The present article is concerned with the propagation of plane waves in a homogeneous,fiber-reinforced orthotropic thermoelastic ro-tating half-space in the context of three-phase-lag *** exist three coupled waves,namely,quasi-longitudinal p-wave(qp),quasi-longitudinal thermal wave(qT)and quasi-transverse wave(qSV)in the *** reflection coefficients are computed numerically with the help of MATLAB programming and are depicted graphically to show the effects of rotation,fiber-reinforcement and phase lag *** expressions of energy ratios have also been obtained in explicit form and are shown graphically as functions of angle of *** has been verified that during reflection phenomena,the sum of energy ratios is equal to unity at each angle of *** of anisotropy is depicted on velocities of various reflected *** particular cases of interest have also been inferred from the present investigation.

A dynamical model for toxin producing phytoplankton and zooplankton has been formu- lated and analyzed. Due to gestation of prey, a discrete time delay is incorporated in the predator dynamics. The stability of the delay model is discussed and Hopf bifurcation to a periodic orbit is established. Stability and direction of bifurcating periodic orbits are investigated using normal form theory and center manifold arguments. Global existence of periodic orbits is also established. To substantiate analytical findings, numerical simu- lations are performed. The system shows rich dynamic behavior including chaos and limit cycles. The influence of seasonality in intrinsic growth parameter of the phytoplankton population is also investigated. Seasonality leads to complexity in the system.

The present work is focusing on the synthesization and physico-chemical properties of Jatropha curcas biodiesel with diesel and *** densities of binary diesel(2)+1-alkanols(C_(3) or C_(4))(3)and ternary Jatropha curcas biodiesel(1)+diesel(2)+1-alkanols(C_(3)or C_(4))(3)blends have been reported over full range of composition at temperatures within range 288.15 to 313.15 *** densities of Jatropha curcas biodiesel(1)+diesel or 1-alkanols(C_(3) or C_(4))(2)blends have been measured at 313.15 *** molar volumes,V^E,V^E_(123)of binary and ternary blends were calculated from the measured data and the derived properties were correlated to composition using Redlich-Kister equation.A reasonable agreement was found between the measured and estimated ***,densities and excess molar volumes data were reasoned to discuss molecular interactions taking into consideration effect of composition and temperature.

Hepsin,a transmembrane serine protease abundant in renal endothelial cells,is a promising therapeutic target against several cancers,particularly prostate *** is involved in the release and polymerization of uromodulin in the urine,which plays a role in kidney stone *** this work,we design new potential hepsin inhibitors for high activity,improved specificity towards hepsin,and promising ADMET *** ligands were developed in silico through a novel hierarchical *** pipeline explicitly accounts for off-target binding to the related serine proteases matriptase and HGFA(human hepatocyte growth factor activator).We completed the pipeline incorporating ADMET properties of the candidate inhibitors into custom multi-objective optimization *** ligands designed show excellent prospects for targeting hepsin via the blood stream and the urine and thus enable key experimental *** computational pipeline proposed is remarkably costefficient and can be easily adapted for designing inhibitors against new drug targets.

We developed a method for in vitro regenera- tion of Garcinia xanthochymus （yellow mangosteen） from matured seed segments. Multiple shoots were induced on woody plant （Wp） medium supplemented with cytokinins. An average of 11 shoots per explant were regenerated from mature seed segments on Wp medium containing 20 μM 6-benzylaminopurine. Histological analysis revealed that hypodermal cells of seed segments were initially involved in active division, which later developed into meriste- moids, subsequently leading to the formation of shoot buds. Shoot elongation was achieved by repeated subculturing of seed explants in shoot regeneration medium. Rooting of shoots was achieved on Wp medium supplemented with indole-3-butyric acid or s-naphthalene acetic acid. plant- lets were transplanted to pots containing soil： compost （1：1） and survival rate was 90 %.

OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the antioxidant activity, phenolic and flavonoids contents of selected medicinal plants form the Western region of ***: The antioxidant activity of selected medicinal plants were determined by using 2, 2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl radical scavenging activity; total ferric ion reducing ability through spectroscopic analysis. The content of total phenols was determined using Folin-Ciocalteu reagent, whereas Aluminum chloride colorimetric method was used for flavonoid ***: Extracts of Syzygium Operculatus(87%),Astilbe Rivularis(83%) and Mallotus philippnensis(88%) showed significant free radical scavenging activity with effective concentration(EC50) close to that of ascorbic acid. Syzygium Operculatus(96%),Astilbe Rivularis(97%) and Mallotus philippnensis(97%) had potent reducing power in concentration dependent fashion. Those plant extract with higher free radical scavenging and ferric reducing effect also showed the greater content of both phenols and flavonoids, suggesting the correlation between polyphenolic content and antioxidant activity. Those plant extracts which showed better antioxidant activity assays, also demonstrated higher total phenol and flavonoid contents. These three plants showed the presence of higher amount of phenols and ***: This study may provide the scientific basis for the traditional use of those plants and may provide valuable idea for further research.
