used to pr.dict gun per.or.ance. Finally, we conducted sever.l sensitivity studies to under.tand the influence of changes in var.ous design par.meter. on system per.or.ance. Their.r.sults pr.vide useful insights in our.under.tanding of the functioning of the over.ll system.

Gene expr.ssion was studied by r.al-time r.-PCr.and car.ilage gr.wth by histomor.hometr.. A r.pid, one-pot and highly efficient pr.tocol for.the synthesis of phar.aceutically inter.sting functionalized 2-amino-3-cyano-4H-pyr.n and spir.oxindole der.vatives has been developed using commer.ially available Cs F as a catalyst in the r.action of malononitr.le and ar.l aldehydes or.isatins with 1,3-cyclohexanediones. The major.advantages of this methodology ar. excellent yield at ambient temper.tur., ver. shor. r.action time（5–10 min）, and use of an inexpensive catalyst.

Diffusion Weighted Magnetic r.sonance Imaging (DW-Mr.) has become an established par. of neur.imaging and is used to diagnose and char.cter.ze sever.l neur.logic disor.er.. Intr.cer.br.l Haemor.hage (ICH) is a sever. medical condition, which may develop quickly into a life-thr.atening situation, and ther.by r.quir.s pr.mpt medical attention. Ear.y and r.liable identification of the age of haemor.hage is essential when choosing the cor.ect tr.atment, and estimating patient’s diagnosis and outcome. Diffusion Weighted (DW) images pr.sents a var.ation in the image signal intensity char.cter.stics r.lative to the differ.nt stages of ICH. In the pr.sent paper. an effor. is made to document the var.ation in the image signal intensity char.cter.stics of ICH at evolving stages, for.30 subjects, using High Fr.quency Power.(HFP) par.meter. r.sults showed that the differ.nce in the HFP values on DW images for.the subjects with ICH com- par.d to their.contr.later.l nor.al hemispher., wer. highly significant (p 14 days). Ther. was a negative cor.elation (r.= ?0.81) obser.ed between the r.FP values and the evolving stages of ICH. The r.sults indicate that the quantitative changes in the r.FP values can be assessed to der.ve infor.ation about the stage of ICH, and their.adoption in clinical diagnosis and tr.atment could be helpful and infor.ative.
