On the functions of astrocyte-mediated neuronal slow inward currents

We examine electron kinetic effects in broadband-laser-driven back-stimulated Raman scattering(BSRS)bursts using particle-in-cell *** bursts occur during the nonlinear stage,causing reflectivity spikes and generating large numbers of hot ***-duration simulations are performed to observe burst events,and a simplified model is developed to eliminate the interference of the broadband laser’s random intensity *** the simplified model,we isolate and characterize the spectrum of electron plasma *** spectrum changes from a sideband structure to a turbulence-like structure during the burst.A significant asymmetry in the spectrum is *** asymmetry is amplified and transferred to electron phase space by high-intensity broadband laser pulses,leading to violent vortex-merging and generation of hot *** proportion of hot electrons increases from 6.76%to 14.7%during a single violent burst *** demonstrate that kinetic effects profoundly influence the BSRS evolution driven by broadband lasers.

Analytical solutions for equivalent elastic compliance of cubic lattice structures subjected to hypergravity conditions

In order to comprehensively understand the mechanical behavior of biological entities and aerospace applications subjected to hypergravity environments,we delve into the impact of hypergravity on the equivalent compliance of cubic lattice *** on the periodic spatial distribution,we employ a unit cell methodology to deduce the homogenized stress-strain relationship for the lattice structures,subsequently obtaining the associated equivalent *** equivalent compliance can be conveniently reduced to instances without hypergravity ***,numerical simulations are executed to validate the derivations and to illustrate that hypergravity indeed affects the mechanical properties of lattice *** introduce a non-dimensional hypergravity factor,which quantifies the impact of hypergravity magnitude relative to the Young’s modulus of the base *** findings reveal that the hypergravity factor influences perpendicular compliance quadratically and parallel compliance ***,the perpendicular shear compliance remains unaffected,whereas the parallel shear compliance experiences an inverse ***,the lattice structure transforms into a gradient material oriented in the hypergravity direction,consequently generating a scale effect.

Intestinal microbiota imbalance may worsen the progression of ulcerative colitis(UC).lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus lS8(lR)has the potential ability to regulate microbiota through producing a novel antibacterial substance,cyclic opine:*** study aimed to investigate whether lR could ameliorate dextran sulfate sodium-induced UC in mice via modulating intestinal microbiota using fecal microbiota transplantation(FMT)*** results showed that both lR and FMT attenuated UC as evidenced by 1)alleviating disease activity index and colonic pathology;2)up-regulating MUCs and tight junction proteins;3)increasing oxidative mediators and decreasing antioxidant mediators;4)down-regulating proinflammatory cytokines and *** results were mainly attributable to the microbiota-regulating effect of lR,including increasing beneficial bacteria(like Akkermansia)and its related SCFAs,while decreasing harmful bacteria(like proteobacteria)and its related lpS,thereby suppressing the hyperactivation of TlR4/NF-κB ***,lR can alleviate UC and is a potential dietary supplement to attenuate UC.

Compact flame-holders for afterburners are an increasing requirement for modern aero ***,flame-holder design is non-trivial since high inlet temperatures,velocities,and elaborate structures induce complex turbulence,combustion,and spray coupling in modern *** this work,the lES-pdf and stochastic fields-lagrangian particle spray methods are used to investigate methane and aviation kerosene combustion structures formed by new-type concave *** flow pattern,combustion mode,and flame structure of gaseous and liquid fuel around a concave flame-holder are analyzed,discussed,and compared with experimental *** reveal that the flame stability of a concave flame-holder is better than that of the non-concave ***,when using liquid fuel,the concave flame-holder forms a stable and compact *** results suggest concave flame-holders are a promising design for compact afterburners.

Effect of relative humidity on the desulfurization performance of calcium-based desulfurizer

low desulfurization efficiency impedes the wide application of dry desulfurization technology,which is a low-cost and simple process,and one significant solution is the development and manufacture of high-performance *** this study,firstly,a steam jet mill was used to digest quicklime;then,we utilized numerical simulation to study the flow field distribution and analyze the driving factors of quicklime digestion;and lastly,the desulfurization performance of the desulfurizer was evaluated under different relative *** results show that the desulfurizer prepared via the steam jet mill had better apparent activity than traditional ***,the entire jet flow field of the steam jet mill is in a supersonic and highly turbulent flow state,with high crushing intensity and good particle acceleration *** contact with the nascent surface maximizes the formation of slaked *** experiments demonstrated that the operating time with 100%desulfurization efficiency and the“break-through”time for the desulfurizer prepared via the steam jet mill is longer than that of traditional desulfurizers,and has significant advantages,especially at low flue gas relative *** with traditional desulfurizers,the desulfurizer prepared via steam jet mill expands the range of acceptable flue gas temperature,and the failure temperature is 1.625 times that of traditional *** work breaks through the technical bottleneck of low dry desulfurization efficiency,which is an important step in pushing forward the application of dry desulfurization.

Study on the dynamic mechanical properties of winding-block axial structure considering short circuit strain rate effect

Transformers may suffer multiple short-circuit impacts during long-term operation,and axial instability is one of the typical types of serious accidents caused by short-circuit *** axial instability form of the winding-block structure is analysed,and the dynamic solution of the winding short-circuit electromagnetic force is obtained by estab-lishing the three-dimensional magnetic-circuit-force multi-physical field coupling simulation *** influence of strain rate on the cushion block constitutive equation is corrected,and the modified model is verified by short-circuit impact test and quasi-static *** research results show that for 110 kV 31.5 MVA transformers,the maximum electromagnetic axial resultant force of winding is 363.16 kN,and the ultimate tilt force is 1214.2 *** pre-tightening force configuration is accordingly recom-mended to range from 363.16 to 608.28 kN,which is narrowed by 18.49%compared with the static calculation method;Meanwhile,adding a logarithmic strain rate correction term to the classical constitutive equation of the cushion block can achieve a good correction of the stress-strain relationship with the coefficient of determination above 0.99,and the cushion block has a larger elastic modulus under high strain rate *** research results provide an important theoretical reference for the axial stability structure of transformers.
