In this review,we tried to systematize all the evidence(from pubMed[MEDLINE],Scopus,Cochrane Library,EBSCO,Embase,and Google Scholar)from 1993 to 2021 on the predictors of microsurgical varicocelectomy efficacy in male infertility *** the outcomes of varicocele repair,we considered semen improvement and pregnancy and analyzed them *** on the 2011 Oxford CEBM Levels of Evidence,we assigned a score to each trial that studied the role of the *** systematized the studied predictors based on the total points,which were,in turn,calculated based on the number and quality of studies that confirmed or rejected the studied predictor as significant,into three levels of significance:predictors of high,moderate,and low clinical *** total motile sperm count(TMSC)coupled with sperm concentration can be a significant predictor of semen improvement and pregnancy after *** addition,for semen improvement alone,scrotal Doppler ultrasound(DUS)parameters,sperm DNA fragmentation index(DFI),and bilateral varicocelectomy are reliable predictors of microsurgical varicocelectomy efficacy.

Magnesium alloy(AZ91D)composites reinforced with silicon carbide particle with different volume percentage were fabricated by two step stir casting *** effect of changes in particle size and volume fraction of SiC particles on physical and mechanical properties of composites were evaluated under as cast and heat treated(T6)*** experimental results were compared with the standard theoretical *** results reveal that the mechanical properties of composites increased with increasing SiC particles and decrease with increasing particle *** of particles and fractured surface were studied through SEM and the presence of elements is revealed by EDS study.

KD(D&K) (Synthesized Knowledge Discovery System based on Database and KnowledgeBase Cooperating Mechanism) is first advanced in this paper on the basis of KDD (KnowledgeDiscovery System based on Database) and KDK (Knowledge Discovery System based on KnowledgeBase). This paper analyses the herding behaviour among exchanges around the expiration of bitcoin futures traded on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange(CME).The database extends from December 2017 to October 2020,taking as a reference the main exchanges that trade bitcoin(Binance,Bitfinex,Bitstamp,Coinbase,itBit,Kraken,and Gemini)and using hourly closing prices and trading volumes in bitcoin and US *** the proposal of Chang,Cheng and Khorana(2000)(CCK)to test conditional herding,we obtain results that indicate that the herding effect is significant during the week before *** expiration,the herding effect lasts for a few hours and *** overload originating,among other causes,from sophisticated investors’strategies may generate this mimetic *** results show the relevance of intraday data applied to specific events such as expiration since the unconditional analysis shows,in general,anti-herding behaviour throughout the period of study.

Ankle arthrodesis is a common treatment used for patients with end-stage ankle arthritis(ESAA). The surgical goal of ankle arthrodesis is to obtain bony union between the tibia and talus with adequate alignment [slight valgus(0°-5°)], neutral dorsiflexion, and slight external rotation positions) in order to provide a pain-free plantigrade foot for weightbearing activities. There are many variations in operative technique including deferring approaches(open or arthroscopic) and differing fixation methods(internal or external fixation). Each technique has its advantage and disadvantages. Success of ankle arthrodesis can be dependent on several factors, including patient selection, surgeons' skills, patient comorbidities, operative care, etc. However, from our experience, the majority of ESAA patients obtain successful clinical outcomes. This review aims to outline the indications and goals of arthrodesis for treatment of ESAA and discuss both open and arthroscopic ankle arthrodesis. A systematic step by step operative technique guide is presented for both the arthroscopic and open approaches including a postoperative protocol. We review the current evidence supporting each approach. The review finishes with a report of the most recent evidence of outcomes after both approaches and concerns regarding the development of hindfoot arthritis.

Kasai procedure(Kp)and liver transplantation(LT)represent the only therapeutic options for patients with biliary atresia(BA),the most common indication for LT in the pediatric ***,Kp represents by no means a radical option but rather a bridging one,as nearly all patients will finally require a liver *** and more experts in the field of transplant surgery propose that maybe it is time for a paradigm change in BA treatment and abandon Kp as transplantation seems *** of organs yet makes this option currently not feasible,so it seems useful to find ways to maximize the efficacy of *** previous decades,multiple studies tried to identify these factors which opt for better results,but in general,outcomes of Kp have not improved to the level that was *** review provides the framework of conditions which favor native liver survival after Kp and the ones which optimize a positive LT *** of transition of care at the right time are also presented,as transplantation plays a key role in the surgical treatment of *** studies and further organization in the transplant field will allow for greater organ availability and better outcomes to be achieved for BA patients.

This study aimed at determining the levels of total mercury(THg)in tailings dams,soil,sediments and water samples collected in the vicinity of legacy mercury amalgam gold *** digestion was employed in sample digestion followed by analysis using *** dams,community and garden soil,and stream sediments were further investigated for mercury fractions using a five step sequential extraction *** concentrations of THg in tailings dams,community and gardens soil were 0.890e6.755 mg/g,0.431e0.968 mg/g and 0.471e1.019 mg/g,respectively and the concentrations of THg in the sediments obtained from tailings dams,streams and wetlands were 0.649e1.998 mg/g,0.604 e1.356 mg/g and 0.681e1.356 mg/g,*** concentrations of THg,in aqueous samples obtained from tailings,streams and wetlands were 0.032e0.070 mg/l,0.004e0.068 mg/l and 0.007e0.012 mg/l,*** sequential extraction procedure showed that most Hg in the tailings dams was largely elemental Hg and Hg bound to *** and sediments were largely dominated by organic bound *** seasonal correlation was observed in tailings dams soil,but weak seasonal correlation in soils collected in the vicinity of ***,a strong seasonal correlationwas observed in sediments and water *** concentrations of Hg obtained largely existed in organic and sulphate bound Hg and there is elevated potential to methylate Hg.

In recent years, QoS multicast routing has continued to be a very important research topic in the areas of networks. This paper presents a heuristic algorithm for the QoS multicast routing (HAQMR). This heuristic algorithm deals with delay and bandwidth constraints and has low cost. The HAQMR attempts to significantly reduce the overhead for constructing a multicast tree, the proof for correctness of the HAQMR is given, and the performance of the HAQMR is evaluated by simulations. The study shows that HAQMR provides an available approach to QoS multicast routing.
