managed peatlands are a significant source of nitrous oxide(N_(2)O),a powerful greenhouse gas and stratospheric ozone *** to the complexity and diversity of microbial N_(2)O processes,different methods such as tracer,isotopomer,and microbiological technologies are required to understand these *** combined application of different methods helps to precisely estimate these processes,which is crucial for the future management of drained peatlands,and to mitigate soil degradation and negative atmospheric *** this study,we investigated N_(2)O sources by combining tracer,isotopomer,and microbial analysis in a drained peatland forest under flooded and drained *** average,the nitrification genes showed higher abundances in the drained treatment,and the denitrification genes showed higher abundances in the flooded *** is consistent with the underlying chemistry,as nitrification requires oxygen while denitrification is *** observed significant differences in labelled N_(2)O fluxes between the drained and flooded *** emissions of N_(2)O from the flooded treatment were nearly negligible,whereas the N_(2)O evolved from the nitrogen-15(^(15)N)-labelled ammonium(^(15)NH4+)in the drained treatment peaked at 147μg ^(15)N m^(-2) h^(-1).This initially suggested nitrification as the driving mechanism behind N_(2)O fluxes in drained peatlands,but based on the genetic data,isotopic analysis,and N_(2)O mass enrichment,we conclude that hybrid N_(2)O formation involving ammonia oxidation was the main source of N_(2)O emissions in the drained *** on the ^(15)N-labelled nitrate(^(15)NO3-)tracer addition and gene copy numbers,the low N_(2)O emissions in the flooded treatment came possibly from complete denitrification producing inert *** atomic level,we observed selective enrichment of mass 45 of N_(2)O molecule under ^(15)NH4+amendment in the drained treatment and enrichment of both masses 45 and 46 under

本综述的主要目的是整合已发表的有关产蛋母鸡氨基酸需要量的数据,并根据这些数据提出一套新的推荐标准。自1994年以来,产蛋母鸡对赖氨酸、含硫氨基酸、苏氨酸、色氨酸、支链氨基酸和精氨酸需要量的推荐值不尽一致。本综述还发现,试验所用产蛋母鸡的品种、年龄、基础日粮组成和评估方法会影响产蛋母鸡氨基酸需要量的推荐值。目前,由于对可持续生产的需求,产蛋母鸡低粗蛋白(crude protein,Cp)日粮的开发正受到越来越多的关注。这涉及到日粮成分的彻底改变,包括非结合氨基酸(nonbound amino acid)、必需氨基酸和非必需氨基酸。在产蛋母鸡日粮中添加更多的非结合氨基酸,会改变蛋白质的消化动力学,并可能会影响产蛋母鸡对氨基酸的需要量。本综述讨论了目前对产蛋母鸡氨基酸需要量的推荐值,并提出了一些未来可更好地满足蛋鸡业需求的改进方案。

metabolic syndrome and the urinary microbiome of patients undergoing percutaneous nephrolithotomy

Objective:To identify possible stone-promoting microbes,we compared the profiles of microbes grown from stones of patients with and without metabolic syndrome(metS).The association between metS and urinary stone disease is well established,but the exact pathophysiologic relationship remains *** evidence suggests urinary tract dysbiosis may lead to increased nephrolithiasis ***:At the time of percutaneous nephrolithotomy,bladder urine and stone fragments were collected from patients with and without *** sample types were subjected to expanded quantitative urine culture(EQUC)and 16 S ribosomal RNA gene ***:Fifty-seven patients included 12 controls(21.1%)and 45 metS patients(78.9%).Both cohorts were similar with respect to demographics and non-metS *** controls had uric acid stone *** EQUC,bacteria were detected more frequently in metS stones(42.2%)compared to controls(8.3%)(p=0.041).Bacteria also were more abundant in stones of metS patients compared to *** validate our EQUC results,we performed 16 S ribosomal RNA gene *** 12/16(75.0%)sequence-positive stones,EQUC reliably isolated at least one species of the sequenced *** were detected in both“infectious”and“non-infectious”stone ***:Bacteria are more common and more abundant in metS stones than control *** findings support a role for bacteria in urinary stone disease for patients with metS regardless of stone composition.

The High-Resolution Remote Sensing Image Change Detection Based on Differential Feature Fusion Siamese pyramid Transformer model

In recent years, deep learning (DL) techniques have made substantial breakthroughs in the field of remote sensing image change detection tasks. The Transformer-based method can better model global image information and has been studied and applied in the field of change detection. However, the existing transformer-based change detection methods only focus on the modeling of global information and ignore the importance of local details. To solve the above problems, this paper proposes a Siamese pyramid Transform - er change detection network based on differential feature fusion(DSTR). The model uses Siamese pyramid Transformer to build an encoder for multi-scale feature extraction, and a decoder using multilayer deconvolution to recover the original resolution of the feature map. At the same time, a differential feature fusion module is proposed, which uses the differential attention mechanism to fuse the difference information of dual-temporal features at different scales to improve the model change information extraction ability. Experiments on two public change detection datasets show that the proposed method has achieved better detection results than the current relevant cutting-edge methods. © 2024 Editorial Board of medical Journal of Wuhan University. Effect of drug therapies on self-reported chemosensory outcomes after COVID-19

Objective:The aim of this study was to assess the relative efficacy of medications used following severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2(SARS-CoV-2)infection on self-reported alterations in taste and/or smell ***:Seven hundred and fourteen persons with self-reported postcoronavirus disease 2019(post-COVID-19)chemosensory disorders were personally interviewed regarding specific medications they were administered following the acute phase of the *** dependent measure—self-reported total recovery of chemosensory symptoms—was subjected to stepwise logistic *** predictors included demographic and clinical variables,in addition to specific medications used to mitigate disease symptoms(i.e.,systemic corticosteroids,oseltamivir,vitamin C,ibuprofen,hydroxychloroquine,azithromycin,ivermectin,nitazoxanide,anticoagulants,and zinc).Results:The median time between COVID-19 symptom onset and the interviews was 81 days(interquartile range:60-104).Of the 714 subjects,249(34.9%)reported total recovery of their chemosensory function;437(61.2%)had at least one treatment since the beginning of the *** and those with more comorbidities had undergone more *** recovery rates of the treated and nontreated groups did not differ ***,respondents who had used nitazoxanide tended to have a higher rate of self-reported taste or smell *** who took oral zinc were less likely to ***:No medication employed during the first months after SARS-CoV-2 infection had a clear positive effect on returning self-reported smell or taste function to normal,although nitrazoxide trended in a positive *** zinc had a negative effect on the reported recovery of these senses.

An analysis of air pollution associated with the 2023 sand and dust storms over China:Aerosol properties and pm_(10) variability

Every spring,a large part of China is confronted with sand and dust storms(SDS)–mainly originating in the Gobi(including Chinese and mongolian Gobi)and Taklamakan *** march-April 2023,most of northern,northwestern and northeastern China was struck by three sandstorms that affected an area with more than 500 million *** this study,aerosol optical,microphysical and radiative properties were studied during these SDS events using an integrated approach that combines satellite,terrestrial and re-analysis *** results showed that dusty conditions were observed in most areas north of the Yangtze River(Chang Jiang)with daily average pm_(10)concentrations exceeding 1000 lg/m^(3) in many *** aerosol optical depth(AOD)at 550 nm during three SDS events exceeded a value of 1 throughout nearly the entire northern part of the *** AERONET data obtained from the AOE_Baotou site showed a significant increase in total AOD and a corresponding decrease in AE during the *** single scattering albedo(SSA),asymmetry parameter(ASY),real refractive index(RRI)and imaginary refractive index(IRI)values indicate an abundance of scattering coarse-mode *** radiative forcing(ARF)at top of the atmosphere and at the earth’s surface was nearly always negative during the period and ranged from48.5 to+2.7 Wm^(-2)and from180.8 to66.6 Wm^(-2),resulting in high positive ARF values at ATm(from+63.8 to+132.3 Wm^(-2)).Each of these affects the heating of the atmosphere and cooling on the earth’s *** atmospheric heating rates ranged from 1.8 to 3.7 K day*** formation of these SDS mainly resulted from the passage of cold fronts associated with low pressure systems in the Gobi and Taklamakan deserts,creating conditions for dust to rise into the atmosphere and move further downwind.
