The sub-micron（of the order of 150 nm） thick core–shell composite fibers of magnesium ferrite-polyvinylidene fluoride are prepared by *** loading of magnesium ferrite is varied from 1 to 10 wt%.The study results by X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscope,and infra-red spectroscopy indicate the formation of core–shell structure and an enhancement in the amount of b-phase compared to a-phase in the polyvinylidene *** particle size of the magnesium ferrite in the fiber is evaluated to be 30 *** low frequency dielectric studies indicate that the addition of the magnesium ferrite increases the polarization resulting in the increase in the dielectric constant but decreases the dielectric *** magnetization measurements indicate an increased value of coercivity compared to bulk due to the nano-size of the magnesium *** microwave absorption at the ferromagnetic resonance increases with the increase in the concentration of magnesium *** resonance field is found to vary with the loading of MFO.

Cyclophosphazene nanotube （pZT） incorporated poly（benzoxazine-co-g-caprolactam）（p（BZ-co-CpL）） nano- composites were developed for improving flame retardant properties. The effects of pZT on the flammability properties of p（BZ-co-CpL） matrix were evaluated through UL-94 flammability test and limiting oxygen index （LOI）. The UL-94 results of p（BZ-co-CpL）/pZT hybrid nanocomposites showed V-1 rating, whereas neat p（BZ-co-CpL） showed burning rating. The LOI values are increased from 25.4 to 31.4 for 1.5 wt% pZT incorporated p（BZ-co-CpL） nanocomposite systems. SEM was used to study the char morphology of p（BZ-co-CpL）/pZT after being exposed to UL-94 flammability test. Data from thermal studies indicate that the pZT incorporated p（BZ-co-CpL） systems possess better Tg and thermal degradation behavior when compared to the neat p（BZ-co-CpL）. The values of dielectric constant are decreased with increasing temperature. From the values, it is ascertained that the p（BZ-co-CpL）/pZT systems exhibit stable dielectric behavior with regard to variation in temperature. The TEM images ascertain the uniform dispersion of pZT in the p（BZ-co-CpL） matrix.

Objective:In the Ayurvedic system of medicine,body constitution(prakruthi) is said to play a vital role in the disease process as well as in its *** radical toxicity is also involved in the etiopathogenesis of many ***,in the present study an attempt has been made to correlate the body constitution type and the antioxidant status of that ***:Healthy volunteers from Manipal University Campus, South Karnataka,India were classified into three main human constitutions(prakruthi) and their possible combinations and their serum total antioxidant activity was ***:There was a significant negative correlation of the total antioxidant status with the pitta prakruthi whereas vata and kapha constitutions showed no significant correlation with the total antioxidant ***:Ayurveda classifies each individual based on his/her prakruthi into three categories of Doshas:Vata,pitta and Kapha(collectively known as Tridoshas ). The three Doshas are fundamental regulatory principles responsible for maintaining organism functioning and manifesting those characteristics typifying each individual,that is,in equilibrium Tridoshas signify health and an imbalance leads to ***,in this study a significantly decreased antioxidant status in the pitta group would render them more susceptible to damage by oxidative ***,we suggest that supplementation with antioxidants of herbal(Ayurvedic) origin to such a group would prove to be beneficial - opening up the arena for pharmacogenomics and customized antioxidant drug administration based on the prakruthi of an individual.
