Dear Editor,Protein histidine methylation has been found to be a widespread post-translational modification(PTM)in mammalian cells and represents more than 13%of all protein methylation events in the human methylome(Ning et al.,2016;Kapell and Jakobsson,2021).Recently,we and other groups independently identified METTL9 as the first broad-specificity histidine N1 methyltransferase in mammals(Davydova et al.,2021;Lv et al.,2021).METTL9 methylates a variety of substrates with a common x-His-x-His motif(His is for histidine;the second x is preferably small amino acids:A/C/G/S)and catalyzes methyl transfer to the last histidine.

Accurately predicting stock returns is a conundrum in financial *** this conundrum can bring huge economic benefits for investors and also attract the attention of all circles of *** this paper the authors combine semi-varying coefficient model with technical analysis and statistical learning,and propose semi-varying coefficient panel data model with individual effects to explore the dynamic relations between the stock returns from five companies:CVX,DFS,EMN,LYB,and MET and five technical indicators:CCI,EMV,MOM,ln ATR,ln RSI as well as closing price(ln CP),combine semi-parametric fixed effects estimator,semi-parametric random effects estimator with the testing procedure to distinguish fixed effects(FE) from random effects(RE),and finally apply the estimated dynamic relations and the testing set to predict stock returns in December 2020 for the five *** proposed method can accommodate the varying relationship and the interactive relationship between the different technical indicators,and further enhance the prediction accuracy to stock returns.

Objective: To observe the clinical effectiveness and safety of fire-needle therapy,an external approach of Chinese medicine in treating plaque ***: This study was a two-parallel-arm randomized controlled trial.A total of 151 participants with plaque psoriasis were randomly assigned to the ?re-needle therapy group(treatment group,76 cases) or the control group(75 cases) at a 1:1 allocation ratio using SAS *** participants received Oral huoxue Jiedu Decoction(活血解毒汤,HXJDD) and applied externally vaseline cream twice a *** in the treatment group received ?re-needle therapy once weekly for 4 weeks plus HXJDD and vaseline cream applied the same as the control *** primary outcome measure was Psoriasis Area and Severity Index(PASI) score,and the secondary outcomes were Dermatology Life Quality Index(DLQL),and Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale(HAMA),as well as Chinese medicine(CM) syndrome score and photos of target *** indices were evaluated before and after ***: Sixty-eight patients in each group completed the *** treatment group has not yet achieved signi?cant improvement in PASI score(P>0.05)compared to the control ***,signi?cant differences were found between the two groups in relieving CM syndrome(P<0.05) and improving quality of life(P<0.05).Conclusions: Fire-needle appears to be safe and may have bene?t for psoriasis,the short-term treatment and small sample size limit the conclusions of this *** rigorous randomized controlled trials with longer treatment are recommended.

The aging problem of vegetable oil has severely restricted the popularization and application of vegetable oil *** antioxidants is the most recommended *** present,there is insufficient research on the micromechanism application of the protective effect of antioxidants on vegetable *** this paper,multiple vegetable oil models with different types and concentrations of antioxidants are *** the molecular dynamics simulation based on ReaxFF is carried out at different temperatures and oxygen *** show that the protective mechanism of antioxidants is to release H and combine this with free radicals generated by the decomposition of unsaturated fatty acids(UFA)in the *** addition,the protective effects of four antioxidants show different *** stronger ones are tert-butyl hydroquinone(TBHQ)and butylated hydroxytoluene(BHT),while the weaker ones are butylated hydroxyanisole(BHA)and propyl gallate(PG).TBHQ has a better protective effect at lower concentrations,but the decomposition of UFA is promoted at higher *** the temperature rises,the decomposition of UFA is *** the addition of oxygen,smaller molecular compounds are easily oxidized,and the decomposition of UFA is *** above research could reveal the microscopic mechanism of antioxidant protection on vegetable oil,providing theoretical references for further exploration of effective vegetable oil aging protection technology.

High-throughput computing(HTC) is a computing paradigm that aims to accomplish jobs by easily breaking them into smaller,independent ***,it requires a large amount of computing power for a long *** existing HTC frameworks are job-oriented without support for coscheduling with hardware architecture and task-level ***,most of the frameworks reach a limited scale,and their usability needs further ***,we present HTDcr,a job execution framework for the HTC on *** study aims to improve the throughput,task dispatching,and usability of the *** detail,the throughput optimizations include a sophisticated designed task management system,a hierarchical scheduler,and the co-optimization of the task-scheduling strategy with the application and hardware *** optimizations for usability include a programable execution workflow,mechanisms for more robust and reliable service qualities,and a fine-grained resource allocation system for the colocation of multiple *** to our evaluations,HTDcr can achieve outstanding scalability and high throughput on large-scale clusters for the HTC *** evaluate HTDcr with several microbenchmarks and real-world applications on Tianhe-2 and Sunway TaihuLight to demonstrate its effects on existing design *** instance,the task scheduling for two real-world applications integrated with the application and hardware characteristics achieves 1.7× and 1.9× speedups over the basic task-scheduling strategy.

This paper proposes a new global fixed-time sliding mode control strategy for the trajectory tracking control of uncertain robotic ***,a fixed-time disturbance observer(FTDO) is designed to deal with the adverse effects of model uncertainties and external disturbances in the manipulator *** an adaptive scheme is used and the adaptive FTDO(AFTDO) is developed,so that the priori knowledge of the lumped disturbance is not ***,a new non-singular fast terminal sliding mode(NFTSM) surface is designed by using an arctan function,which helps to overcome the singularity problem and enhance the robustness of the *** on the estimation of the lumped disturbance by the AFTDO,a fixed-time non-singular fast terminal sliding mode controller(FTNFTSMC)is developed to guarantee the trajectory tracking errors converge to zero within a fixed *** settling time is independent of the initial state of the *** addition,the stability of the AFTDO and FTNFTSMC is strictly proved by using Lyapunov ***,the fixed-time NFESM(FTNFTSM) algorithm is validated on a 2-link manipulator and comparisons with other existing sliding mode controllers(SMCs) are *** comparative results confirm that the FTNFTSMC has superior control performance.
