The application of extracellular vesicles,particularly exosomes(EXs),is rapidly expanding in the field of medicine,owing to their remarkable properties as natural carriers of biological *** study investigates utilization of exosomes derived from stromal cells of tumor adjacent normal tissues(NAF-EXs)for personalized medicine,which can be derived at the time of diagnosis by endoscopic ***,we show that exosomes(EXs)derived from NAFs demonstrate differential bio-physical characteristics,efficient cellular internalization,drug loading efficiency,pancreatic tumor targeting and delivery of ***-derived EXs(NAF-EXs)were used for loading ormeloxifene(ORM),a potent anti-cancer and desmoplasia inhibitor as a model *** found that ORM maintains normal fibroblast cell phenotype and renders them incompatible to be triggered for a CAF-like phenotype,which may be due to regulation of Ca^(2+) influx in fibroblast ***-EXs-ORM effectively blocked oncogenic signaling pathways involved in desmoplasia and epithelial mesenchymal transition(EMT)and repressed tumor growth in xenograft mouse *** conclusion,our data suggests preferential tropism of NAF-EXs for pDAC tumors,thus imply feasibility of developing a novel personalized medicine for pDAC patients using autologous NAF-EXs for improved therapeutic outcome of anti-cancer ***,it provides the opportunity of utilizing this biological scaffold for effective therapeutics in combination with standard therapeutic regimen.

The pinning of quantized magnetic vortices in superconducting YBa_(2)Cu_(3)O_(7-δ)(YBCO or Y123)thin films with Y_(2)BaCuO_(5)(Y211)nanoinclusions have been investigated over wide temperature range(4.2-77 k).The concentration of Y211 nanoinclusions has been systematically varied inside YBCO thin films prepared by laser ablation technique using surface modified target *** pinning force density values(Fp∼0.5 TNm^(−3)at 4.2 k,9 T)have been observed for the YBCO film with moderate concentration of Y211 nanoinclusions(3.6 area%on ablation target).In addition,uniform enhancement in critical current density(J_(c))was observed in the angular dependent J_(c)measurement of YBCO+Y211 nanocomposite films.Y211 nanoinclusions have been found to be very efficient in pinning the quantized vortices thereby enhancing the in‐field J_(c)values over a wide range of *** the concentration of Y211 secondary phase into Y123 film matrix results into agglomeration of Y211 phase and observed as increased Y211 nanoparticle *** larger secondary phase nanoparticles are not as efficient pinning centers at lower temperatures as they are at higher temperatures due to substantial reduction of the coherence length at lower *** of the temperature dependence of J_(c)for YBCO+Y211 nanocomposite films has been conducted and possible vortex pinning mechanism in these nanocomposite films has been discussed.

Objective: To investigate the feasibility of transcanal endoscopic myringoplasty in the hand of young beginner surgeons who had just completed the residency ***: In a three year period(August 2012 to August 2015), 44 ears in 42 patients were operated upon by a beginner surgeon through the transcanal endoscopic approach in a subdistrict level hospital located in the north western ranges of the Himalayan ***: Of the 42 patient, 19 were male and 23 female. The mean age was 26.23 years(range: 15 e47 years). In 40 ears, complete perforation closure was achieved at six months(success rate: 90.9%). The mean air conduction pTA preoperatively was 40.84 dB HL and improved to 28.06 dB HL postoperatively(p p preoperatively was 22.40 dB, which improved to 9.1 dB postoperatively(p pic transcanal myringoplasty is safe and reliable even in young beginners' *** can consider endoscopic approach early in their careers without the fear of learning curve. The cost of endoscopic equipment is about one tenth as compared to open approach under a operating microscope, and an added advantage.

parkinson's disease is an idiopathic disorder of the central nervous system, characterized by resting tremors, muscular rigidity, slow and decreased movements. Oral rehabilitation of these patients requires special care, especially in those cases where the patient's socioeconomic status is not good and patient cannot come several times for fabrication of a complete denture. This clinical report presents a case of a parkinson's patient who was completely rehabilitated in 3 appointments using special techniques. Border molding, f inal impression and jaw relation procedures were done in one appointment by using a custom tray with detachable handles and occlusal rims.

prediction and diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases(CVDs)based,among other things,on medical examinations and patient symptoms are the biggest challenges in *** 17.9 million people die from CVDs annually,accounting for 31%of all deaths *** a timely prognosis and thorough consideration of the patient’s medical history and lifestyle,it is possible to predict CVDs and take preventive measures to eliminate or control this life-threatening *** this study,we used various patient datasets from a major hospital in the United States as prognostic factors for *** data was obtained by monitoring a total of 918 patients whose criteria for adults were 28-77 years *** this study,we present a data mining modeling approach to analyze the performance,classification accuracy and number of clusters on Cardiovascular Disease prognostic datasets in unsupervised machine learning(ML)using the Orange data mining *** techniques are then used to classify the model parameters,such as k-nearest neighbors,support vector machine,random forest,artificial neural network(ANN),naïve bayes,logistic regression,stochastic gradient descent(SGD),and *** determine the number of clusters,various unsupervised ML clustering methods were used,such as k-means,hierarchical,and density-based spatial clustering of applications with noise *** results showed that the best model performance analysis and classification accuracy were SGD and ANN,both of which had a high score of 0.900 on Cardiovascular Disease prognostic *** on the results of most clustering methods,such as k-means and hierarchical clustering,Cardiovascular Disease prognostic datasets can be divided into two *** prognostic accuracy of CVD depends on the accuracy of the proposed model in determining the diagnostic *** more accurate the model,the better it can predict which patients are at risk for CVD.

Salvadora oleoides Decne. is a pharmaceutically important plant. Owing to poor seed formation, viability and, germination, and to anthropogenic disturbances, this species is on the verge of extinction. A reproducible micropropagation protocol to increase the population through tissue culture has been standardized and the results are reported here. Callus tissues were initiated from young leaves and stem explants. Leaf calluses proliferated with 1.5 mg/L BAp and 0.9 mg/L 2, 4-D with additives and continuous slow proliferation up to 15 weeks on 0.5 mg/L BAp and additives with 200 mg/L activated *** shoot initiation took place from stem node explants after 12 days; 4–5 shoots per node were produced in 30 days. Shoot clumps elongated and grew further on MS media supplemented with 2 mg/L BAp, 0.2 mg/L NAA and additives, which generated 20–23 shoots. The elongated shoots induced tap roots with 4 mg/L NAA and200 mg/L activated charcoal in 12 days. In vitro raised plants produced secondary roots when transferred to pots containing vermiculite maintained at 28–35 ℃. The plantlets successfully acclimatised in pots containing soil in natural conditions.
