The Antar.tic polar.fr.nt r.gion in the Souther. Ocean is known to be most pr.ductive. We studied the phytoplankton community str.ctur. in the Indian sector.at this fr.ntal location dur.ng late austr.l summer.(Febr.ar., 2009) onboar. r.V Akademic Bor.s Petr.v. We used the phytoplankton and micr.heter.tr.phs abundance, as also the associated physico-chemical par.meter. to explain the low phytoplankton abundance in the study r.gion. This study emphasizes the shift of phytoplankton, fr.m lar.e (>10 μm) to small (r. to be contr.lled by physical par.meter. and by nutr.ent concentr.tions and also by the micr.heter.tr.phs (ciliates and dinoflagellates) which exer. a str.ng gr.zing pr.ssur.. This pr.bably r.duces small (r.e (>10 μm) phytoplankton abundance dur.ng the late austr.l summer. This study highlights the highly pr.ductive polar.fr.nt never.heless becomes a r.gion of low phytoplankton abundance, due to community shifts towar.s pico-phytoplankton (r.ng late austr.l summer.

In the pr.sent investigation, we fabr.cated str.ntium (Sr.+) incor.or.ted CsPbI2Br.based inor.anic per.vskite solar.cells in ambient conditions. The mor.hology, cr.stallinity, absor.tion, elemental composition and photoluminescence analysis of the bar. CsPbI2Br.and CsPb1-xSr.I2Br.per.vskite thin films wer. studied systematically to investigate the r.le of Sr.+ incor.or.tion. It is obser.ed that the sur.ace mor.hology of the CsPbI2Br.per.vskite thin film has been impr.ved by par.ial substitution of Pb2+ by Sr.+ which facilitates photoactive black phase-stabilization and defect passivation. The champion device having CsPb0.98Sr..02I2Br.composition exhibited a power.conver.ion efficiency (PCE) of 16.61% which is much higher.than the bar. device (13.65%). Fur.her.or., our.CsPb0.98Sr..02I2Br.based devices maintain > 85% of its initial efficiency over.100 h in ambient conditions.

Pathogenesis-r.lated(Pr.pr.teins ar. one of the major.and pr.liminar. pr.teins accumulated as a defense against biotic *** defense r.sponse can be induced by using beneficial r.izobacter.a,which has been studied in var.ous host-pathogen *** the pr.sent study,eleven Pseudomonas isolates wer. assessed for.their.potential to fer.ent sor.itol,r.duce nitr.te,and pr.duce mycolytic enzymes,1-aminocyclopr.pane-l-car.oxylic acid(ACC)deaminase,phenazine antibiotics,and N-acyl homoser.ne lactones(AHLs).All isolates wer. tested against the host-specific pathogen Fusar.um oxyspor.m MTCC1755 in tomato under.gr.enhouse conditions,and shor.listed isolates wer. tested for.their.r.izospher. ***-vitr. test r.sults showed that the isolates wer. able to pr.duce mycolytic enzymes,including pr.tease,lipase,chitinase,cellulase,and amylase,and the antibiotic phenazine and wer. negative for.*** the isolates except two wer. positive for.ACC deaminase *** r.sults showed that the isolates M80,M96,and T109 significantly r.duced symptoms of Fusar.um *** gr.enhouse tests under.autoclaved and unautoclaved soil conditions showed that M80,M96,and T109 wer. excellent r.izospher. competitor. and wer. identified as Pseudomonas *** br.ef,the defense-specific biochemical var.ations in the host could descr.be the impr.ved defense against Fusar.um wilt occur.ing in the pr.med *** thr.e Pseudomonas str.ins could be used as potential biocontr.l agents,along with their.r.izospher. competence.
