Tauopathies are a group of neurodegenerative diseases characterized by abnormal metabolism of the misfolded tau protein. Tau is encoded by the microtubule-associated protein tau gene(MApT) and can be classified as either 3-repeat(3R) or 4-repeat(4R) based on the number of repeat domains from alternative splicing of exon 10 of the MApT gene.

Situational Crisis Communication Theory(SCCT)guides responses of corporations in *** tested how COVID-19 related crisis communication strategies affect trust in mayors and the acceptance of behavioral measures.A total of 561 participants(53%female)with a mean age of 50 years took part in an online experiment in which we systematically manipulated the mayor's crisis communication strategy(deny crisis,diminish role in crisis,rebuild relationship after taking responsibility,bolster reputation,no response)and pre-crisis reputation(good past crisis management,bad past crisis management).Age,gender,and education served as *** also tested the predictive power of personal concern regarding the COVID-19 pandemic,as well as internal and external control *** our preregistered analysis,we found that crisis communication strategies had no significant effect on participants'ratings of behavioral measures,but they affected participants'trust in the *** deny crisis strategy resulted in the most unfavorable ratings,while the effects of the other strategies were moderated by the mayor's precrisis *** exploratory analyses showed that individual concern and trust were important predictors for the acceptance of behavioral *** though we did not find any effects of communication strategies on behavioral measures,our results support SCCT's utility in guiding communication strategy during a pandemic.

This literature review investigates the significant overlap between myelin-repair signaling pathways and pathways known to contribute to hallmark pathologies of Alzheimer’s disease(AD).We discuss previously investigated therapeutic targets of amyloid,tau,and ApoE,as well as other potential therapeutic targets that have been empirically shown to contribute to both remyelination and progression of *** evidence shows that there are multiple AD-relevant pathways which overlap significantly with remyelination and myelin repair through the encouragement of oligodendrocyte proliferation,maturation,and myelin *** is a present need for a single,cohesive model of myelin homeostasis in *** determining a causative pathway is beyond the scope of this review,it may be possible to investigate the pathological overlap of myelin repair and AD through therapeutic approaches.

Background:Traumatic spinal cord injury(SCI)is also a combat-related injury that is increasing in modern *** aim of this work is to inform medical experts regarding the different course of bladder cancer in able-bodied patients compared with SCI patients based on the latest medical scientific knowledge,and to present decision-making aids for the assessment of bladder cancer as a late sequela of traumatic ***:A study conducted between january 1998 and December 2019 in the BG Trauma Hospital Hamburg formed the basis for the decision-making *** bladder cancer was diagnosed in 40 out of 7396 treated outpatient and inpatient SCI *** patient information,latency period,age at initial diagnosis,type of bladder management and survival of SCI patients with bladder cancer were collected and analysed.T category,grading and tumor entity in these patients were compared with those in the general *** bladder cancer risk factors in SCI patients were ***,relevant published literature was taken into ***:Initial diagnosis of urinary bladder cancer in SCI patients occurs at a mean age of 56.4 years(SD±10.7 years),i.e.,approximately 20 years earlier as compared with the general *** bladder cancers are significantly more frequently muscle invasive(i.e.,T category≥T2)and present a higher grade at initial ***,SCI patients show a significantly higher proportion of the more aggressive squamous cell carcinoma than that of the general population in areas not endemic for the tropical disease ***,the survival time is extremely unfavourable.A very important finding,for practical reasons is that,in the Hamburg study as well as in the literature,urinary bladder cancer is more frequently observed after 10 years or more of *** on these findings,a matrix was compiled where the various influencing factors,either for or against the recognition of an associ
