＜正＞Advances of repetitively operated relativistic backward wave oscillator （BWos） is *** of operating stability of BWo was obtained based on our earlier BWo operating at 100 Hz repetitive rates through changing the cathode and beam *** oil- immersed graphite cathode and water-cooled beam collector were introduced to increase output stability. Experimental results indicate that BWo’s efficiency is up to the highest 33 % at optimum diode voltage,which is consistent with numerical *** BWo could stably operate at rates of 100 Hz with microwave output power of over 1 GW,and the continuous time was up to 5 seconds.

A simple 10 ps KrF laser system consisting of quenched dye laser oscillator pumped by a XeCl laser, a distributed feedback dye laser (DFDL), a three stage dye amplifier and a two stage KrF amplifier are described. The output of the laser system is 140 mJ with 10 ps pulse width by using polarization multiplexing amplification. A focused output laser intensity of about 4×10 15 W/cm 2 is obtained. The saturation fluence for KrF laser is obtained with this laser.

The transient friction in channel mean flows is the sum of two contributions,i.e., the underlying laminar flow(ULF) and the purely turbulent component(pTC), and the contributions are analyzed separately by theoretical experiments. It is found that,the transient friction may be higher or remarkably lower than that in equal-Reynolds number steady-state flows. The universal time constant for plane-parallel laminar flows is reported, and the role of the time constant in a turbulent mean flow is examined. It is shown that the time constant is related to the turbulence's frozen time. Finally, a study of the logarithmic layer during the transient flow is accomplished, which shows that the logarithmic layer is destroyed.

Herein,a physical and mathematical model of the voltage−current characteristics of a p−n heterostructure with quantum wells(QWs)is prepared using the Sah−Noyce−Shockley(SNS)recombination mechanism to show the SNS recombination rate of the correction function of the distribution of QWs in the space charge region of diode configuration.A comparison of the model voltage−current characteristics(VCCs)with the experimental ones reveals their *** technological parameters of the structure of the VCC model are determined experimentally using a nondestructive capacitive approach for determining the impurity distribution profile in the active region of the diode structure with a profile depth resolution of up to 10Å.The correction function in the expression of the recombination rate shows the possibility of determining the derivative of the VCCs of structures with QWs with a nonideality factor of up to 4.

Nd^(3+)-doped tellurite glasses are promising materials for thermometers based on the fluorescence intensity ratio(FIR)***,at high Nd^(3+)concentrations,energy transfer(ET)processes such as optical reabsorption and cross-relaxation can affect the Nd^(3+)emission,which has been little explored in the ***,the present work investigated the use of Nd^(3+)-doped tellurite glass(samples doped with Nd^(3+)at 0.2 mol%,0.5 mol%,2.0 mol%,and 4.0 mol%)in fluorescence thermometers,in the temperature range from 299 to 371 *** results indicate a strong dependence of the FIR parameters on the Nd^(3+)concentration,due to changes in the emission band profiles caused by optical reabsorption of the Nd^(3+)emissions and cross-relaxation processes.A decrease of the relative sensitivity of the ratio^(4)F_(5/2)→^(4)I_(9/2)/^(4)F_(3/2)→^(4)I_(9/2)is observed for samples doped with higher amounts of Nd^(3+).The maximum relative sensitivity at 299 K is 3.00%/K,which is the highest value among the reported Nd^(3+)ions.
