Identifying rare patterns for medical diagnosis is a challenging task due to heterogeneity and the volume of *** summarization can create a concise version of the original data that can be used for effective *** this paper,we propose an ensemble summarization method that combines clustering and sampling to create a summary of the original data to ensure the inclusion of rare *** the best of our knowledge,there has been no such technique available to augment the performance of anomaly detection techniques and simultaneously increase the efficiency of medical *** performance of popular anomaly detection algorithms increases significantly in terms of accuracy and computational complexity when the summaries are ***,the medical diagnosis becomes more effective,and our experimental results reflect that the combination of the proposed summarization scheme and all underlying algorithms used in this paper outperforms the most popular anomaly detection techniques.

In this article, a novel scalarization technique, called the improved objective-constraint approach, is introduced to find efficient solutions of a given multiobjective programming problem. The presented scalarized problem extends the objective-constraint problem. It is demonstrated that how adding variables to the scalarized problem, can lead to find conditions for (weakly, properly) pareto optimal solutions. Applying the obtained necessary and sufficient conditions, two algorithms for generating the pareto front approximation of bi-objective and three-objective programming problems are designed. These algorithms are easy to implement and can achieve an even approximation of (weakly, properly) pareto optimal solutions. These algorithms can be generalized for optimization problems with more than three criterion functions, too. The effectiveness and capability of the algorithms are demonstrated in test problems.

mg-Y-Zn-Al alloys processed by rapidly solidified ribbon consolidation(RSRC)technique exhibit an exceptional mechanical performance indicating promising application *** material has a bimodal microstructure consisting of fine recrystallized and coarse non-recrystallized grains with solute-rich stacking faults forming cluster arranged layers(CALs)and nanoplates(CAnaps),or complete long period stacking ordered(LpSO)*** order to reveal the deformation mechanisms,in-situ synchrotron X-ray diffraction line profile analysis was employed for a detailed study of the dislocation arrangement created during tension in mg-0.9%Zn-2.05%Y-0.15%Al(at%)*** uncovering the effect of the initial microstructure on the mechanical performance,additional samples were obtained by annealing of the as-consolidated specimen at 300 and 400℃ for 2 *** heat treatment at 300℃ had no significant effect on the initial microstructure,its evolution during tension and,thus,the overall deformation behavior under tensile *** the other hand,annealing at 400℃ resulted in a significant increase of the recrystallized grains fraction and a decrease of the dislocation density,leading to only minor degradation of the mechanical *** maximum dislocation density at the failure of the samples corresponding to the plastic strain of 10-25% was estimated to be about 16-20×10^(14)m^(-2).The diffraction profile analysis indicated that most dislocations formed during tension were of non-basal and pyramidal types,what was also in agreement with the Schmid factor values revealed independently from orientation *** was also shown that the dislocation-induced Taylor hardening was much lower below the plastic strain of 3% than above this value,which was explained by a model of the interaction between prismatic dislocations and CAnaps/LpSO plates.

Spinel cubic ferrites have huge applications in me mory and high frequency *** the improvement of these modern devices,the magnetic coercivity,permeability,and dielectric properties of a ferrite are the important *** article focuses on improving the magnetic coercivity,magnetic permeability,and dielectric properties of co_(0.2)Zn_(0.3)ni_(0.5)Eu_(x)Fe_(2-x)O_(4) ferrites,where x=0.00,0.06,and *** X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),field emission scanning electron microscopy(FESEm),energy dispersive X-ray(EDX),vibrating sample magnetometer(VSm),and an impedance analyzer were used to characterize the structural,magnetic,and dielectric properties of the *** XRD patterns indicate the formation of spinel cubic structure of the samples with a secondary peak(EuFeO_(3))for Eu doped *** densities and porosities of the samples follow an inverse trend,where the doped samples’lattice parameters are increased with the increment of rare earth Eu *** FTIR analysis also proves the spinel cubic phase of the *** average grain size of the ferrites is obtained via FESEm images,and it is increased from 121 to 198 *** analysis confirms that doping of the Eu content also changes other hysteresis loop properties of co_(0.2)Zn_(0.3)ni_(0.5)Eu_(x)Fe_(2-x)O_(4) ***,the coercivity of the Eu doped samples is greater than that of the mother alloy(x=0.00).The EDX study shows that there is no impurity contamination in the *** permeability and dielectric measurements show an improved quality factor of the Eu-doped samples with low magnetic and dielectric *** dependent resistivity and impedance analysis also show the improved *** the observed properties of the samples,all the investigated ferrites might be strong candidates for potential applications in memory devices,magnetic sensors,and high frequency applications.

This paper explores the performances of a finite element simulation including four concrete models applied to a full-scale reinforced concrete beam subjected to blast *** test data has been used to compare model results for each *** numerical modelling has been,carried out using the suitable code *** code integrates blast load routine(conWEp)for the explosive description and four different material models for the concrete including:Karagozian&Case concrete,Winfrith,continuous Surface Cap model and RiedeleHiermaiereThoma models,with concrete meshing based on 10,15,and 20 *** full-scale beams were tested:four of them used for the initial calibration of the numerical model and two more tests at lower scaled *** calibration,field data obtained employing pressure and accelerometers transducers were compared with the results derived from the numerical *** surfaces and the shape of rupture in the beams have been used as references for *** of the meshing on accelerations has been put in evidence and for some models the shape and size of the damage in the beams produced maximum differences around 15%.In all cases,the variations between material and mesh models are shown and discussed.

Red blood cells(RBCs)are the most abundant human blood *** aggregation and deformation strongly determine blood viscosity which impacts hemorheology and *** turn,RBC properties depend on di®erent endogenous and exogenous *** such factor is nitric oxide(nO),which is mainly produced by endothelial cells(EC)from L-arginine amino acid in the circulatory *** the mechanisms of the RBC-endothelium interplay are not clear up to date and considering its possible clinical importance,the aims of this study are to investigate in vitro:(1)The e®ect of L-arginine induced nO on RBC aggregation and adhesion to endothelium;(2)the nO e®ect on RBC aggregation and deformation induced by L-arginine and sodium nitroprusside without the presence of endothelium in the *** RBC aggregation and adhesion to a monolayer of EC were studied using optical tweezers(OT).The RBC deformability and aggregation without endothelium in the samples were studied using the°ow chamber method and myrenne *** con¯rmed that nO increases deformability and decreases aggregation of *** showed that the soluble guanylate cyclase pathway appears to be the only nO signaling pathway *** the samples with the endothelium,the\bell-shaped"dependence of RBC aggregation force on L-arginine concentration was observed,which improves our knowledge about the process of nO production by ***,data related to L-arginine accumulation by endothelium were obtained:necessity of the presence of extracellular L-arginine stated by other authors was put under *** our study,nO decreased the RBC-endothelium adhesion,however,the tendency appeared to be weak and was not con¯rmed in another set of *** our knowledge,this is the¯rst attempt to measure the forces of RBC adhesion to endothelium monolayer with OT.

Fluid flow throttling is common in industrial and building services *** tunnel throttling of vehicular flow is caused by the abrupt number reduction of roadway lane,as the tunnel has a lower lane number than in the roadway normal *** predict the effects of tunnel throttling of annular freeway vehicular flow,a three-lane continuum model is ***Ⅲof the tunnel is completely blocked due to the need of tunnel rehabilitation,*** exists mandatory net lane-changing rate from laneⅢto laneⅡjust upstream of the tunnel entrance,which is described by a model of random number generated through a golden section *** net-changing rate between adjacent lanes is modeled using a lane-changing time expressed explicitly in algebraic *** paper assumes that the annular freeway has a total length of 100 km,a two-lane tunnel of length 2 km with a speed limit of 80 km/*** free flow speeds on lanesⅠ,ⅡandⅢare assumed to be 110,100 and 90 km/h *** on the three-lane continuum model,numerical simulations of vehicular flows on the annular freeway with such a tunnel are conducted with a reliable numerical method of 3rd-order *** results reveal that the vehicular flow has a smaller threshold of traffic jam formation in comparison with the case without tunnel *** fuel consumption can be estimated by interpolation with time averaged grid traffic speed and an assumed curve of vehicle *** vehicle fuel consumption is lane number dependent,distributes with initial density concavely,ranging from 5.56 to 8.00 *** throttling leads to an earlier traffic jam formation in comparison with the case without tunnel throttling.

Epidemiology of work-related hand and wrist injuries in a referral center: A descriptive study

BACKGROUnD Occupational hand and wrist injuries(OHWIs)account for 25%of work-related accidents in low-and middle-income *** colombia,more than 500000 occupational accidents occurred in 2021,and although the rate declined to less than 5%in 2020 and 2021,at least one in four accidents involved a hand or wrist *** To describe the OHWIs in workers seen at the emergency room at a second-level hospital in *** An observational study was performed using data from workers who experienced OHWIs and attended a second-level hospital,between June,2020 and may,*** overall frequency of OHWIs,as well as their distribution by sociodemo-graphic,clinical,and occupational variables,are ***,association patterns between sex,anatomical area(fingers,hand,wrist),and type of job were analyzed by correspondence analysis(CA).RESULTS There were 2.101 workers treated for occupational accidents,423(20.3%)were cases of OHWIs,which mainly affected men(93.9%)with a median age of 31 years and who worked mainly in mining(75.9%).OHWIs were more common in the right upper extremity(55.3%)and comprised different types of injuries,such as contusion(42.1%),laceration(27.9%),fracture(18.7%),and crush injury(15.6%).They primarily affected the phalanges(95.2%),especially those of the first finger(25.7%).The CAs showed associations between the injured anatomical area and the worker’s job that differed in men and women(explained variance>90%).conCLUSIOn One out of five workers who suffered occupational accidents in Cundinamarca,columbia had an OHWI,affecting mainly males employed in *** occupational profile is likely to lead to prolonged rehabilitation,and permanent functional *** results might be useful for adjusting preventive measures in cluster risk groups.
