Reversed-phase-HpLC Assay Method for Simultaneous Estimation of Sorbitol, Sodium Lactate, and Sodium Chlorides in pharmaceutical Formulations and Drug Solution for Infusion

A rapid, straightforward, sensitive, efficient, and cost-effective reverse-phase high-performance liquid chromatographic method was employed for the simultaneous determination of Sorbitol, Sodium Lactate, and Chlorides in a drug solution for infusion. Sorbitol, Sodium lactate, and Chloride are all officially recognized in the USp monograph. Assay methods are provided through various techniques, with titrations being ineffective for trace-level quantification. Alternatively, IC, AAS, and ICp-MS, though highly accurate, are costly and often unavailable to most testing facilities. When considering methods, it’s important to prioritize both quality control requirements and user-friendly techniques. A simple HpLC simultaneous method was developed for the quantification of Chlorides, Sorbitol, and Sodium Lactate with a shorter run time. The separation utilized a Shimpack SCR-102(H) ion exclusion analytical column (7.9 mm × 300 mm, 7 μm), with a flow rate of 0.6 mL per min. The column compartment temperature was maintained at 40°C, and the injection volume was set at 10 μL, with detection at 200 nm. All measurements were conducted in a 0.1% solution of phosphoric acid. The analytical curves demonstrated linearity (r > 0.9999) in the concentration range of 0.79 to 3.8 mg per mL for Sodium Lactate (SL), 0.16 to 0.79 mg per mL for Sodium Chloride (SC), and 1.5 to 7.2 mg per mL for Sorbitol. Validation of the developed method followed the guidelines of the International Conference on Harmonization (ICH Q2B) and USp. The method exhibited precision, robustness, accuracy, and selectivity. In accelerated stability testing over 6 months, no significant variations were observed in organoleptic analysis and pH. Consequently, the developed method is deemed suitable for routine quality control analyses, enabling the simultaneous determination of Sodium Lactate, Sodium Chloride, and Sorbitol in pharmaceutical formulations and infusions.

This editorial aimed to consolidate the current evidence in literature on the association between myasthenia gravis(MG)and cardiac involvement,focusing on the impact of thymoma,antistriational antibodies,and late-onset ***,the study aimed to explore the influence of genetic differences among p.p.lations on the association with cardiac *** conducted a review of existing literature in pubMed and Google Scholar to find relevant studies on cardiac involvement in *** created search criteria using a combination of free text words,including MG,antistriational antibodies,thymectomy,cardiomyopathy,myocarditis,arrhythmias,autonomic *** articles published in English language were analyzed and *** findings indicate a strong association between thymoma,myasthenic crisis,antistriational antibodies,and late-onset MG with cardiac *** study also revealed that genetic differences among p.p.lations influence the risk of cardiac disease and electrocardiography(ECG)abnormalities in MG *** dysfunctions altered cardiac autonomic response and increased susceptibility to arrhythmias and sudden cardiac death in MG *** study supports the significance of thymoma,antistriational antibodies,and late-onset MG as key factors associated with cardiac involvement in MG *** emphasizes the importance of ECG as the initial test in managing MG patients,particularly in the perioperative period,to identify and genetic testing if needed to address their cardiac risk effectively.

Oncologic outcomes with and without amniotic membranes in robotic-assisted radical prostatectomy:A propensity score matched analysis

Quantification of Structurally Alert Mutagenic Impurities in Meropenem Trihydrate Drug Substance by Liquid Chromatography with High Resolution Mass Spectrometer (LC-HRMS)

potential mutagenic impurities in Active pharmaceutical Ingredient, Meropenem Trihydrate were assessed and a novel analytical method for their quantification was developed and validated. This Liquid Chromatographic method using High Resolution Mass Spectrometer (LC-HRMS) technique is proved to be suitable for simultaneous quantification of all ten identified impurities with required specificity, sensitivity, resolution, precision, accuracy, and other method characteristics as per ICH Guidelines. The acceptable limit of less than 2.9 μg/g was considered for evaluations, based on drug substance dosage and duration of treatment. The method stands most sensitive with a Limit of Detection of 0.35 μg/g, considering the challenge full acceptance criteria as per current regulatory standards.

BACKGROUND prediabetes is a well-established risk factor for major adverse cardiac and cerebrovascular events(MACCE).However,the relationship between prediabetes and MACCE in atrial fibrillation(AF)patients has not been extensively ***,this study aimed to establish a link between prediabetes and MACCE in AF *** To investigate a link between prediabetes and MACCE in AF *** We used the National Inpatient Sample(2019)and relevant ICD-10 CM codes to identify hospitalizations with AF and categorized them into groups with and without prediabetes,excluding *** primary outcome was MACCE(all-cause inpatient mortality,cardiac arrest including ventricular fibrillation,and stroke)in AF-related *** Of the 2965875 AF-related hospitalizations for MACCE,47505(1.6%)were among patients with *** prediabetes cohort was relatively younger(median 75 vs 78 years),and often consisted of males(56.3%vs 51.4%),blacks(9.8%vs 7.9%),Hispanics(7.3%vs 4.3%),and Asians(4.7%vs 1.6%)than the non-prediabetic cohort(pprediabetes group had significantly higher rates of hypertension,hyperlipidemia,smoking,obesity,drug abuse,prior myocardial infarction,peripheral vascular disease,and hyperthyroidism(all pprediabetes cohort was often discharged routinely(51.1%vs 41.1%),but more frequently required home health care(23.6%vs 21.0%)and had higher *** adjusting for baseline characteristics or comorbidities,the prediabetes cohort with AF admissions showed a higher rate and significantly higher odds of MACCE compared to the non-prediabetic cohort[18.6%vs 14.7%,odds ratio(OR)1.34,95%confidence interval 1.26-1.42,pp analyses,males had a stronger association(aOR 1.43)compared to females(aOR 1.22),whereas on the race-wise comparison,Hispanics(aOR 1.43)and Asians(aOR 1.36)had a stronger association with MACCE with prediabetes vs whites(aOR 1.33)and blacks(aOR 1.21).CONCLUSION This p.p.lation-

Kiran Nandivada’s Stuck Blade in a Grinder Jar Degenerative Cascade by LSTV at L5-S1

Background: Mario Bertolotti, (1917) described LSTV-Lumbar spinal transitional vertebra as Bertolotti Syndrome a century ago and associated low back pain with it. Yet, it needs to be given significance in general orthopaedic practice even now, and radiologists underreport it. LSTV is a congenital anatomical anomaly that Castellvi classified into four varying types. purpose: I titled this phenomenon “Kiran Nandivada’s stuck blade in a grinder jar degenerative cascade by LSTV at L5-S1” to clearly explain how an abnormal mega-transverse ap.p.ysis with its various variations affects the weight-bearing mechanics as the L5-S1 which is a vital junction where the maximum body weight is directed into both the sacroiliac joints and if a transitional vertebra occurs it becomes detrimental and abnormally redirects the load-bearing forces and leads to a progressive degenerative cascade both proximally and distally. As the L5 vertebral rotations and other movements of flexion, extensions, lateral flexion are stuck like a bent grinder blade, the other areas of the region are damaged progressively as the pelvis, just like the grinder motor tries to move it, resulting in overheating and maybe even a burnout results in the form of facet arthritis, disc degeneration in the normal disc above, the transitional disc at L5-S1, foraminal osteophytes causing radiculopathy, sacroiliac joint arthritis. Material and Methods: Around 200 X-rays of children and adults with this congenital anomaly have been studied between 2020 and 2023. This is a retrospective study. Results: 1) Our study showed an Increased incidence of LSTV at 15%. 2) patients ranged from asymptomatic, atypical lumbago to classical lumbago with sciatica and claudication. Enhanced resistive switching properties of HfAlOx/ZrO2- based RRAM devices

Resistive Random-Access Memory(RRAM) devices are recognized as potential candidates for next-generation memory devices, due to their smallest cell size, high write/erase speed, and endurance. particularly, the resistive switching(RS) characteristics in oxide materials have offered new opportunities for developing CMOScompatible high-density RRAM devices. In this study, the RS behavior of HfAlOx/ZrO2thin films sandwiched structure between TiN bottom electrode and Au top electrodes were investigated. It was found that Au/HfAlOx/ZrO2/TiN stacks were superior in terms of RS performance when compare to Au/HfAlOx/TiN memory stacks. The devices demonstrated a good resistance ratio of high resistance state and low resistance state ～103 for Au/HfAlOx/TiN and ～105 for Au/HfAlOx/ZrO2/TiN stacks, respectively. Both stacks showed good retention characteristics(>104s) and endurance(>103cycles). The experimental current-voltage characteristics fitted with different conducting mechanisms, the linear lower bias region is dominated by ohmic conductivity, whereas the non-linear higher bias region was dominated by space-charge limited current conduction mechanism.
