An exp.r. system prototype for fibre-reinforced plastic matrix (Frp) composite material design, ESFrp, has been developed. The system consists of seven main functional p.r.s: a general inference engine, a set of knowledge bases, a material prop.r.ies algorithm base, an explanation engine, various data bases, several function models and the user interface. The ESFrp can simulate human exp.r.s to make design scheme for fibre-reinforced plastics design, Frp layered plates design and Frp typical engineering components design. It can also predict the material prop.r.ies and make strength analysis according to the micro and macro mechanics of composite materials. A satisfied result can be gained through the reiterative design.

In this pap.r.we investigated how the running speed would affect the dynamics of body pitching, and whether body inertiais imp.r.ant for animals. passive trotting of spring-mass model and passive bounding of spring-beam model were studied atdifferent speeds for different sets of body p.r.meters respectively. Furthermore, different body inertias were used in *** found that running speed exerts effect on leg p.r.ormance by means of centrifugal force. The centrifugal force can be understoodas an enhancement to the natural frequency of the spring-mass system. The disadvantage of body pitching may beoffset by the great increase in centrifugal force at high speed. The results also reveal that body mass distribution might not be themain reason for the difference in maximal running speeds of different animals.

The optimal control to a p.r.ially controlled turbogenerator shaft torsionalvibration system is investigated. The principle of input feedforward control is presented to achievethe minimum of the average vibration energy in a system, and the optimal control matrix of thesystem is derived. A turbogenerator shaft system is taken as an example to simulate the optimalcontrol process of the torsional vibration. results from this simulation indicate that the vibrationcan be effectively controlled by a p.r.ial control strategy.

In this pap.r.a new hybrid excited doubly salient stator-p.r.anent-magnet motor is proposed,where both p.r.anent magnets and DC field windings are located in the *** theory,the mathematical model and design method of the motor are *** corresponding output power equation and the relationship between the flux control capability and the extended speed range are deduced in *** using an efficient "one-step" three-dimensional(3D) finite element method,the electromagnetic p.r.ormances are analyzed,in which the leakage flux outside the stator circumference and end-effect are taken into *** on the op.r.tion principle of the motor,the control strategy and scheme are developed and implemented *** exp.r.mental results and finite element analysis show that the proposed motor not only maintains the advantages of doubly salient p.r.anent magnet motors,but also offers high energy efficiency over a wide speed range,which makes the motor an interesting candidate for electric vehicles.

When making a diamond film by direct current plasma jet, a kind piece of flake is used as a base body Which the film can beattached to. The flake's temp.r.ture is unstable. Therefore, some exp.r.ments and constructed mathematical models, which were solvedby computer, were done. The results show that the flake's temp.r.ture is influenced by many factors and the mains are plasma jet powerand vacuum pressure. Through adjusting the two p.r.meters, the flake's temp.r.ture can be accurately controlled, furthermore, diamondfilms' quality would be improved. Lowering sediment platform's temp.r.ture has a little effect to the flake's temp.r.ture at present technology conditions.

By introducing rough Set Theory and the principle of Supp.r. vector machine,a gear fault diagnosis method based on them is ***,diagnostic decision-making is reduced based on rough set theory,and the noise and redundancy in the sample are removed,then,according to the chosen reduction,a supp.r. vector machine multi-classifier is designed for gear fault ***,SVM’training data can be reduced and running speed can *** shows its accuracy and effi- ciency of gear fault diagnosis.
