We investigate the constraints on the sum of neutrino masses（Σmv） using the most recent cosmological data, which combines the distance measurement from baryonic acoustic oscillation in the extended Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey DR14 quasar sample with the power spectra of temperature and polarization anisotropies in the cosmic microwave background from the planck 2015 data release. We also use other low-redshift observations,including the baryonic acoustic oscillation at relatively low redshifts, Type la supernovae, and the local measurement of the hubble constant. In the standard cosmological constant A cold dark matter plus massive neutrino model,we obtain the 95% upper limit to be Σmv 〈0.129 eV for the degenerate mass hierarchy,Σmv 〈0.159 eV for the normal mass hierarchy, and Σmv 〈0.189 eV for the inverted mass hierarchy. Based on Bayesian evidence, we find that the degenerate hierarchy is positively supported, and the current data combination cannot distinguish between normal and inverted hierarchies. Assuming the degenerate mass hierarchy, we extend our study to non-standard cosmological models including generic dark energy, spatial curvature, and extra relativistic degrees of freedom, but find these models are not favored by the data.

As an emerging member of the two-dimensional(2D)material family,V_(2)CT_(X)MXene shows great potential in the application of lithium-ion capacitors(LICs)due to its unique structure and excellent electrical ***,severe nanosheets stacking and intra-layer transport barriers have limited the further development of V_(2)CT_(X)MXene-based ***,we prepared Kions and–O functional group co-modified V_(2)CT_(X)MXene(VCT-K)and further incorporated it with single-walled carbon nanotube(SWCNT),obtaining freestanding V_(2)CT_(X)composite films(VCT-K@C)with the 3D conductive ***,K+ions were introduced into V_(2)CT_(X)MXene to stabilize the interlayer structure and prevent the aggregation of nanosheets,the terminal group of–O was controllably modified on the surface of MXene to improve the Li+ions storage reversible capacities and the SWCNT acted as the bridge between MXene nanosheets to opens up the channels for ion/electron transportation in the longitudinal *** from the synergistic effect of VCT-K and SWCNT,the VCT-K@C exhibits superior reversible specific capacities of 671.8 mA h g^(-1)at 0.1 A g^(-1)and 318 mA h g^(-1)at 1.0 A g^(-1).Furthermore,the assembled LICs with VCT-K@C anode coupling activated carbon(AC)cathode deliver an outstanding power density of 19.0 kW kg^(-1)at 67.4 Wh kg^(-1),a high energy density of 140.5 Wh kg^(-1)at 94.8 W kg^(-1)and a stable capacitance retention of 86%after 6000 cycles at 10 A g^(-1).Such unique structures and excellent electrochemical properties are expected to pave the way for the large-scale application in LICs of MXene-based materials.

In Alzheimer抯 disease (AD), hyperphosphorylation of tau may be the underlying mechanism for the cytoskeletal abnormalities and neuronal death. It was reported that cy-clin-dependent kinase5 (cdk-5) could phosphorylate tau at most AD-related epitopes in vitro. In this study, we investigated the effect of cdk-5 overexpression on tau phosphorylation and spatial memory in rat. We demonstrated that 24 h after transfection into rat hippocampus, cdk-5 was overexpressed and induced a reduced staining with antibody tau-1 and an enhanced staining with antibodies 12e8 and phF-1, suggesting hyperphosphorylation of tau at Ser199/202, Ser262/356 and Ser396/404 sites. Additionally, the cdk-5 transfected rats showed long latency to find the hidden platform in Morris water maze compared to the control rat. 48 h after transfection, the level of cdk-5 was decreased significantly, and the latency of rats to find the hidden platform was prolonged. It implies that in vivo overexpression of cdk-5 leads to impairment of spatial memory in rat and tau hyperphosphorylation may be the underlying mechanism.

Due to the typical intercalation-deintercalation mechanism,TiO_(2) holds great promise as a sustainable anode for next-generation lithium-ion batteries(LIBs).however,commercial TiO_(2)(C–TiO_(2))is granular and shows slow ionic conductivity,which greatly hinders its development due to sluggish kinetics,leading to low reversible capacity and inferior rate *** this study,a two-dimensional layered TiO_(2)(L-TiO_(2))anode is prepared via a one-step calcination process,which can effectively shorten the lithium ions diffusion path and improve its lithium ions *** elucidated the enhanced electrochemical performance of L-TiO_(2) as an anode in LIBs through pseudocapacitive acceleration of lithium ions intercalation and deintercalation using various characterization techniques,including different scan rate cyclic voltammetry tests,in situ electrochemical impedance spectroscopy,in situ Raman spectroscopy,and in situ X-ray *** comparison to C–TiO_(2) material,L-TiO_(2) material showcases remarkable electrochemical performance,achieving a capacity of 166 mAh/g after 100 cycles at 0.1 ***,the lithium-ion diffusion coefficient calculated for the L-TiO_(2) is two orders of magnitude greater,underscoring its potential as a negative electrode material for LIBs.

In this work,a focused ion beam(FIB)-scanning electron microscopy(SEM) dual beam system was successfully built by integrating a FIB column and a graphics generator onto a ***-time observation can be realized by SEM during the process of FIB *** kinds of graphics at nanoscale regime,such as lines,characters,and pictures,were achieved under the control of graphics ***,the FIB milling line width can be reduced nearly 27% by the introduction of simultaneous electron beam,and a line width as small as 10 nm was *** numerical analysis indicates that the significant improvement on line width is induced by the Coulomb interaction between the electrons and ions.

The extraction of pavement cracks is always a hard task in image *** airport and road construction,cracking is the main factor for pavement damage,which can decrease the quality of pavement and affect transportation *** also exist in other artificial or natural objects,such as buildings,bridges,tunnels,*** all the object images,pavement crack images are the most complex,so the image processing and analysis for them is harder than other crack *** the early image acquisition based on photography technology to the current 3 D laser scanning technology,the pavement crack image acquisition technology is becoming more convenient and efficient,but there are still challenges in the automatic processing and recognition of cracks in *** the early global thresholding to deep learning algorithms,the research for crack extraction has been developed for about 40 *** are many methods and algorithms that are satisfactory in pavement crack applications,but there is no standard until ***,in order to know the developing history and the advanced research,we have collected a number of literature in this research topic for summarizing the research artwork status,and giving a review of the pavement crack image acquisition methods and2 D crack extraction ***,for image acquisition methods and pavement crack image segmentation,more detailed comparison and discussions are made.

Edge detection enables identification of geomorphologic unit boundaries and thus assists with geomorphical mapping. In this paper, an intelligent edge identification method is proposed and image processing techniques are applied to multi-beam bathymetry data. To accomplish this, a color image is generated by the bathymetry, and a weighted method is used to convert the color image to a gray image. As the quality of the image has a significant influence on edge detection, different filter methods are applied to the gray image for de-noising. The peak signal-to-noise ratio and mean square error are calculated to evaluate which filter method is most appropriate for depth image filtering and the edge is subsequently detected using an image binarization method. Traditional image binarization methods cannot manage the complicated uneven seafloor, and therefore a binarization method is proposed that is based on the difference between image pixel values; the appropriate threshold for image binarization is estimated according to the probability distribution of pixel value differences between two adjacent pixels in horizontal and vertical directions, respectively. Finally, an eight-neighborhood frame is adopted to thin the binary image, connect the intermittent edge, and implement contour extraction. Experimental results show that the method described here can recognize the main boundaries of geomorphologic units. In addition, the proposed automatic edge identification method avoids use of subjective judgment, and reduces time and labor costs.

The Yidun Group extends from the Shangri-La region to the south and the Changtai region to the north,and is an important component of the Triassic Yidun arc in the eastern Tibetan *** is composed of the Lieyi,Qugasi,Tumugou and Lanashan Formations from the base *** the Lieyi and Lanashan Formations consist dominantly of black or gray slate and sandstone,whereas the Qugasi and Tumugou Formations have variable amounts of mafic to felsic volcanic rocks and turfs accompanied with gray slate and *** from the Yidun Group has variable CIA values from 55 to 76,indicative of mild to moderate weathering condition for the source *** the sandstones define a general weathering trend nearly parallel to the A-CN boundary in the A-CN-K triangular diagram,implying limited effect of diagenetic and post-depositional *** detrital quartz and feldspar grains of the sandstones suggest predominantly felsic *** high Y/Ni and low Cr/V ratios of sandstones from the Yidun Group indicate more contribution from felsic than mafic ***,the Yidun sandstones have Co/Th and La/Sc ratios generally similar to upper continental crust （UCC） and cluster between UCC and felsic sources,indicating felsic rocks as primary *** represents the average chemical composition of sources as evaluated by extending the predicted weathering trend back to the feldspar join in A-CN-K *** high Zr/Sc ratio or hf concentration and paleoproterozoic Nd modal ages （1.94-2.21 Ga）point to input of recycling components derived from old sedimentary source in a relatively stable tectonic setting.
