A linear regression model in conjunction with cluster analysis was applied to the groundwater quality parameters for the Vaniyambadi industrial area, Tamil Nadu, India. These physico-chemical parameters were collected from 25 wells by intensive groundwater sampling conducted during January 2010. All the major ions, pH and electrical conductivity were analyzed. The abundances of cations were in the order of Na l pectively. This was in agreement with the water types, Na-Cl and Na-Ca-HCO3, determined by the piper plot. High concentrations of the ions Na, Cl and SO4 were recorded near the tanneries that operate within the study area. While the elevated concentrations of HCO3 and F were observed away from the tanneries. This peculiar hydrochemical behaviour suggests that the chemistry of water is predominantly influenced by tannery effluents and weathering of silicate minerals. Results of the linear regression model yielded 11 regression equations for the 5 most correlated parameters. A dendrogram from the cluster analysis showed 2 major clusters representing the influence of tanneries and geological formations in the study area, which confirmed the results of major ion chemistry.

AIM:To evaluate the value of MR cholangiopancreatography (MRCp)in patients in whom endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCp)was unsuccessfully performed by experts in a tertiary center. METHODS:From January 2000 to June 2003,22 patients fulfilled the inclusion *** indications for ERCp were obstructive jaundice(n=9),abnormal liver enzymes(n=8), suspected chronic pancreatitis(n=2),recurrent acute pancreatitis(n=2),or suspected pancreatic cancer(n=1). The reasons for the ERCp failure were the postsurgical anatomy(n=7),duodenal stenosis(n=3),duodenal diverticulum(n=2),and technical failure(n=10).MRCp images were evaluated before and 5 and 10 rain after i.v. administration of 0.5 IU/kg secretin. RESUlTS:The MRCp images were diagnosed in all 21 *** patients gave normal MR findings and required no further *** revealed abnormalities(primary sclerosing cholangitis,chronic pancreatitis,cholangitis,cholecystolithiasis or common bile duct dilation)in 20 patients,who were followed up *** patients subsequently underwent laparotomy(hepaticojejunostomy in consequence of common bile duct stenosis caused by unresectable pancreatic cancer;hepaticotomy+Kehr drainage because of insufficient biliary-enteric anastomosis;choledochoj- ejunostomy,gastrojejunostomy and cysto-Wirsungo gastrostomy because of chronic pancreatitis,or choledochojejunostomy because of common bile duct stenosis caused by chronic pancreatitis).Three patients participated in therapeutic percutaneous transhepatic *** indications were choledocholithiasis with choledochojejunostomy,insufficient biliary-enteric anastomosis,or cholangiocarcinoma. CONClUSION:MRCp can assist the diagnosis and management of patients in whom ERCp is not possible.

沉水植物分解导致大量溶解性有机质(DOM)进入水环境,进而对水质产生重要影响.然而,关于沉水植物分布对沉积物间隙水DOM的变化特征及其对氮磷释放的影响研究较少.本研究利用紫外-可见吸收光谱(UV-vis)和三维荧光光谱结合平行因子(EEMs-pARAFAC)技术对比研究了洱海沉水植物分布/非分布区沉积物间隙水DOM组分变化特征,并探讨DOM变化对氮磷释放的影响.结果表明,沉水植物分布区沉积物间隙水DOM主要以富里酸为主,而沉水植物非分布区DOM则以腐殖酸为主.通过UV-vis分析发现,沉水植物分布区沉积物间隙水DOM a_(355)、a_(440)、SUVA_(254)、A_(253)/A_(203)、S_(R)平均值高于植物非分布区,这表明沉水植物分解作用能够促进沉积物间隙水DOM含量、芳香性、分子量、以及取代基数量增加.沉水植物分布区上覆水和间隙水氮磷浓度均高于沉水植物非分布区,这主要是由于沉水植物衰亡期腐烂分解释放氮磷.此外,DOM中的羟基和羧基能够与磷酸盐竞争沉积物颗粒上的吸附位点,有利于磷酸盐从沉积物颗粒表面解吸和释放,进而促进沉积物磷酸盐向上覆水释放.本研究为增强沉水植物对沉积物DOM特征和氮磷释放机制理解提供有价值的信息,并为通过沉水植物修复和控制湖泊沉积物内源污染提供科学指导.

A tetrad field that is homogeneous and anisotropic which contains two unknown functions A（t） and B（t） of cosmic time is applied to the field equations of f（T）, where T is the torsion scalar, T = T~μ_（νρ）S_μ^（νρ）. We calculate the equation of continuity and rewrite it as a product of two brackets, the first is a function of f（T） and the second is a function of the two unknowns A（t） and B（t）. We use two different relations between the two unknown functions A（t） and B（t） in the second bracket to solve it. Both of these relations give constant scalar torsion and solutions coincide with the de Sitter one. So,another assumption related to the contents of the matter fields is postulated. This assumption enables us to drive a solution with a non-constant value of the scalar torsion and a form of f（T） which represents ΛCDM.

The magnetic response, microstructural and texture changes occurring during cold rolling of a Fe-14Mn-0.64C-2.4AI-0.25Si medium stacking fault energy TWlp （twinning induced plasticity） steel have been studied by X-ray diffraction and magnetic techniques. The changes in the sub-grain size （Ds）, probability of stacking fault formation （psf） and microstrain in the material as cold rolling progressed were determined by using a modified version of the Williamson and Hall equation. A strong development of the crystallographic texture with increasing deformation was observed. Deformation-induced formation of a small fraction α＇-martensite was observed, indicating that the steel also exhibits γ→α＇-martensite transformation during cold rolling, which is discussed via the changes of the stacking-fault probability and the texture development during cold rolling.

Intelligent techniques foster the dissemination of new discoveries and novel technologies that advance the ability of robots to assist and support humans. The human-centered intelligent robot has become an important research field that spans all of the robot capabilities including navigation, intelligent control, pattern recognition and human-robot interaction. This paper focuses on the recent achievements and presents a survey of existing works on human-centered robots. Furthermore, we provide a comprehensive survey of the recent development of the human-centered intelligent robot and discuss the issues and challenges in the field.

The monophthalocyanine complexes of samarium and terbium containing axial 2-mercaptobenzothiazole（pc Sm（MBT）（1））, 2-（2-benzoxazol-2-yl） phenolate（pc Tb（OON）（2）） or 2-（2-benzothiazol-2-yl）phenolate（pc Tb（SON）（3）） ligands were synthesized and identified by elemental, lDI-TOF and X-ray（for 1） ***（pl） and electroluminescence（El） spectra of the compounds contained only emission bands of phthalocyanine and axial ligands but did not contain the bands of f-f *** was found that among the complexes 1, 2, 3 the latter had highest photoconductivity（~10–7 S/cm） and photovoltaic *** organic photovoltaic device（OpV） of configuration of ITO/3/C60/Alq3/Al revealed open-circuit voltage（VOC） of 0.24 V and short current density（ISC） of 0.3 μA/cm2 under illumination by a xenon lamp at 17 m W/cm2.

This article reports the different steps of the design, development and validation of a process for continuous production of carbon nanotubes （CNTs） via catalytic chemical vapor deposition from the laboratory scale to the industrial production. This process is based on a continuous inclined mobile-bed rotating reactor and very active catalysts using methane or ethylene as carbon source. The importance of modeling taking into account the hydrodynamic, physicochemical and physical phenomena that occur during CNT production in the process analysis is emphasized. The impact of this invention on the environment and human health is taken into consideration too.
