Circulating Exosomal Lnc RNAs as Novel Diagnostic Predictors of Severity and Sites of White Matter Hyperintensities

Objective Exosomal long noncoding RNAs(lnc RNAs) are the key to diagnosing and treating various diseases. This study aimed to investigate the diagnostic value of plasma exosomal lnc RNAs in white matter hyperintensities(WMH).Methods We used high-throughput sequencing to determine the differential expression(DE) profiles of lnc RNAs in plasma exosomes from WMH patients and controls. The sequencing results were verified in a validation cohort using q RT-PCR. The diagnostic potential of candidate exosomal lnc RNAs was proven by binary logistic analysis and receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curves. The diagnostic value of DE exo-lnc RNAs was determined by the area under the curve(AUC). The WMH group was then divided into subgroups according to the Fazekas scale and white matter lesion site, and the correlation of DE exo-lnc RNAs in the subgroup was *** In our results, four DE exo-lnc RNAs were identified, and ROC curve analysis revealed that exolnc_011797 and exo-lnc_004326 exhibited diagnostic efficacy for WMH. Furthermore, WMH subgroup analysis showed exo-lnc_011797 expression was significantly increased in Fazekas 3 patients and was significantly elevated in patients with paraventricular matter *** Plasma exosomal lnc RNAs have potential diagnostic value in WMH. Moreover, exolnc_011797 is considered to be a predictor of the severity and location of WMH.

Extensive use of avermectin(AVM)in agriculture can seriously contaminate fish in *** acid(FA)is a strong antioxidant sourced from plants and is widely applied in food and medicine,but its protective function on the immunological damage caused by AVM is still *** this study,carp were chronically exposed to(1/1096 hr LC_(50))AVM for 30 day(s),with a dietary supplement of FA(400 mg/kg)to assess its effects on carp *** experimental groups(n=10)included:control,AVM-exposed(2.404μg/L),FA+AVM co-treated,and FA ***-term AVM exposure altered spleen tissue,reducing serum complement C3(p<0.01)and immunoglobulin M levels(p<0.001),and increasing proinflammatory tnf-α(p<0.001),il-6(p<0.001),il-1β(p<0.001),and inos mRNA levels,whilst down-regulating the anti-inflammatory tgf-β(p<0.05).Additionally,it disrupted the balance of oxidative stress indicators such asMDA(p<0.001),T-AOC,GSH,and CAT,leading to spleen tissue apoptosis(42.4%).However,the addition of FA reversed these conditions,elevated the anti-inflammatory factor,and improved spleen immune function following chronic exposure to AVMin ***,the ability to restore oxidative homeostasis in carp by adjusting the Nrf2/NQO-1 axis protected the health of spleen *** discovery also supports the development of fish feed for aquaculture.

Let V be a vertex operator superalgebra and g=(12···k)be a k-cycle which is viewed as an automorphism of the tensor product vertex operator superalgebra V^(■k).In this paper,we construct an explicit isomorphism from A_(g)(V^(■k))to A(V)if k is odd and to Aσ(V)if k is even whereσis the canonical automorphism of V of order 2 determined by the superspace structure of *** recover previous results by Barron(2016)and Barron and Vander Werf(2014)that there is a one-to-one correspondence between irreducible g-twisted V^(■k)-modules and irreducible V-modules(***σ-twisted V-modules)when k is odd(***).This explicit isomorphism is expected to be useful in our further study on the Zhu algebra of the fixed point subalgebra.

Numerical simulation of microstructure and microporosity morphology in directional solidification of aluminum-copper alloys:Effect of copper content and withdrawal rate

Changes of regulatory T cells and FoxP3 gene expression in the aging process and its relationship with lung tumors in humans and mice

Background Immunosuppressive regulatory T cells （Tregs） participate in tumor immune evasion and the number and suppressive function of Tregs change with the aging process, but it is not clear whether such change leads to a higher incidence of tumors in the elderly. To this end, we designed experiments to explore the changes of Tregs and the functional gene Forkhead box P3 （FoxP3） in the aging process and its relationship with lung tumors in humans and mice. Methods The percentage of CD4＋CD25＋CD127lowTregs and expression of FoxP3 mRNA were analyzed using flow cytometry （FCM） and real-time fluorescence-based quantitative polymerase chain reaction （FQ-PCR）. Markers were analyzed in the peripheral blood （PB） of 65 elderly patients （age 〉-65 years） with primary non-small cell lung cancer （NSCLC）, 20 younger patients （aged 〈55 years） with NSCLC, 30 elderly healthy individuals and 30 young healthy individuals. Furthermore, we set up the Lewis lung cancer model with C57BL/6 female mice. Thirty-six mice were divided into a young healthy group, a middle-aged healthy group, tumor group, and an elderly tumor group. The percentage an elderly healthy group, a young tumor group, a middle-aged of CD4＋CD25＋FoxP3＋ Tregs and the expression level of FoxP3 mRNA in splenocytes were determined in the six groups. Results The percentage of peripheral CD4＋CD25＋CD127low Tregs and the expression of FoxP3 mRNA were significantly increased in elderly patients with NSCLC comparing with the other groups and in elderly healthy individuals compared with young healthy individuals. Further analysis showed that the percentage of CD4＋CD25＋CD127lowTregs and the expression of FoxP3 mRNA were closely associated with tumor node metastasis （TNM） staging in elderly patients with NSCLC. In the mouse model, the percentage of CD4＋CD25＋FoxP3＋ Tregs and the expression of FoxP3 mRNA in splenocytes of the tumor groups were significantly higher than in the healthy groups, with the highest expression in the elderly tu

Copper(Cu)is widely used in the electrochemical carbon dioxide reduction reaction(ECO_(2)RR)for efficient methane(CH_(4))***,the morphology and valence of Cu-based catalysts are usually unstable under reaction *** this work,we prepared Ce-doped MOF-199 precursor(Ce/HKUST-1)and further obtained nanoparticle electrocatalyst Ce/CuO_(x)-NPs by cyclic voltammetry(CV)*** Faradic efficiency of methane(FE_(CH_(4)))maintains above 62%within a broad potential window of 350 mV and the maximum FE_(CH_(4))reaches 67.4%with a partial current density of 293 mA/cm^(2)at-1.6 V vs.a reversible hydrogen *** characterization and theoretical calculations revealed that the unique electronic structure and large ionic radius of Cerium(Ce)not only promoted the generation of key intermediate*CO but also lowered energy barrier of the*CO to*CHO *** study provides a novel and efficient catalyst for methane production in ECO_(2)RR and offers profound insights into constructing high performance Cu-based catalysts.
