One-cycle-controlled(OCC)inverters are suitable for small single-phase photovoltaic distributed-generator systems because of their simplicity,phase-locked-loop free structure,grid voltage sensor-less operation,and *** voltage sensor-less control helps reduce cost and increases reliability in *** various sensors are used for implementation of a protection *** this paper,a grid voltage sensorless protection scheme for OCC based single-phase inverter systems is *** estimated value of voltage at point of common coupling(VpCC)is used for protecting the system during over/under voltage conditions of the grid,implementing of voltage ride through conditions,and for disconnecting the grid during islanded *** VpCC is estimated from the measured inverter current,switching pulses,and the measured dc-link voltage using a second-order *** and experimental studies are performed to verify the efficacy of the proposed voltage sensor-less protection mechanism triggered using estimated VpCC.

Background: Duodenoscope-related multidrug-resistant organism(MDrO) infections raise concerns. Disposable duodenoscopes have been recently introduced in the market and approved by regulatory agencies with the aim to reduce the risk of endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ErCp) associated infections. The aim of this study was to evaluate the outcome of procedures performed with single-use duodenoscopes in patients with clinical indications to single-operator cholangiopancreatoscopy. Methods: This is a multicenter international, retrospective study combining all patients who underwent complex biliopancreatic interventions using the combination of a single-use duodenoscope and a single-use cholangioscope. The primary outcome was technical success defined as ErCp completion for the intended clinical indication. Secondary outcomes were procedural duration, rate of cross-over to reusable duodenoscope, operator-reported satisfaction score(1 to 10) on performance rating of the single-use duodenoscope, and adverse event(AE) rate. results: A total of 66 patients(26, 39.4% female) were included in the study. ErCp was categorized according to ASGE ErCp grading system as 47(71.2%) grade 3 and 19(28.8%) grade 4. The technical success rate was 98.5%(65/66). procedural duration was 64(interquartile range 15-189) min, cross-over rate to reusable duodenoscope was 1/66(1.5%). The satisfaction score of the single-use duodenoscope classified by the operators was 8.6 ± 1.3 points. Four patients(6.1%) experienced AEs not directly related to the single-use duodenoscope, namely 2 post-ErCp pancreatitis(pEp), 1 cholangitis and 1 ***: Single-use duodenoscope is effective, reliable and safe even in technically challenging procedures with a non-inferiority to reusable duodenoscope, making these devices a viable alternative to standard reusable equipment.

recently,the application of Wireless Sensor Networks(WSNs)has been increasing *** requires privacy preserving data aggregation protocols to secure the data from *** privacy of the sensor data is a challenging *** paper presents a non-linear regression-based data aggregation protocol for preserving privacy of the sensor *** proposed protocol uses non-linear regression functions to represent the sensor data collected from the sensor *** of sending the complete data to the cluster head,the sensor nodes only send the coefficients of the non-linear *** will reduce the communication overhead of the *** data aggregation is performed on the masked coefficients and the sink node is able to retrieve the approximated results over the aggregated *** analysis of experiment results shows that the proposed protocol is able to minimize communication overhead,enhance data aggregation accuracy,and preserve data privacy.

The present review is aimed at correlating major geologic events of the Cauvery Basin with analogous global episodes. The Cauvery Basin came into existence due to Gondwana break up during Late Jurassic-Early Cretaceous by taphrogenic rift process. The first marine transgression close to Aptian/Albian boundary at the western margin of the basin terminates the syn-rift tectonic phase, which is also precise in adjoining Krishna-Godavari （KG） Basin. Two regional tectonic episodes are well documented in the basin which have global significance viz. （1） A major basinal uplift during late Turonian caused by Marion hot mantle plume resulted in widespread subaqueous volcanism in the southern part of the Cauvery Basin. This uplift also ted to relative sea level （rSL） fall of about 100 m in Cauvery and KG Basins and an unconformity of a magnitude of 2.3 Ma. The rSL fatt closely correlates with global sea level faU. This volcanic episode also resulted in Madagascar detachment from India. （2） The reunion hot mantle plume that ted to Deccan volcanism in central India resulted in E-SE tilt of the Cauvery Basin during upper Maastrichtian （CFI-CF3 zones）. This tilt caused a sea level fall of about 80 m and lateral withdrawal of sea by about 50 km developing a major erosional unconformity ranging in magnitude of -1.8-30 My. The magnitude of rSL correlates wetl with global sea level fall. This sea level fall caused widespread development of canyon features in the Cauvery Basin resulting in differential subaqueous erosion. The globally significant ocean anoxic events viz. OAE-Ib, OAE-1d, OAE-2 and OAE-3 are fairly discernible in the Cauvery Basin. The new isotopic palaeotemperature data suggests that southern India and Madagascar were located apparently in middle latitudes within the tropical-subtropical climatic zone during Atbian and early Maastrichtian. The performance of a well-designed layer of sand, and composites like layer of sand mixed with shredded rubber tire (rSM) as low cost base isolators, is studied in shake table tests in the laboratory. The building foundation is modeled by a 200 mm by 200 mm and 40 mm thick rigid plexi-glass block. The block is placed in the middle of a 1m by 1m tank filled with sand. The selected base isolator is placed between the block and the sand foundation. Accelerometers are placed on top of the footing and foundation sand layer. The displacement of the footing is also measured by LVDT. The whole setup is mounted on a shake table and subjected to sinusoidal motions with varying amplitude and frequency. Sand is found to be effective only at very high amplitude (> 0.65 g) of motions. The performance of a composite consisting of sand and 50% shredded rubber tire placed under the footing is found to be most promising as a low-cost effective base isolator.

The main focus of the present work is to investigate Critical Heat Flux (CHF) enhancement using CuO nanofluid relative to CHF of pure water. To estimate the effect of nanoparticles on the CHF, pool boiling CHF values were measured for various volume concentrations of CuO nanofluid and compared with pure water. CHF enhancement of 130% was recorded at 0.2 % by volume of CuO nano-fluids. Surface roughness of the heater surface exposed to three measured heating cycles indicated surface modifications at different volume concentrations of nanofluid. SEM image of the heater surface revealed porous layer build up, which is thought to be the reason for CHF enhancement.

prediction of weld bead geometry is always an interesting and challenging research topic as it involves understanding of complex multi input and multi output system. The weld bead geometry has a profound impact on the load bearing capability of a weld joint, which in-turn decides the performance in real time service conditions. The present study introduces a novel approach of detecting a relationship between weld bead geometry and mechanical properties(e.g. tensile load) for the purpose of catering the best the process could offer. The significance of the proposed approach is demonstrated by a case of dissimilar aluminium alloy(AA2219 and AA5083) electron beam welds. A mathematical model of tensile braking load as a function of geometrical attributes of weld bead geometry is presented. The results of investigation suggests the effective thickness of weld-a geometric parameter of weld bead has the most significant influence on tensile breaking load of dissimilar weld joint. The observations on bead geometry and the mechanical properties(microhardness, ultimate tensile load and face bend angle) are correlated with detailed metallurgical analysis. The fusion zone of dissimilar electron beam weld has finer grain size with a moderate evaporation and segregation of alloying elements magnesium and copper *** mechanical properties of weld joint are controlled by optimum bead geometry and HAZ softening in weaker AA5083 Al alloy.

The early Archean oceans were marked by significant redox changes which have subsequently shaped the Earth’s *** chemical sediments of banded Iron and Manganese formations provide important geochemical proxies for these historical shifts in the redox conditions and to trace the ancient sedimentation patterns and *** this study,we investigate the proto-ore of the Archean Mn-formations of the Sandur,Chitradurga and Shimoga greenstone belts of Dharwar Craton of southern peninsular India,which is geochemically characterised as quartz arenites,Mn-arenites,Fe-arenites,Mn-argillites and *** geochemical systematics suggest their deposition in shallow to deeper shelf in the Archean *** detrital zircon U-pb systematics of Mn arenites and argillites indicate their maximum depositional age of 3230±52 Ma representing the oldest onset of sedimentation during the paleo-Mesoarchean timeframe in the Chitradurga Group of Dharwar *** detrital influx proxies suggest variations in sedimentation rates associated with the Archean transgressive-regressive cycles and fluctuating hydrodynamic conditions,together reflecting an increasing trend in the contributions of recycled sediment from Sandur to Chitradurga and Shimoga greenstone *** available detrital zircon ages of the Mn arenites and argillites from these greenstone belts indicate a~600 Ma prolonged period of Mn deposition for which high-T hydrothermal fluids from Archean mid-oceanic ridges supplied the *** trace element compositions of the concordant detrital zircons suggest 3.3-3.1 Ga Dharwar basement TTG/granitoid source which is corroborated by the zircon crystallization temperatures of 690-820℃.The source-normalisedα-dose rates of the detrital zircons signify greater degrees of sediment transport and multi-cycle nature which correspond to the earliest episode of crustal growth in the Indian sub-continent associated with the Mesoarchean Ur supercontinent.T

The objective of the present study is to develop cost effective thermoplastic hybrid laminate using Dyneema®HB50 and Tensylon®HSBD 30A through structural hybridization *** having 20 mm thickness were fabricated and subjected to 7.6239 mm mild steel core projectile with an impact velocity of 730±10 ms*** such as energy absorption,back face deformation and rate of back face deformation were measured as a function of hybridization *** was observed that hybrid laminate with 50:50 ratio(w/w)of Tensylon®and Dyneema®with Tensylon®as front face showed 200%more energy absorption when compared to 100%Tensylon®laminate and showed equal energy absorption as that of expensive 100%Dyneema®***,hybrid laminate with TD50:50 ratio showed 40%lower in terms of final back face deformation than Dyneema®*** of back face deformation was also found to be slow for hybrid laminate as compared to Dyneema®*** mechanical analysis showed that,Tensylon®laminate has got higher stiffness and lower damping factor than Dyneema®and hybrid *** interface between Tensylon®and Dyneema®layers was found to be separating during the penetration process due to the poor interfacial *** behaviour of laminates for different hybridization ratios were studied by sectioning the impacted *** was observed that,the Tensylon®laminate has undergone shear cutting of fibers as major failure mode whereas the hybrid laminate showed shear cutting followed by tensile stretching,fiber pull out and *** inputs are highly useful for body armour applications to design cost effective armour with enhanced performance.
