[Li（NTO）(Hb>2./sub>Ob>2./sub>]was prepared by mixing the aqueous solution of 3-nitro-1,2.4-triazol-5-one （NTO） and lithium hydroxide. The crystal structure of [Li（NTO）（Hb>2./sub>O）b>2./sub>] was determined by single crystal diffraction analysis. The crystal is monoclinic, space group p2.sub>1b>/n with crystal parameters of α =0.742.（2. nm, b=0.344 9（1） nm, c=2.490 6（3） nm,β=94.89（1）°, Z=4, Db>cb>=1.799 ***p>-3p>, V=0.635 nmp>3p>,μ= 1.591 cmp>-1p>, F（000） = 392. The final r is 0.051. The MNDO MO calculation shows that the coordinate bonds of title compound possess certain extent of covalent character. Ob>2./sub> atom of NTO anion is bonded to Li atom; the nitro group will be lost first when NTO is decomposed.

Making use of a set of quantum chemistry methods, the harmonic potential surfaces of the ground state (S0(1Ag)) and the first (S1(1b3u)) excited state of pyrazine are investigated, and the electronic structures of the two states are characterized. In the present study, the conventional quantum mechanical method, taking account of the born-Oppenheimer adiabatic approximation, is adopted to simulate the absorp-tion spectrum of S1(1b3u) state of pyrazine. The assignment of main vibronic transitions is made for S1(1b3u) state. It is found that the spectral profile is mainly described by the Franck-Condon progression of totally symmetric mode ν6a. For the five totally symmetric modes, the present calculations show that the frequency differences between the ground and the S1(1b3u) state are small. Therefore the displaced harmonic oscillator approximation along with Franck-Condon transition is used to simulate S1(1b3u) absorption spectra. The distortion effect due to the so-called quadratic coupling is demonstrated to be unimportant for the absorption spectrum, except the coupling mode ν10a. The calculated S1(1b3u) ab-sorption spectrum is in reasonable agreement with the experimental spectra.

Experiments on phosphorus （p） fraction characteristics in sediment resuspension were performed under adequate hydrodynamic conditions. It is found that the concentration of Suspended particulate Matter （SpM） in the eddy current region exhibits the ＂Matthew effect＂. Velocity is an impact factor of the Equilibrium phosphate Concentration （EpC）, which is related to other hydraulic conditions. Overall bioavailable dissolved p in the SpM causes migration to overlying water and sediment, eventually being converted into a chemical speciation of p. Conditions of resuspension promote A1-p of SpM that migrated to the sediment and water. Concentrations of A1-p in SpM are reduced. p is released from SpM to water bodies, mainly through conversion into particulate p and dissolved total p. Meanwhile, exchange between SpM and sediments occur mainly through Ca-p migration. A1-p and bD-p possess similar geochemical characteristics or source. Ca-p and A1-p exhibit a negative correlation between migration and conversion.

by means of TiO2.layer-on-SiO2.layer, anatase TiO2.was deposited on novel side- glowing optical fibers, which can provide side UV radiation along the whole fiber length. FE-SEM images show that the double layers adhered well to the side-glowing optical fiber, and the TiO2.coating was homogeneous and smooth. The decomposition reaction of reactive brilliant red dye X-3b on a single TiO2.coated side-glowing optical fiber indicated that the side-scattering UV light intensity was strong enough for photocatalytic oxi-dation reaction. Therefore, TiO2.coated side-glowing optical fibers open up a new way to use the optical fiber reactor in photocatalytic wastewater treatment.

During the rain time, the runoff infiltrates into the riverbank through the collecting gutter and slope surface. The city runoff is generally polluted by organic, oil, heavy metal particulates, etc. The pollutants moving with the water through the riverbank experience advection, dispersion, diffusion, adsorption, biochemical reaction and plant uptaking processes. In this article, a mathematical model was developed to simulate the performance of pollutant removal of the riverbank. The model took those main mechanisms into account. The modified richards equation was used in simulating flow field. The mass balance law was employed in deriving the equation for pollutant transport, where the diffusion and dispersion were described with the Fick-type law, the adsorption was macroscopically expressed as form isotherm, and the bio-chemical degradation process was assumed to follow the Monod kinetics. The NH3-N and Tp were considered in the present model. The mathematical model was descritized with a finite element numerical model, which was applied to two types of model riverbanks. In the model test, the hydraulic loading was assumed to have the intermittent pattern simulating the storm runoff of certain return period, and the values of the rainfall runoff and concentrations of the NH3-N and Tp were taken from the model test. The computed overall removal rates for the NH3-N and Tp in 6 cases are in the range of 88%-98%, 87%-97%, respectively. The differences between the computed and tested overall removal rates for the NH3-N and Tp are less than 5%. The time-varying oscillation pattern of the concentrations of the NH3-N and Tp were rationally simulated, which shows that the model presented in this article can be used to assess the purification performance of the riverbank constructed with sand or soil.

This paper presents a tectonic escape model for the formation of sedimentary basins in the yangzhou block of the Lower Yangtze region,Eastern *** sedimentary basins are identified in which the pukou Formation of the Upper Cretaceous has been *** south to north,the nine sedimentary basins are named:Wangjing,Qiangshan,Wuwei,Nanxuan, Changzhou,Jurong,nanjing,Quanjiao and Subei *** form a wedge-shape fragment(the yangzhou block) occupying an area of 100,000 km in the Lower Yangtze *** two side boundaries of the yangzhou block are the strike-slip Tanlu Fault and the strike-slip Quangjiao-Xiangshui Fault on the northwest and the strike-slip Qingyang-Nantong Fault on the *** wide end of the wedge faces the Southern Yellow Sea in the northeast and the narrow end contacts the Dabie block in the southwest. During the Early Mesozoic,collision between the Yangtze block and the North china block resulted in the formation of the Qinling-Dabie Orogenic belt and caused the Lower Yangtze region to become a foreland basin with many strike-slip *** the Late Mesozoic,wide spread extension in Eastern china and shortening in Qin-ling/Dabie Shan and in the Huaying Shan region resulted following establishment of an Andean-type arc margin to the east of the Southern Yellow Sea area,when"Greater Japan"collided with ***,the wedge-shaped yangzhou block escaped tectonically toward the northeast and formed distinctive geological features in nine sedimentary basins during pukou time in the Late *** geological features are reflected in basin spatial distributions,basin geometries,sedimentary facies,sediment thicknesses, sedimentary environments,and the petrology of fanglomerates and *** basins are part of a large population of arc-crestal rifts formed on top of that Andean arc. The proposed tectonic escape model could be useful in petroleum exploration and mining in the region.
