Influence of Boundary Layer Mixing Mechanisms on the simulation of Typhoon Wutip:A Direct Hit on the Xisha Islands in 2013

In this study,we simulated the tropical cyclone(TC)Wutip,which originated in the South China Sea in 2013,using three planetary boundary layer(PBL)parameterized schemes within the Weather Research and Forecasting model,i.e.,Medium-Range Forecast(MRF),Yonsei University scheme(YSU),and Asymmetric Convective Model Version 2(ACM2),with different vertical mixing *** investigated the effects of different PBL mixing mechanisms on the simulation of TC track,intensity,structure,and *** results reveal that the surface flux and vertical mixing of PBL jointly influenced the TC throughout its lifecycle,and the simulated TC intensity was closely correlated with the eyewall *** three schemes were all first-order and nonlocal closure ***,the MRF scheme was over-mixed,which led to a relatively dryer and warmer near-surface layer,a wetter and colder upper PBL,and thus a simulated eyewall with the smallest wet static energy and weaker ***,the MRF scheme produced the smallest 10-m wind speed,which was closest to the observation,and the weakest TC warm-core structure and *** YSU scheme was similar to the MRF scheme,yet it distinguished itself by incorporating an explicit treatment of the entrainment process at the top of the PBL and developing thermal-free convection above the PBL of the eyewall,which significantly increased the wet static energy over the TC ***,the simulated eyewall was more contracted and steeper with stronger upward motion while the eye area became even warmer,finally leading to the strongest *** precipitation distribution simulated by the YSU scheme was the most consistent with the *** ACM2 scheme used the nonlocal upward and local downward mixed asymmetric convection modes,which reduced the excessive de-velopment of thermal-free convection at the eyewall,and avoided restricting the dynamically forced turbulent motion outside the eyewall,leading to a larger radius of the

Physarum polycephalum-inspired adaptive optimization design of artificial microtubular networks

Natural biological microtubular networks have undergone adaptive evolutionary selection and may offer viable solutions to design challenges in artificial microtubular networks. The plasmodium of the slime mold Physarum polycephalum(P. polycephalum) extends continuously to form a protoplasmic microtubular network structure, directly connecting food *** simulations revealed that the formation of this adaptive P. polycephalum microtubular network could be captured by a mathematical algorithm. Inspired by the P. polycephalum microtubular networks, we propose an adaptive optimization design method for artificial microtubular networks. Specifically, we utilized hydrogels with biodegradable and tissue-adhesive properties to replicate the P. polycephalum microtubular networks via photomask. In Rhodamine B diffusion and glucosecatalyzed reaction experiments, we found that the P. polycephalum microtubular networks exhibited significantly enhanced efficiency compared to vascular and artificial networks. Furthermore, we demonstrated the potential for uric acid(UA) degradation of the hydrogels with a real P. polycephalum microtubular network loaded with urate oxidase(UOx) in a rodent model of hyperuricemia. And this network achieved more than double the effect of the artificial network. This underscores the potential of natural microtubular networks to replace artificial microtubular networks.

急性冠脉综合征患者血清血小板衍生生长因子表达的临床研究

目的探讨急性冠脉综合征患者外周血及冠状动脉局部血清血小板衍生生长因子（PDGF）浓度与冠状动脉疾病严重程度的关系.方法纳入2012年9月至2013年12月在南京医科大学第一附属医院心血管科行冠状动脉造影的急性冠脉综合征患者,并纳入同期因胸痛住院行冠状动脉造影且冠脉未见狭窄者为对照组.收集各组患者临床资料,计算SYNTAX积分,通过ELsiA方法测定患者外周血及冠状动脉局部血清PDGF浓度;分析非冠心病组与冠心病ACS组、ACS患者不同亚组间血清PDGF浓度的差异,利用Pear-son相关性分析血清PDGF浓度与SYNTAX积分的相关性.结果与对照组比较,冠心病ACS组外周血PDGF浓度显著升高[（723.29±679.53）pg/ml比（369.12.0±292.39）pg/ml,P〈0.05];冠心病ACS组中AMI组外周血PDGF浓度较UAP组显著升高[（758.36±714.56）pg/ml比（614.11 ±600.39）pg/ml,P〈0.05].ACS患者冠状动脉局部PDGF浓度较外周血PDGF浓度显著升高[（911.89±735.41）pg/ml比（723.29±679.53）pg/ml,P〈0.01].Pearson相关分析显示,外周血PDGF浓度与冠脉狭窄程度（SYNTAX评分）呈正相关关系（r=0.233,P〈0.05）.随着血清PDGF浓度的升高,平均SYNTAX积分逐步升高,高浓度组SYNTAX积分高于低PDGF浓度组.结论急性冠脉综合征患者血清PDGF浓度显著升高,尤其在冠状动脉局部PDGF呈现浓聚.血清PDGF浓度可反映冠状动脉病变的严重程度.

AP1000核电厂第一跨空间内布置了设备冷却水系统(component cooling water system,CCS)驱动泵,能够保证核电厂事故工况下设备冷却水系统、余热排出系统等关键安全系统的正常运行,从而保证核电厂安全。然而在蒸汽发生器主给水管道双端断裂事故下,大量的水会泄放到第一跨空间内,对第一跨空间内的关键设备造成严重威胁。因此,对AP1000核电站蒸汽发生器主给水管道双端断裂事故下第一跨空间内泄放流体三维流动特性进行数值模拟。采用ANSYS系列软件,建立第一跨空间三维模型,基于流体体积模型(volume of fluid model,VOF)计算冷却剂喷放事故下,第一跨空间内流动特性及水位变化规律。计算结果表明,破口水从入口进入第一跨空间后在5.334 m层漫流,绝大部分泄放水通过该层设置的预留开孔流出,部分水在该层堆积。但是,由于设置挡水沿,泄洪水并未漫流到0 m层与-3.8 m层,随着冷却剂喷放引发给水泵跳泵,第一跨空间内水位将逐渐下降,不会造成重要设备防水台的漫流淹没。计算结果对核电厂主要泄洪途径、关键设备布置设计与优化提供了数值参考。

常规岛热力系统全范围快速建模对于常规岛的安全设计有重要意义。以主给水管道破裂事故为例,按照纵深防御的要求,第一跨防水淹设计基准是保证布置在第一跨的设备冷却水系统(component cooling water system,CCS)CCS泵组功能不会因为水淹工况而丧失。因此,建立完整的常规岛二回路汽水系统工质流动模型,并进一步确定泄漏量最大的主给水管道破裂工况,能为AP1000及后续电厂的常规岛主厂房第一跨防水淹设计提供数据支撑和指导策略。基于FLOWNEX计算软件,通过建立汽轮机、汽水分离再热器、凝汽器、除氧器、高低压加热器、主泵、凝结水泵等部件的关键模型,完成AP1000二回路汽水系统建模,实现了对凝汽器水位、除氧器水位、抽汽量等关键参数的模拟,并实现了对泵跳闸等关键控制逻辑的建模,通过简单修改边界条件即可实现不同功率台阶的切换以及功率的瞬态变化。模型稳态计算工况与热力系统平衡图符合较好,降功率瞬态计算快速准确,为下一步事故工况的建模计算提供了模型基础。

Migration regularities of impurities C,O,Fe,Co and Ni and effect of crystal transition on C,O and Fe in purification of metal La by solid-state electrotransport

Migration regularities of impurities C,O,Fe,Co and Ni and the effect of crystal transition on C,O and Fe in purification of metal La by solid-state electrotransport(SSE)were *** impurity migration direction,removal extent and difficulty were intuitively judged by impurity residual rate distribution *** is indicated that major impurities Fe,Co,Ni,C and O in metal La are found to significantly migrate to anode and migration effects are much better with the increase in temperature and prolongation of time in purification of La by *** Fe,Co and Ni in La may be fast diffusion elements,which are very extreme to be removed,and removal difficulty is in the order of Fesidual rates of impurity Fe,Co,Ni,O and C are 0.25%,10.10%,40.04%,64.00%and 70.04%,*** crystal transition of La,transformed from fcc crystal to bcc crystal,has significant effect on migration of interstitial impurities,and removal effect of interstitial impurities C and O can be significantly improved when purification was performed above crystal transition temperature of 865℃of ***,there is little effect on *** La was migrated at 880℃for 100 h,residual rates of impurities C and O are,respectively,19.90%and 32.67%lower than those at 820℃for 100 h,while that of Fe is lower than0.25%in both ***,more pure metal La can be obtained through further increasing temperature,especially above crystal transition temperature of 865℃of La.

An Age-Dependent and State-Dependent Adaptive Prognostic Approach for Hidden Nonlinear Degrading System

Remaining useful life(RUL)estimation approaches on the basis of the degradation data have been greatly developed,and significant advances have been *** an applicable degradation model of the system is the foundation and key to accurately estimating its *** current researches focus on age-dependent degradation models,but it has been found that some degradation processes in engineering are also related to the degradation states *** addition,due to different working conditions and complex environments in engineering,the problems of the unit-to-unit variability in the degradation process of the same batch of systems and actual degradation states cannot be directly observed will affect the estimation accuracy of the *** order to solve the above issues jointly,we develop an age-dependent and state-dependent nonlinear degradation model taking into consideration the unit-to-unit variability and hidden degradation ***,the Kalman filter(KF)is utilized to update the hidden degradation states in real time,and the expectation-maximization(EM)algorithm is applied to adaptively estimate the unknown model ***,the approximate analytical RUL distribution can be obtained from the concept of the first hitting *** the new observation is available,the RUL distribution can be updated adaptively on the basis of the updated degradation states and model *** effectiveness and accuracy of the proposed approach are shown by a numerical simulation and case studies for Li-ion batteries and rolling element bearings.

Human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells(hUC-MSCs)are a promising candidate for spinal cord injury(SCI)repair owing to their advantages of low immunogenicity and easy accessibility over other MSC ***,modest clinical efficacy hampered the progression of these cells to clinical *** discrepancy may be due to many variables,such as cell source,timing of implantation,route of administration,and relevant efficacious cell dose,which are critical factors that affect the efficacy of treatment of patients with ***,we have evaluated the safety and efficacy of 4×10^(6) hUC-MSCs/kg in the treatment of subacute SCI by intrathecal implantation in rat *** search for a more accurate dose range for clinical translation,we compared the effects of three different doses of hUC-MSCs-low(0.25×10^(6) cells/kg),medium(1×10^(6) cells/kg)and high(4×10^(6) cells/kg)-on subacute SCI repair through an elaborate combination of behavioral analyses,anatomical analyses,magnetic resonance imaging-diffusion tensor imaging(MRI-DTI),biotinylated dextran amine(BDA)tracing,electrophysiology,and quantification of mRNA levels of ion channels and neurotransmitter *** study demonstrated that the medium dose,but not the low dose,is as efficient as the high dose in producing the desired therapeutic ***,partial restoration of theγ-aminobutyric acid type A(GABAA)receptor expression by the effective doses indicates that GABAA receptors are possible candidates for therapeutic targeting of dormant relay pathways in injured spinal ***,this study revealed that intrathecal implantation of 1×10^(6) hUC-MSCs/kg is an alternative approach for treating subacute SCI.

Application of a microscopic optical potential of chiral effective field theory in (p, d) transfer reactions

The microscopic global nucleon–nucleus optical model potential(OMP)proposed by Whitehead,Lim,and Holt,the WLH potential(Whitehead et al.,Phys Rev Lett 127:182502,2021),which was constructed in the framework of many-body per-turbation theory with state-of-the-art nuclear interactions from chiral effective field theory(EFT),was tested with(p,d)transfer reactions calculated using adiabatic wave *** target nuclei included both stable and unstable nuclei,and the incident energies reached 200 *** results were compared with experimental data and predictions using the phenomenological global optical potential of Koning and Delaroche,the KD02 ***,we found that the micro-scopic WLH potential described the(p,d)reaction angular distributions similarly to the phenomenological KD02 potential;however,the former was slightly better than the latter for radioactive *** average,the obtained spectroscopic factors(SFs)using both microscopic and phenomenological potentials were similar when the incident energies were below approxi-mately 120 ***,their difference tended to increase at higher incident energies,which was particularly apparent for the doubly magic target nucleus 40Ca.
