Hogbomite,a rare exotic mineral,is found to be associated with the vanadiferous-titaniferous （v-Ti） bearing magnetite bands at Bhakatarhalli,Nuggihaifi greenstone belt,western Dharwar Craton,*** report on a second occurrence of hogbomite from the Dharwar craton in karnataka,which is the sixth documented occurrence of this mineral from *** evaluate the chemical characteristics of hogbomite and associated Fe-Ti-minerals in an attempt to identify its formation as a primary hydrothermal mineral in a metamorphosed magnetite *** report here the presence of hogbomite as a complex oxide of Fe,Mg,Al and Ti with accessory of Zn,v and *** studies suggest the （v-Ti） bearing magnetite （Mt） contain spinel,hogbomite,chlorite,martite,ilmenite （Ⅱ） and minor amounts of *** hogbomite displays euhedral to subhedral textures,and is up to 250 μm along the grain boundaries of magnetite and *** the samples studied,hogbomite is prismatic,irregular and elongated in *** genesis of hogbomite in veins between magnetite and ilmenite implies its precipitation from fluids without involving complicated *** models were proposed for the formation of hogbomite; however,the subject is still debatable.

The status of the names, physalis minima L. and p. maxima Mill. (solanaceae), and their alleged presence on the Indian subcontinent are discussed. The issues of nativity and identity of Linnaean physalis minima are long-debated while the use of the name p. maxima Mill. and its report from India are recent. The available evidence indicates that the name "p. minima L." is misapplied to two different elements, viz., p. angulata L. and p. lagascae Roem. & schult. The name physalis minima L. may be rejected as nomen confusum, for which the paper provides the primary information. As on today, it is submerged under the synonymy of p. angulata L. The correct name for the widely known p. minima is p. lagascae. The name "p. maxima Mill." applied to the escape and naturalized weed in the Indian subcontinent and elsewhere is to be substituted by p. pruinosa L., a name misapplied to p. grisea (Waterf.) M. Martínez.

The high thermal conductivity of the nanoparticles in hybrid nanofluids results in enhanced thermal conductivity associated with their base *** heat transfer is a result of this high thermal conductivity,which has significant applications in heat exchangers and engineering *** optimize heat transfer,a liquid film of Cu and TiO_(2)hybrid nanofluid behind a stretching sheet in a variable porous medium is being considered due to its *** nature of the fluid is considered time-dependent and the thickness of the liquid film is measured variable adjustable with the variable porous space and favorable for the uniform flow of the liquid *** solution of the problem is acquired using the homotopy analysis method HAM,and the artificial neural network ANN is applied to obtain detailed information in the form of error estimation and validations using the fitting curve *** data is utilized to train the ANN in this study,which uses Cu and TiO_(2)hybrid nanofluids in a variable porous space for unsteady thin film flow,and it is used to train the *** results indicate that Cu and TiO_(2)play a greater role in boosting the rate.

photon-counting computed tomography(pCCT)represents a significant advancement in pediatric cardiovascular *** CT systems employ energy-integrating detectors that convert X-ray photons into visible light,whereas pCCT utilizes photon-counting detectors that directly transform X-ray photons into electric *** direct conversion allows photon-counting detectors to sort photons into discrete energy levels,thereby enhancing image quality through superior noise reduction,improved spatial and contrast resolution,and reduced *** pediatric applications,pCCT offers substantial benefits,including lower radiation doses,which may help reduce the risk of malignancy in pediatric patients,with perhaps greater potential to benefit those with repeated exposure from a young *** spatial resolution facilitates better visualization of small structures,vital for diagnosing congenital heart ***,pCCT’s spectral capabilities improve tissue characterization and enable the creation of virtual monoenergetic images,which enhance soft-tissue contrast and potentially reduce contrast media *** clinical results indicate that pCCT provides superior image quality and diagnostic accuracy compared to conven-tional CT,particularly in challenging pediatric cardiovascular *** pCCT technology matures,further research and standardized protocols will be essential to fully integrate it into pediatric imaging practices,ensuring optimized diagnostic outcomes and patient safety.

A mathematical model is proposed to execute the features of the non-uniform heat source or sink in the chemically reacting magnetohydrodynamic （MHD） Casson fluid across a slendering sheet in the presence of microorganisms and Cattaneo-Christov heat flux. Multiple slips （diffusion, thermal, and momentum slips） are applied in the modeling of the heat and mass transport processes. The Runge-kutta based shooting method is used to find the solutions. Numerical simulation is carried out for various values of the physical constraints when the Casson index parameter is positive, negative, or infinite with the aid of plots. The coefficients of the skin factors, the local Nusselt number, and the sherwood number are estimated for different parameters, and discussed for engineering interest. It is found that the gyrotactic microorganisms are greatly encouraged when the dimensionless parameters increase, especially when the Casson fluid parameter is negative. It is worth mentioning that th~ velocity profiles when the Casson fluid parameter is positive are higher than those when the Casson fluid parameter is negative or infinite, whereas the temperature and concentration fields show exactly opposite phenomena.

Ras proteins are signal-transducing GTpases that cycle between inactive GDp-bound and active GTp-bound *** is a prolific signaling molecule interacting with a spectrum of effector molecules and acting through more than one signaling *** Ras-effector proteins contain a Ras-associating(RA)domain through which these associate with Ras in a GTp-dependent *** RA domain is highly conserved among the members of the growth factor receptor-bound(Grb)7 family of proteins which includes Grb7,Grb10 and *** laboratory has reported an unusual observation that RA domain of Grb14 binds to the C-terminal nucleotide binding site of cyclic nucleotide gated channel(CTRCNGA1)and inhibits the channel *** modeling of the CTR-CNGA1 displays 50%---70%tertiary structural similarity towards Ras *** named this region as Ras-like domain(RLD).The interaction between RA-Grb14 and RLD-CNGA1 is mediated through a simple protein-protein interaction temporally and spatially regulated by light and *** is interesting to note that Grb14 binds to GTpase-mutant Rab5,a Ras-related small GTpase whereas Grb10 binds only to GTp-bound form of active Rab5 but not to GTpase-defective mutant *** results suggest that Grb14 might have been evolved later in the evolution that binds to both Ras and nucleotide binding proteins such as *** studies also suggest that eukaryotic CNG channels could be evolved through a gene fusion between prokaryotic ion channels and cyclic nucleotide binding proteins,both of which might have undergone several sequence variations for functional adaptation during evolution.

Flexible Zn-based batteries have attracted increasing research interest as essential components of wearable energy storage ***,the advancement of flexible aqueous Zn-based batteries based on Co-Ni layered double hydroxide (CoNi-LDH) as the cathode material is hampered by their poor cycling stability and the corrosiveness of alkaline ***,CoNi-LDH nanosheets enriched with H vacancies (CoNi-LDH(v)) were constructed on a flexible carbon cloth (CC) substrate via electrochemical deposition and *** Zn-based battery comprising CoNi-LDH(v)@CC as the cathode exhibited highly reversible conversion reactions and stable operation in 3 M ZnsO4electrolyte (pH=4).The battery delivered an excellent specific capacity (225 mA h g^(-1),0.26 mA h cm^(-2)),acceptable cycling stability(53.9%,900 cycles),and high discharging *** abundant H vacancies served as active sites for the reversible intercalation of Zn^(2+)and the extravasation of NO_(3)-generated channels and space for Zn^(2+)transport and storage,together enabling an excellent Zn^(2+)storage ***,a sandwich-structured solid-state CoNi-LDH(v)@CC//Zn@CC battery was fabricated and was found to exhibit a noteworthy electrochemical performance and mechanical *** a proof of concept,the unencapsulated battery powered a digital watch under various deformation conditions and operated stably for 80 ***,the flexible battery displayed outstanding customizability,maintaining an open-circuit voltage of 1.42 v even after being cut *** proposed engineering strategy contributes to the realization of textiles with truly wearable energy-storage devices.

In this paper, the mechanical response of a one-dimensional (1D) hexagonal piezoelectric quasicrystal (pQC) thin film is analyzed under electric and temperature loads. Based on the Euler-Bernoulli beam theory, a theoretical model is proposed, resulting in coupled governing integral equations that account for interfacial normal and shear stresses. To numerically solve these integral equations, an expansion method using orthogonal Chebyshev polynomials is employed. The results provide insights into the interfacial stresses, axial force, as well as axial and vertical deformations of the pQC ***, fracture criteria, including stress intensity factors, mode angles, and the Jintegral, are evaluated. The solution is compared with the membrane theory, neglecting the normal stress and bending deformation. Finally, the effects of stiffness and aspect ratio on the pQC film are thoroughly discussed. This study serves as a valuable guide for controlling the mechanical response and conducting safety assessments of pQC film systems.

As the population ages,the burden of age-related diseases becomes ***,over 55 million people suffer from dementia worldwide,with Alzheimer’s disease being the most common ***,it is becoming clearer that underlying vascular pathology such as cerebral small vessel disease(csvD)may be a more detrimental cause for dementia(Cuadrado-Godia et al.,2018).It is estimated that 10%-30%of the elderly population and 35%-90%of all dementia patients exhibit signs of *** term csvD refers to pathology affecting the small vessels of the brain,which can lead to lacunar cerebral infarcts,enlarged perivascular spaces,and cortical hemorrhages(Cuadrado-Godia et al.,2018).CsvD is often associated with cognitive decline,gait problems,and dementia(Cuadrado-Godia et al.,2018).
