Reaction synthesis process has been used to develop γ titanium aluminide using elemental powders. powder mixture of Ti-48 at. pct AI was prepared in ball mill and reaction synthesis was carried out in hot press with varying temperature and pressure. Titanium aluminide synthesized under high pressure and temperature resulted in better properties with respect to densification, homogenization response, mechanical properties and oxidation resistance as compared to that synthesized under low pressure and temperature. AI rich phases were observed in as-synthesized condition in all the experiments. However, some Ti rich phases were also found in high pressure-temperature synthesized samples. Density, hardness and tensile strength have been correlated with applied pressure through empirical relations. Variation in density with pressure is found to be logarithmic whereas hardness and tensile strength variation with pressure is polynomial.

Cannabis is a common drug of abuse that is associated with various long-term and short-term adverse effects. The nature of its association with vomiting after chronic abuse is obscure and is underrecognised by *** some patients this vomiting can take on a pattern similar to cyclic vomiting syndrome with a peculiar compulsive hot bathing pattern,which relieves intense feelings of nausea and accompanying *** this case report,we describe a twenty-two year-old-male with a history of chronic cannabis abuse presenting with recurrent vomiting,intense nausea and abdominal *** addition,the patient reported that the hot baths improved his symptoms during these *** from cannabis led to resolution of the vomiting symptoms and abdominal *** conclude that in the setting of chronic cannabis abuse,patients presenting with chronic severe nausea and vomiting that can sometimes be accompanied by abdominal pain and compulsive hot bathing behaviour,in the absence of other obvious causes,a diagnosis of cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome should be considered.

Aliphatic C–H groups are among the most abundant yet least reactive functional groups in organic molecules. Nature has evolved metalloenzymes such as those of the cytochrome p450 superfamily that efficiently activate individual tertiary（3） and secondary （2） C（sp3）–H bonds in complex molecules with the highest level of regio-and stereoselectivity [1], thus encouraging studies aimed at engineering artificial metalloenzymes for synthetic applications [2].

Spinal cord injury results in paralysis, sensory disturbances, sphincter dysfunction, and multiple systemic secondary conditions, most arising from autonomic dysregulation. All this produces profound negative psychosocial implications for affected people, their families, and their communities;the financial costs can be challenging for their families and health institutions. Treatments aimed at restoring the spinal cord after spinal cord injury, which have been tested in animal models or clinical trials, generally seek to counteract one or more of the secondary mechanisms of injury to limit the extent of the initial damage. Most published works on structural/functional restoration in acute and chronic spinal cord injury stages use a single type of treatment: a drug or trophic factor, transplant of a cell type, and implantation of a biomaterial. Despite the significant benefits reported in animal models, when translating these successful therapeutic strategies to humans, the result in clinical trials has been considered of little relevance because the improvement, when present, is usually insufficient. Until now, most studies designed to promote neuroprotection or regeneration at different stages after spinal cord injury have used single treatments. Considering the occurrence of various secondary mechanisms of injury in the acute and sub-acute phases of spinal cord injury, it is reasonable to speculate that more than one therapeutic agent could be required to promote structural and functional restoration of the damaged spinal cord. Treatments that combine several therapeutic agents, targeting different mechanisms of injury, which, when used as a single therapy, have shown some benefits, allow us to assume that they will have synergistic beneficial effects. Developing effective and long-term treatment strategies for rare and complex neurodegenerative diseases is challenging. One of the major roadblocks is the extensive heterogeneity among patients. This hinders understanding the underlying disease-causing mechanisms and building solutions that have implications for a broad spectrum of patients. One potential solution is to develop personalized medicine approaches based on strategies that target the most prevalent cellular events that are perturbed in patients. Especially in patients with a known genetic mutation, it may be possible to understand how these mutations contribute to problems that lead to neurodegeneration. protein–protein interaction analyses offer great advantages for revealing how proteins interact, which cellular events are primarily involved in these interactions, and how they become affected when key genes are mutated in patients. This line of investigation also suggests novel druggable targets for patients with different mutations. Here, we focus on alsin and spastin, two proteins that are identified as “causative” for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and hereditary spastic paraplegia, respectively, when mutated. Our review analyzes the protein interactome for alsin and spastin, the canonical pathways that are primarily important for each protein domain, as well as compounds that are either Food and Drug Administration–approved or are in active clinical trials concerning the affected cellular pathways. This line of research begins to pave the way for personalized medicine approaches that are desperately needed for rare neurodegenerative diseases that are complex and heterogeneous.

Objective:To investigate the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity of orally administered methanolic leaf extract of Dalbergia paniculala(***) in Carrageenan induced inflammation in ***:In vitro antioxidant activity was evaluated for superoxide radical, Hydroxyl radical and DppH radical scavenging *** doses 200 mg/kg,400 mg/kg and 800 mg/kg of *** were tested for anti-inflammatory activity in Carrageenan induced rat paw edema model and paw thickness was measured every one hour up to 6 h. Results:The melhanolic leaf extract of *** produced dose dependent inhibition of Superoxide radical,Hydroxyl radical and OppH *** Carrageenan induced inflammation model,all three doses produced significant percentage inhibition of rat paw edema and 800 mg/kg dose produced maximum percent inhibition of rat paw edema(47.83%) at 3h compared to control ***:In the present study we found that methanolic leaf extract of *** showed good in vitro antioxidant activity and in vivo anti-inflammatory activity in rats.

Marginal contact binary systems are an important class of binary systems in exploited by astronomers to understand various astrophysical phenomena as they bridge both semi-detached and overcontact *** studied the photometric data of CW Aqr using the JCB 1.3 m telescope(JCBT),Kepler,and TESS to understand the period variations and constrain the light curve *** noted that the period of CW Aqr is increasing with a mass transfer rate of m=7.53×10^(-8)M_(⊙)yr^(-1)from the secondary to the primary *** also ascertained cyclic deviations along with a parabolic trend in the O-C *** residuals displayed a sinusoidal trend which was fitted with an LTTE,indicating the presence of a third body with an orbital period of p_(3)~10 yr and e=*** fitted the JCBT,Kepler,and TESS photometric normalized light curves and noted the mass ratio to be q~0.32 for both contact and semi-detached *** identified a temperature difference between the primary and secondary components of~2500 *** activity signatures were found in the observed light curves which were also evident from the Hαline studies where the filled-in effect was not *** our study suggests that CW Aqr is a marginal contact binary with a low mass ratio evolving toward a semi-detached ***,it may merge if the period increases due to ongoing mass transfer accompanied by a lowering in the mass ratio and later oscillate back to the period-decreasing trend due to angular momentum loss over a few cycles of thermal relaxation oscillations followed by instability.

The fabrication of zinc oxide(ZnO) from inexpensive solution-processing techniques,namely,electrochemical deposition and electrospinning were explored on various conducting and mesoporous semiconducting *** conditions were derived for template- and self-assisted nano/micro structures and composites. ZnO thin films were annealed at a fixed temperature under ambient conditions and characterised using physical and optical *** photocurrent response in the UV region shows a fast rise and double decay behaviour with a fast component followed by a slow oscillatory *** results were correlated with surface chemical analysis from X-ray photoelectron *** characterisation details reveal the importance of fabrication parameter optimisation for useful low-cost optoelectronic applications.

We investigate the spectrum and decay rates of charmonium states within the framework of the non relativistic quark model by employing a Coulomb like potential from the perturbative one gluon exchange and the linear confining potential along with the potential derived from instanton vacuum to account for the hyperfine mass splitting of charmonium states in variational approach. We predict radiative E1, M1, two-photon, lepton and two-gluon decay rates of low lying charmonium states. An overall agreement is obtained with the experimental masses and decay *** have estimated the branching ratio of two gluons decaying into light hadrons.

Information-Centric Networking(ICN)is considered a viable strategy for regulating Internet consumption using the Internet’s underlying *** Named Data Networking(NDN)and its reference-based implementa-tion,the NDN Forwarding Daemon(NFD),are the most established ICN solu-tions,their vulnerability to the Content poisoning Attack(CpA)is regarded as a severe threat that might dramatically impact this *** poisoning can signiﬁcantly minimize the impact of NDN’s universal data *** veriﬁcation signatures to protect against content poisoning attacks may be imprac-tical due to the associated costs and the volume of messages sent across the net-work,resulting in high computational ***,in this research,we designed a method in NDN called Bird Swarm Optimization Algorithm-Based Content poisoning Mitigation(BSO-Content poisoning Mitigation Scheme).By aggregating the security information of entire routers along the full path,this sys-tem introduces the BSO to explore the secure transmission path and alter the con-tent retrieval ***,based on the determined trustworthy value of each node,the BSO-Content poisoning Mitigation Scheme can bypass malicious routers,preventing them from disseminating illicit content in the ***-ally,the suggested technique can minimize content poisoning utilizing removing erroneous Data packets from the cache-store during the pathﬁnding *** proposed method has been subjected to extensive analysis compared with the ROM scheme and improved performance justiﬁed in several ***-Con-tent poisoning Mitigation Scheme is more efﬁcient and faster than the ROM tech-nique in obtaining valid Data packets and resulting in a higher good cache hit ratio in a comparatively less amount of time.
